You are a Chamber sin in the UW SC and you've had an ecto leeched by either a necro or the vale sin who then refuse to give it back, probably since they feel that:

2 -> it has their name on it in big white letters
What do you do? Pull Aatxes on the labyrinth reaper and get everyone killed and fail the run on purpose, or so it would seem. I've had 2 runs in 2 days where the Chamber sin has had an argument with the vale team and then wiped the ENTIRE run out of malice.
WTF? Are you so immature that you are willing to ruin 15 to 20 mins of hard work by 6 ~ 7 ppl OTHER THAN YOU, just so you get an ecto (which is at most) worth 5k? Even though you are probably guaranteed of getting atleast 1 ecto, possibly 2 from the UW chest when you do get it?
I propose 2 things...
1 -> dont ever take those immature gits down there with you.
2 -> if you DO get leeched, have an iota of consideration for the other people who are not involved in this great tragedy and just stfu for 5 mins till you get your damn chest.

Actually, I was the Mtns terra who was on Plains doing 4 horsemen when he wiped us. I'm pissed because we all got wiped for no fault of ours.

Or just accept that your PUG team can fail.
Not all PUGs are bad, I've had a lot of fun with them, even recently in Urgoz's.
However, it's very possible someone makes a mistake or gets bored and does something crazy.
If you can't live with that do speed clears with your guild or alliance if they are willing to do that. If not, find a guild that does just that. There should be plenty around....

But imo... if the item was assigned to the necro, it's his/her item, he shouldnt give it back.
Its the same, as if you were saying, " I hit that foe the last time, so the goldie he dropped should be assigned to me, now gimme! "

Since when do you have to give drops to the person who kills or tanks anyway. I've cleared UW many different ways in groups of various numbers and the drops always go to who they were dropped for. The only exception are the 50/50 55/SS runs and spider runs (depending on who is doing the run).
Also if you don't get your drop before time expires then tough luck to you.

this whole issue seems like a non-starter. If an ecto drops and it has someone elses name on it then OH WELL thats how it works out. I have never thought of pictching a fit over a drop for gods sake.
now it would be different if you are in a protracted battle and things begin to unassign. then i believe you have a right to the loot that dropped for you. ive seen this happen MANY times in glints challenge. i dont run around grabbin my drops while tryin to make time in the challenge. therefore they unassign sometimes. then some little craphat grabs the cores on ya.

He was in an UW 'speed clear', each team member, and maybe a couple of leeches (in it for the end chest only, possibly a pre-pay for HM statue.) are assigned certain 'zones' to clear.
Normally, no one shows on each others radar, so ALL drops in that 'zone' belong to the solo sin ect....
The OP is angry, because someone skimmed into his radar when the ecto dropped, thus not in the SF sins name.
I think me gets it, and my gawd man....it was only 1 ecto...><

I do agree that elite areas should only be done with guildies/alliance/friends. However; UW in its current status with complete runs in under 15 min hardly qualifies as an "elite area". It's kinda hard to get a full team of people you know and trust when you do 34 UWSC back to back like Mara does.

Ive been into this situation, if i get a Ecto from an Aatxe or Dryder that the Chamber sin killed there is no way in hell i give it away to the chamber sin , who might have done the work, But as Fenix said , its assigned for a reason
and if you're willing to wipe the party for a ecto(3-5k) you are a really sad person.

A) Do speed clear in under 15 min
Or
B) Do a quasi balanced team run in around an hour.
If you're going for what's "worth" more I would say UWSC are way more profitable. Now which one you enjoy more is an entirely different argument and a matter of personal preference.
I do agree tho, you should do most SC with ppl you trust coz that will reduce the chance of this kind of immature behavior let alone the chance of a failure.

There's a drop order... suck it up. Playing for 1 ecto is meanial, especially when you do it day in day out. That sin probably got more than just that one ecto that day.. Consider it an acceptable loss.

And the answer is simple: Get your guildies to join you in runs. Don't have any? Join a guild. Don't have many in your guild? Get a bigger one (either through recruiting or leaving and finding a bigger one).
A guild member can be punished in guild for their idiocies (unless the idiot is the guild master, in which case find a new guild)
Point is, be carefull who you group with. About a year and a half ago, I had a gold elemental sword drop for me, died, then the group I was with refused to res me and stole it as soon as they could.

Your argument would make sense if the OP did 1 UW run a week announced beforehand on the guild status/website. But when UWSC are as natural to you as clicking your TV remote, this argument no longer holds true.
