In relation to charging for running, I don't really see the point of it, it's a team effort to get to the end chest as none of you can do the run without the other.
Personally I rarely run PuG's anyway, I just run alliance teams instead, there's too many idiots that spoil the run for those who make the effort.

Well, they nerfed UA, so now the perma can't fail until the monks can heal him with HP. Now it's gonna be harder...Any ideas?.

The idea is to not fail until the monks can heal him with HP. Maybe now the permas won't suck so bad because they now know they don't have that crutch.
What sucks is it screwed my friend's bogroot growth's dungeon run up...so he's pissed.
Anet really needs to stop messing with PvE. let us have our fun.

UA has a range on the rez now....within compass range instead of across the whole instance.

No, its not compass, its the range of a skill, like other rez.

Like UA matters? If the Assassin dies out of resurrection range just have the whole party die and you'll all be resurrected at the resurrection shrine. A little bit of DP isn't going to make that much difference. If it bothers you then bring some candy canes.

If the sin fails the whole party can still die for a fresh start at the beacon. DP doesn't matter for the rest of the party, and if the sin can still do it with some DP, why not?

My guild had no problems with the run so far post nerf, especially with killing Thommis (he just followed me as normal). It's still very doable, even if the Assassin dies and you all need to take one for the team to revive him.

Just a quick idea, it looks like Anet is intent on nerfing this. Because of this run diamonds and onyx have gone way down in price. So in the future after Anet has nerfed this onyx and diamond prices will go back up, so you might want to stock up on them, then sell them back for a profit later, or even if they don't go back up in price at least you will be able to have some cheap destroyer weapons

I just tried it after the update, still works, in fact Thommis came back on his own to the wall <wanted to attack the eles that were casting on him>
and dont worry about the UA nerf, all you need is a safe running bar on your Sin

If anything, I think this has increased the cost of granite now. It was pretty close to 300g for 10 when I last checked.

I guess the moral of the story here is to do as many runs as possible before any further updates roll out. Without UA, still possible; Thommis won't chase fleeing foes as far, still doable; obviously Anet is aiming at nerfing this very specific farm scheme, I won't be surprised if the next update comes out with "Justicar Thommis will not move further than his aggro circle at spawning time". Do it while you still can.

Ah well, all we'll need then is the monk to be Mo/N with Consume Corpse / Necrotic Traversal and Rebirth / UA and the rest of the team to /suicide close to the wall.

With all the time and trouble to die and no wall to keep minions back is likely not worth the trouble. First the Sin would have to run in get some aggro to the wall and the team kill it. Then monk quickly NTs over and everyone else dies, either Vampiric or bring aggro over to the wall and die that way. Rebirth eveyone, then go in and kill the rest, which may be only Thomis, but still lots of monkey business.
You can get to Thomis with a normal team in NM in 14 minutes. I suscpect without the wall to protect you, in HM things would be very chancy and considerably longer. What I am suggesting, maybe were back to doing Slavers completely to Duncan.

Voltaic Spears drop from all of the Chest of the Slaver. Mine dropped in Selvetarm and Duncan. Plus I've gottena number of other rare drops. However I've done the complete dungeon over 100+ times.

My question is this: Do the odds of a drop decrease depending on the number of people running quest? For example, with so many people farming the hell out of Thommis would the drop rate for the items be decreasing?

However the popularity has dimished significantly.
After going numerous times with SH and Crier teams not convinced one is better than the other, base on time. Have had 2-3 minute runs with either, it all depends on the group, the spawn, and how the group pulls.
