The height of Immaturity

Picture this.

You are a Chamber sin in the UW SC and you've had an ecto leeched by either a necro or the vale sin who then refuse to give it back, probably since they feel that:

1 -> it was not intentional

2 -> it has their name on it in big white letters

What do you do? Pull Aatxes on the labyrinth reaper and get everyone killed and fail the run on purpose, or so it would seem. I've had 2 runs in 2 days where the Chamber sin has had an argument with the vale team and then wiped the ENTIRE run out of malice.

WTF? Are you so immature that you are willing to ruin 15 to 20 mins of hard work by 6 ~ 7 ppl OTHER THAN YOU, just so you get an ecto (which is at most) worth 5k? Even though you are probably guaranteed of getting atleast 1 ecto, possibly 2 from the UW chest when you do get it?

I propose 2 things...

1 -> dont ever take those immature gits down there with you.

2 -> if you DO get leeched, have an iota of consideration for the other people who are not involved in this great tragedy and just stfu for 5 mins till you get your damn chest.

Actually, I was the Mtns terra who was on Plains doing 4 horsemen when he wiped us. I'm pissed because we all got wiped for no fault of ours.

And 1 ecto is pocket change.

I am curious: How does one "leech" ecto. Waiting for it to become unassigned and snatching it from original assignee? Or is it just picking fair-n-square assigned drop?

prolly close by and because of that the ecto drops for that "other" person who isn't the one killing the beastie's in that area

Tbh, don't take what half the scrubs on GW think/say seriously. Just be strong.

If he screwed up a run, it didn't cost you anything, apart from 15-20mins.

Take note of those players and simply don't play with them again, Immature ppl are everywhere not just in a game.

No it was mine because I killed the foe!! Its not like GW is a team game or anything where drops should go to every team member not just me with my l33t skillz!!!

Seriously I don't get this either, one second people complain they can't get PUGs then complain about having to play with immature people.

To be honest, the guy should have picked it up faster, it takes 10 mins for an item to become unassigned, so tough luck... And tbh 1 ecto, are you serious? Waste of conset imo...

I'd say stop playing PUG in elite areas.
Or just accept that your PUG team can fail.

Not all PUGs are bad, I've had a lot of fun with them, even recently in Urgoz's.
However, it's very possible someone makes a mistake or gets bored and does something crazy.
If you can't live with that do speed clears with your guild or alliance if they are willing to do that. If not, find a guild that does just that. There should be plenty around....

leeching an ecto is when you kill a foe who drops an ecto for someone else close by.
It doesn't take ten minutes for anything.

Ahhhh, misread, thought the guy was talking about a necro taking an item that was at first assigned to one of the sins... My bad

wtf I don't get it.

If an ecto is assigned to Player A, but Player B killed the monster, why the hell should player B get it? It's assigned for a reason?
