This mornings update?

My guildwars started d/l somthing around 30 min ago, around 3mb , it didnt show for my guildie but he said a friend of his did.

Just wondering how many people did get it and what happened?
It was a mandatory update and when i ran image after i gto 8 new files if that matkes a differance

I've not had any update, though a guildie and a friend have...

I had one, and the login server was down a few minutes.

I had this happen to me yesterday afternoon. The game d/l something and then couldn't find any login servers. Restarted GW a few times where it downloaded a bit more and then it found the login servers and everything was fine.

I'd already picked up the documented update earlier that day and played, so it wasn't that.

Aye same thing happened to me this morning, logged on for a bit, then logged off for bout a half an hour and when i came back i needed an update. Weird one

Thank god. I thought it was a problem with my new wireless router.

Yeah, was able to play in the morning then the update came.

Doubt it was bug fixes or preparation for the weekend because 3mb is pretty big of an update.

thought i was the only one, none of my m8s had to down load a update 2day.I did -image thursday

I got it too, no idea what it did.

Just tried to log on and got this update. Now my computer locks up every time i try to open GW.

This is the only thing that has changed on my comp since the last update to GW. I have not downloaded anything, played any other games, or anything else.

Anyone have any idea that could help me out?

Same routine again, downloaded some files, then couldn't connect for a few times, eventually let me in with everything as normal.

Methinks the last update has problems since all this has started since then.

So i downloaded the update about 3 times(!).

And like 20 minutes after i got hacked.
E-mail got hacked and guild wars account is impossible to log into since they have changed the e-mail adress to the account.
Should that even be possible in 20 mins?!

I had the same as most of you lads, had a ~3mb file to download to start. Then couldn't logon for around 5mins (got err058). Then after those 5mins I downloaden another couple files and I could logon again. I think it is (as previously stated) a problem with the last update. Only strange thing is Turin (post above) who found his acount completely empty and after another couple mins also his log-on email adress was changed. (he's my guildleader)

Same thing happened to a guildie of mine named Payne Korr, but his characters weren't deleted. Instead they changed all armors and took all money and ectos and all other valueable stuffs on the account.

He has now quit playing gw cuz A-net don't wanna change back to his old e-mail, or restoring his old P/W

Nothing listed on the official updates page. Is this a hack?

Then we are sucked, everyone will be hacked and they will release GW2 tomorrow then everybody will buy it and Anet will have money again

Well, i'd like to hear official word from ANET about this. Same happened to me 3 days ago - first small update, then i was unable to connect to server, then another update and everything went back to normal (it is strange that there is no official info about those updates).
