If this gets rolled back, than my thunderhead keep mission should. My guild spent hours trying to defeat that mission and we were right near the end and we all got disconnected and tried to reconnect but it didnt let us. Now that's some bs that needs to be fixed, not this stuff about a "mat" can people who know what this game is about actually post in this thread? Got all these nobodies

Lesson #2
Seems the game is about competitive play. :hm:

I see that no one has actually answered my question: Has anyone who participated in July's Tournament actually posted in here? Come on, now. Speak up.
On a lighter note, I knew I should have put on my flame-retardant clothes, even though it's so hot out to do so... And to those who keep saying "stop posting, blah blah blah". *shakes head and mouths "no", forgoing his "A clue:" catchphrase he already stole >_>*

To be fair Jupiter, you haven't answered my questions either.
What would it hurt for a.net to at least admit their was lag?
Bah, this thread has degenerated into a stupid flame war.

God, spelling and grammer nazi eh?
I hate that. This is a freakin' internet forum, not a law brief or a research essay. I don't proof read while doing this and I'm usually watching tv at the same time.
Anyways, sorry for not seeing your response to my post earlier. Got lost in all the trolling.
So to answer your question, no, I don't believe anybody who participated has posted in this thread, however, about 20 people who have posted on the thread in the Gladiator Arena about this (ie, the PvP area of the forum, since this forum is the PvE area, we have gotten a lot more "crazy" responses and less responses by people personally involved).
Really Jupiter, the reason so many people are telling you to "stop posting" is because it is obvious you don't really give a shit about the mat and its outcome (so, why are you posting). Sure you can post and win a debate by saying "its in the rules that they don't have to redo it." However...
...it goes against the spirit and the point of the game to not redo the mat. This month's results are a hollow victory and don't mean anything. No one respects the outcome as legitamate. We all know this month was meaningless.
Which is a shame because some of the people who did well in the mat might have/definately would have done well even without the lag (such as rawr). But now there will always be an astrisk next to this month's outcome. "Oh guild such and such was in the top 8 one month?" "Yeah, but it was that month with all those disconnects, so they didn't really earn it." The situation is a shame because it spits in the face of their accomplishments.

Yes, they CAN sell it to you for 300€. But do they need to? |

Meh. We're beating the bush again. Which is kind of sad, because this bush is beating us back.
Let's just forget about it, eh? It's pretty obvious that you're opinion isn't going to change, and mine isn't.
The only thing I was wrong about was about Starcraft (which I really despise RTSs anyway, hence my ignorance, but being downright rude, crude, and socially intolerable about it is no way to treat other people; I guess that's why people treat you like shit, too, eh?). Simple mistake.
Oh, and just because I don't follow or play in any competitive-based anything (which I don't like because, well I don't like it) doesn't mean that you have to be mean about it.
Another thing, as long as it's on topic, I can post anywhere I want. Show me a rule that it says that PvE-only players can't post in here, hm?
Actually, the reason why I'm doing that is to correct and teach. Common mistakes, really. I suppose "Nazi" should be capitalized, but in this usage, it doesn't refer to an organization. But, personally, I take the time to proofread my work (which is why I have a smaller typing speed, and I try to actually think about my typing; it all just comes to me as I go along, honestly; it's kind of complicated). It's just my nature to be coherent in my abilities. Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it. I just try to avoid common errors.
Not that I'm saying I'm better than you, just saying what my personality is about things like that. ^_^v

Starcraft is the second best selling computer game of all time (only beaten by The Sims). Thus why you were getting trolled for that, since it was so incrediably popular.
Like I said though, PvPers who were in the mat are posting in the PvP section of the forum.
