I feel like being nice, for the next month I want everyone to post here who u have recently helped and what you did for them the person who not exactly did the most but sticks out to me the most will get the eternal and what would you do with the eternal if you won!

We helped each other, and whenever someone of us got a GvG - we always pm'ed each other I where on the edge to stopping GW, after beeing in a PvE guild, and noone accepted lowranks pvpers, but he gave me a chance, and toghetere im pretty sure we have around 120gvgs~ under our belt toghetere

I've helped a lot of people, not sure who, but lots. When I get heavy on gold/green inventory, I like to go to low-level areas and give stuff away, preferably Ascalon or Kamadan. Not in an obnoxious, self-ingratiating way like shouting, "first one who 'finds' me gets a such-and-such", but in a casual way in local chat like, "giving away gold such-and-such to a level 12 and under <class who can use such-and-such>". I've emptied loads of gold q9 (and others) in this way. I love the positive comments and what seems to be genuine happiness that those who get the item feel, I figured the 200-300 gold (or 1-2k per green) that I could have gotten for these items doesn't compare to the increased potential that new players have from maxed weapons and hopefully it instills a sense of giving in them. I know this is just a game, but it is also a good life lesson. While seemlingly selfishly-altruistic, I figure the circle might come round. If it does, cool. If not, cool. Anyway, since you haven't specified the type of eternal it is (bow/shield/blade), I might actually give it away one day, too if I were to get it. Cool contest, btw...and gl to all those hoping to get it.

Well wheni started Gw, i went alone from guild to guild and didnt know what was what till around a year later. I was in a guild *cant remember tag because iv been in so many
* and i slowly accumulated money not to a pooint to get fow armor but good enough.Roughly around 300k. i was told i was one of their top members and was in sight for a promotion to officer. as 2 weeks passed i was waiting for the day iw ould log on to be seen on the guild list as officer. I checked i was still a member and that there was only 15 people left. * an officer went on a kick run and kicked off 70 members * I was told that also the guild leaders account was hacked and that was how so many members were kicked. Not many others in the guild were finacially gifted as i was and feeling kinda sad as i started to know the leader through TS i donated 250k on my 300 or so to himi so he could at least restart his character with good armor and weapon sets. I later left because I just wanted to restart in another guild but we were talking still later as friends until he decided to leave gw because he was bored with it.
As for what I would do with the r8 eternal... ATM im in YaRR( necrid pirates) *lux* and we are speculating on a community party on a special weekend or event. Im looking to lead the event and have lots of goodies already piled up. If i was to win i would sell the sword... BUT NOT TO USE THE MONEY FOR MY PLEASURE but use it for the party and re-distribute it back fairly to the community in forms of z keys, prizes, materials, booze, sugar, party items that ill give away.

I know this isn't as good as other's givings, but it's worth a shot. Well, Ive never really been into guildwars that much, for im not very good at it, but i play it to have fun or when im really bored. Sure, ive gotten to level 20 in a couple of characters, but i have never even owned over 40k at one time (32k i think is my highest). Well, when im bored and just sitting in an outpost i always see these people charging outrages prices for runs. For example, in the desert area, people charge up to 500g a stop. I think to my self how some of these people only have as much money as i do (my avg. is about 8k) and how a run can really dig into their pockets. So whenever i dont plan on doing anything with my money (almost always, lol) and i dont need anymore money, i always run people for free. Sure i do charge when i need money, but i only charge 300g for each mission, and stops are free due to the fact that they are all pretty much on the way. So thats my way of giving back to the community, and if you ever need a run in the prophecies campaign, just hit me up. IGN = Ranger Man Man Man.
Also: I would use the eternal and probably never sell it. If i ever stoped playing Guild Wars, then I would give it to someone.

I usually randomly go to Ascalon or Kamadan and yell "helping newer players" and get pm's. I find a new player and teach them loads about the game and usually buy their first armor set or weapon. I've done this with probably 5 or more people and it's really fun for me.
I don't neccesarily give them 10k or anything, just help them out and learn the ropes. I give them knowledge that is more valuable than just giving a newer player a gold.

during wintersday i gave free money and items to random players at ascalon city and lion arch to bring up the wintersday spirit even to forners who dont celebrate xmas. In addition i helped players to understand how winterdays event work hence when i firstly played i missed the event, items and fun since i didnt know how to manipulate the events traders. Secodly i also took people from pre to the xmas event so they could participate. By this i helped people to join the xmas event and help them gain more friends and fun i made few friends. I think i desreve the sheild hence giving is most important to people who give also.

I collect weapons.. lots of them.. I also chest run and farm excessively. So if I get something like a perfect stat weapon that I don't want and don't feel I have time to sell, I go to Ascalon and select active district. (usually 2 or 3 american) and Just go around looking for low level players and give out max gold perfect stat weapons till I'm all out. I figure I don't need the 2-5K i could get or even 10K considering it will take me days to sell it. So I remember a long time ago when I was new a guy gave me a gold Cesta with max stats and it was req 10 i believe. I was so stoked and it made me so happy to have something gold and all that jazz.. So I figure, if I can make another person who is just out of presearing feel that same way then I have done something decent.
Depending on what it is, I'd probably keep it and use it. Lookin for r8 eternal and magmas, so.. that'd be one of two shields.

well i created a guild once about 2 years ago and me and my gf use to play on the same account.
i already had some nice titles most npcs on the guild hall good members and i gave the account to my gf then i bought a new 1 for me ,then about 4 months ago we both got hacked (not only on gw might have been some kind of key logger, /formated hdisk) i had 2 mini kunnas unded both i was 1 title away from r3 koabd had 3 elite armours on my account,gf had ele fow + 2 other elite armours and everything got deleted guildies where kicked guild got deleted too.
back when i had lots of un needed items i grabbed my assasin and went to shing jea ( i actually did this the last time i had all my goodies ,then the next day afthis i was hacked) so when i went to shing jea i randomly added people to my party and told them it was a drop party so what i used to do was shadow sepping running arround linnok courtyard droppping tomes,elite tomes ,gaki summons and i also dropped req9 zodiac daggers) i use to run alot of vs farming and i remember alot of poeple knew my assasin his name was: i i i sub zero i i i remember people gave me good comments cause i rarely failed at vs farming runs( i really need to remake my assasin i had vabbian top and legs shing jea boots ice gloves and mask of the mo zing ,omg i loved this combination i miss my old main on picture i think ima qq)

so right now we just got back on lvling up chars re started the guild we have been helping each other out re doing everything is not fun at all ,but some guildmates are back to the guild now they have supported us just as we supported them in the past.
this past canthan event was very helpful gf got 3 mini oxes :P so we got some armours and extra stuff whit that we also did a small event whit the few guildmates we have atm gave away items worth like 20k total but it was a lil fun other than just getting a prize. anyways if i would get your shield as a prize i think i would sell it ( as much as i would like to keep it) but i would spend the money on GH npcs this way it will benefit every guild member cause it really bothers me(and others) to go to other guild halls to use their npcs :/ .
and it would actually help to get more attention for newcomers to stay in the guild cause whe are like 15 members( few are active) and we do need some more activity
btw :who ever gets this item i hope you will use it for a real good benefit( i think some are just here cause they are greedy) i can prove my story is actually true sending a guild invite.

Well, for the last month, I've been farming/running CoF and giving money to my best friend to help him get obsidian armor, as payback for him helping me to get mine. Also, I gave a couple free Sanctum, Droks, and Citadel runs.

These days the biggest help I provide is Matty's Guild Wars Multi Loader Link removed by moderator which I estimate a few thousand people use to play multiple accounts on 1 computer on the same time.
As for what I'd use it for... It depends on the item type, but most likely one of my characters will end up using it. It'll just be nice using something that looks good for once.

Well i was recruiting for my guild and I found this guy in Shing Jea Monastary and i recruited him. I found out he was fairly new to the game. He keft asking me how do i do this and how did you do that. Well i got kinda mad because of that BUT i said to myself. We where all once level 1 and new to this game. We all didnt know how to do stuff and had to ask other people. Well i decided to help out this kid with his stuff. I helped him with his builds and i gave him some armor materials. He soon later quit the guild but it felt good helping someone.

I think his name was Goose GB or Goose UK, but he was very new to mmo, so I spent a few hours going through the basics. This was proving hard, so I deleted one of my own chars to be at the same level, and quested him through nightfall to get him to the docks to get max armor. I then gave him all the materials to get the armor plus the gold he needed to, and the runes and insignias. I then explained what they did, and took my forgotten sword and shield from one of my heroes on another char that I don' really play, and gave it to him, so he was completely kitted out.
Now, what would I do if I won? A little bit selfish possibly, but I'd keep the eternal for my main character, and give away whatever weapon it replaced. That way two people would be happy.

Hmm well, i've never really had much cash. Or good items, but i always give away when people need something. I use to do doa, and the few braces i got, i sold right away, and bought 9 shields, a mini pet, and kurzick 1.5 armor, and elite rogue armor (spelled correctly?) for mesmers dyed white with runes and what not on it for a friend. basically everything i made from doa i spent on friends. But recently in the past few months, lets see.. well, i've farmed about 25ish stacks of Gargoyle Skulls for a friend so he could finish his drinking title. Any of you who have farmed these before.. lol you'll know how boring and tedious it is. So i farmed those for him to help out. when the winter holiday came, i did the polar bear run every day to try to farm a mini bear for a friend because he really wanted one. sadly, the cute little critter avioded me every tiem 
that was kidna depressing lol. also for the winter holiday, i gave away all my sweets and party items that i got during the many polar bear runs (of which i never got one in *sigh* still depressing) to a friend so he could max his titles for that. and for the celestial event this year, i tried to win the same friend a roller beetle, but i kept getting knocked down lol. i wasn't a very good racing beetle. also was rather depressing. i also gave away the two mini ox's i got to some friends. and gave away my lunar tokens so they could try their luck. yesterday i did a few free shiro runs on my ele for people because i hate when people make others pay for stuff like that. it's selfish. sure it's only 1-2k per run, but still, sometimes when you're new to a campaign or trying to build a character, that's hard to hold on to when you have no way for income. and i also gave away a fiery dragon sword i had lying in storage from a while back for a new monk to start 55'ing. basically, i always try to do w/e i can to help out. if anyone asks for help on missions or just with w/e i help. i haven't done much for anyone lately other than what i just said, but atleast i know what i did for them made them happy. and atm, i'm trying to save up to buy a mini island guardian for the same friend i tried to win/farm the other two mini's for lol. i only have 18k atm though.. even though i'd love to get myself a mini panda. but panda can wait for after i somehow save up enough for the i.g. wish me luck!!!! i'll need it lol. and wowo sorry i typed so much, i've been told i talk to much, i think they are correct
and if i were to somehow actually win something for once, i'd probably keep it and use it untill someone needed a weapon for something, then i'd pass it on and let them have it to use
that was kidna depressing lol. also for the winter holiday, i gave away all my sweets and party items that i got during the many polar bear runs (of which i never got one in *sigh* still depressing) to a friend so he could max his titles for that. and for the celestial event this year, i tried to win the same friend a roller beetle, but i kept getting knocked down lol. i wasn't a very good racing beetle. also was rather depressing. i also gave away the two mini ox's i got to some friends. and gave away my lunar tokens so they could try their luck. yesterday i did a few free shiro runs on my ele for people because i hate when people make others pay for stuff like that. it's selfish. sure it's only 1-2k per run, but still, sometimes when you're new to a campaign or trying to build a character, that's hard to hold on to when you have no way for income. and i also gave away a fiery dragon sword i had lying in storage from a while back for a new monk to start 55'ing. basically, i always try to do w/e i can to help out. if anyone asks for help on missions or just with w/e i help. i haven't done much for anyone lately other than what i just said, but atleast i know what i did for them made them happy. and atm, i'm trying to save up to buy a mini island guardian for the same friend i tried to win/farm the other two mini's for lol. i only have 18k atm though.. even though i'd love to get myself a mini panda. but panda can wait for after i somehow save up enough for the i.g. wish me luck!!!! i'll need it lol. and wowo sorry i typed so much, i've been told i talk to much, i think they are correct and if i were to somehow actually win something for once, i'd probably keep it and use it untill someone needed a weapon for something, then i'd pass it on and let them have it to use

I mean, if we could all remember when we were little, lvl 1 noobs with minimum armor and white weapons, we'd probably give a little compassion.
Now to what i do. Sometimes, not always, i try to spread spirit and after doing a mish with a group, ill give an ecto or two to everyone who stays. And i man, you should see the reactions. Most are like "OMGosh! Thats like 5k!!!! And i mean, its not giving all your money away, but its a lot to them ,whether its a lot to you or not. After that, i usually say "good luck" or "have fun", then leave. And that probably gives them more than u think. I remember when i was that unwealthy, 10k was a fortune, so to many of us, 10k seems like "eh 10k hmph what a joke", but it means more to them, and it makes you feel good, like you caused a lot of happiness through a little gift.
And i'd use 2/3's of money for a majorly awesome drop party for my guild

Teaching my friend(s) how to play Guild Wars.
Now, it may not cost money, tons of ectos, blah blah blah, but teaching people is hard. I spent atleast a dozen hours with a few of my new friends just going through those new missions. It is very tedious and boring, and the questions seem like they couldn't get much dumber. I've given them my rare weapons to help them out, money & cash for armor, runes, skills, everything, and in the end money isn't really what makes me feel good to give away. Just the fact that in the end its better to play with a great friend on Guild Wars, and to always have that sense of proudness like, "yeah, I helped him". And then when I see them go and make their own guilds and do PvP i'm glad I helped them start.
Recently, i also gave 20k to a friend who's getting elite druids. I also gave 45k and a mini ox to a friend (25k of that to get a runner for his last HM dungeon). Then I gave 20k and 3 ectos to a friend for his birthday, then a black dye to another friend.
If I were to get eternal, it would ultimately depend on which one it is. If its one I need I might use it for a while, but eventually I would sell it and keep most of it, and give quite a bit to my favorite guildies (who always beg me for stuff anyways D: )

i .. have been helping newcomers start up like um, sponsoring them with basic equipments, teaching them some tactics e.g. map zoning, teaching them some basic skills to survive in GW and made friends with em.
i'd start up a guild solely to help people . like a charity but its for helping out people who have financial problems but the money would be earned by me , i'd not ask others to donate for money because i want .. i want to help others like how others helped me when i started GW.

I've helped over 250 people get max armor. Paid for armor cost and materials. Also ran many places for free.

Hmm lets see here...Probably the nicest thing that I do for people is run Imperial Sanctum (last factions mission) in both HM and NM for free. I cant believe people actually charge for that run, its absurdly easy. Anyways, it doesnt really take any time out of my day, and it helps people who are stuck with what is technically a hard mission.
As for what I would do with said eternal, sell it unless it was a bow, I really like the bow. Anyways Id sell it and probably buy me and my buddy some decent equipment.

I Had a freind named kranos of helgrind he was awesome he helped me with everything since i statred playing gw we have been best freinds when i statred he gave me a torm sheild didnt know wat it was but he helped me beat every campagin aweosme guy to this day since hes had all his money he quit gw he gave me about 1000k worth of ectos cash and weps an one day i get back on hes on so to this day i gave him everything he gave me back at the begging since i started ign bvone smasher

I would like to tell you about a guy named Bear Reinforced. This one deserves to be acknowledged for his kindness to all. He will help anyone...any time...with anything. He drops what he is doing no matter what to help others. His inventory is pretty much everyone's...if he has something and knows someone needs it or just wants it he gives it to them. I have seen him give some pretty amazing things away. He never ever expects anything in return. This is the kind of player that deserves to be rewarded.
