Your Sabway/Discordway variations...

I like this discordway:
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/User:DarkS...s_Discord_Spam
..except that using this skill set on a caster is very energy intensive, unless you are playing a necro as your character:
[build prof=?/A deadlyarts=12][Assassin's Promise]["You Move Like a Dwarf!"][Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support]["Finish Him!"][Optional][Optional][Optional][Optional][/build]
Replacing the animate shambling with blood ritual really works better for non-necro casters in order to dish out this deadly combo more effectively.
Using this discordway with RoJway works very well for me.
Compared with the pvx official version, I dont like a 3s minion skill placed on my primary healer because of corpse competition. Instead of giving you the heals when you need it, your healer may spend 3s trying to exploit a corpse and having it being wasted as it became exploited by another necro. Also too much minion dependencies means if you encounter a boss with high AoE damage, your minions can still be wiped out quickly. SoLS is more reliable for energy + life gain.

Yes i heard about that AoE problem but we didn't really have it, usually the 2nd player does take some skills ofcourse because leeching isn't that fun, but without the skills death nova blows the boss to death anyway, plus barbs + 30 minions deals a lot of damage, tried it at master of damage got around 69k damage in 3 minutes with just barbs + the minions, it's a very fun build to play around with, i just posted it because it worked for me in alot of areas, the only hard one really was the Djinn boss but well PI sorta took care of him because AoE + 30 targets means 2400 damage which kinda blows him up instantly
if u want to see it in action in some area just pm me ingame it really works
<< IGN
And my healer would be either another hero, the empty 6th slot, or master of whispers, he just spams blood of the master and heals effectively, although hero AI might heal the minions but yes, in general we didn't fail, well ofcourse we had some deaths but not a complete whipe , just flag masters a bit back so he stays out of harms way and put him on avoid, your good to go hehe

Perhaps you can in your build, in a corpse heavy area, but if you are using shamblings you probably would not get 30 minions without bringing BoTM because of the higher recharge. There are also some monsters with holy damage like the afflicted monks with RoJ, they can wipe a minion army quickly because they are undead. But I generally agree, in a corpse heavy area, having multiple MMs can be powerful.

I plan to caravan VQ tyria with:
AP/MoP caller 2 discord healer/MM 1 RoJ prot with SOH 2x melee hencies and 1-2 healers (haven't decided, depends how good other henchie bars are ) Gigashadow
What damaging henchies do people tend to use? I used to use melee henchies, which worked well when I ran a paragon support hero. However, in EoTN, the fire and earth eles are actually quite good. However, in the other campaigns they kind of suck. I liked Zho for interrupts in Cantha.
Now I'm just left with Vanquishing prophecies (ugh) and am wondering which henchies tend to work out the best. DeVerseBakker
Yes but you also have optional slots on your own bar which is to keep masters alive you could take PI yourself. Plus not everyone uses a 2nd account so it could not work for your personal situation put for others it could.
I prefer taking Animate Bone minions because of the recharge that's why i took it over Shambling, but i assume you realized that when you read the entire post. And the good part of the build is also that you do not need corpse heavy areas because you can just recreate your army by bipping after you lost all of them it might be more time consuming as Discordway but it's a nice variant for it. And you would be surprised how well my build did against Afflicted Monk i easily vanquished Sunjiang district with it and more city areas in Cantha. It generally just works pretty well and the reason i posted it is because people might want a change of the discordway and it's a fun build to use which might even take less work as discordway with AP and YmLaD all you have to do is recast PS and HB every 30? seconds and well then you generally are done on your bit. cyber88
Just popping by to get some opinions. weapon of warding vs nightmare weapon. which should i take?
Omgopolis
I don't see any reason to take nightmare weapon, so weapon of warding. If you're looking for some damage from a weapon spell though, splinter weapon is pretty sexy.

I've always wanted to change up the minion bomber's skillset, since the core of a bomber is just two skills; Animate Bone Minions + Death Nova. The other skills that are used to fill out the bar are "ok" but not amazing. Putrid Bile is pretty meh given its recharge, Foul Feast got nerfed, etc.
I experimented with a Rt/Mo channeling/smiter and found that the new strength of honor is quite insane. However, the Rt/Mo suffers from the problem of having to use the lackluster Offering of Spirit and Castigation Signet for energy management, as well as being hard to fit into a hero slot if you also want a N/Rt healer, a minon bomber, AND a curses/prot necro. So instead, I put smiting on the minion bomber, which fills out what otherwise feels to me like a lackluster bar. Here is what I used: 10+1+1 Death 8+1 Soul Reaping 12 Smiting Animate Bone Minions Death Nova Strength of Honor Smite Hex Smite Condition Reversal of Damage Signet of Lost Souls Empathic Removal {elite} I tried this out today and was extremely happy with how fast things exploded with it. The other heroes I used with it were a N/Mo curses/prot, and the standard N/Rt resto with splinter weapon. This was a first experiment so I'm interested in tweaking it. For example, tweak the attributes to put more into soul reaping? A better elite? Can Reversal of Damage be replaced? Try to fit a low-spec prot spell on there? Note, this may not be that great for you unless you are a warrior. My playstyle is to run in with Enraging Charge, put up FGJ right before hitting the first target, get Save Yourselves! up asap if there's going to be incoming AOE damage on the party, then followed by Brawling Headbutt, sun and moon slash, Finish Him!, first target dead. Everything else has taken a lot of damage already, and I've been smite hex'd/smite condition'd/splinter weapon'd off. This is what I run on my warrior bar. Pretty standard stuff: Brawling Headbutt Finish Him! Sun and Moon Slash Dragon Slash Save Yourselves! Flail Enraging charge For Great Justice! S&M slash, in addition to triggering strength of honor twice and two charges of splinter weapon rapidly, is great for getting around block stances/aegis/wards that often get put up when mobs get low on health. That's usually enough to get those annoying mobs to a point where they are killed off by "Finish Him!". edit: Fixed death magic attribute, should be 10+1+1 not 12+1+1 Gigashadow
Oops yeah my bad on the attributes, I actually have 12 (10+1+1) death, 12 smiting, 8+1 soul reaping. I figured that a lower minion count/minion level didn't matter that much for a bomber who is cycling them, and that I could live with slightly lower death novas.
I will try out Foul Feast instead of SoLS, it's much better utility overall, although I don't know if he will be able to keep up his energy this way. It does have the positive that I will then be able to put him on Avoid Combat instead of Guard mode. If I didn't run minions on this hero slot, I'm not sure yet what I would use instead (maybe use curses instead of death, and replace the curses/prot necro with something else with some prot?). The 2 skill slot/10 attribute investment for death is a pretty good return on investment for me, in terms of making things die faster. Daesu
I have been meaning to add a damage-based MM as a secondary MM to accompany my discord team. This is what I came up with and it has worked well for me so far.
[build prof=N/Mo death=12 sou=11 hea=6][Aura of the Lich][Animate Bone Fiend][Putrid Bile][Death Nova][Resurrection Chant][Signet of Lost Souls][Cure Hex][Dwayna's Sorrow][/build] ...feel free to replace the res if you dont like res chant. My primary discord MM: [build prof=N/Mo death=12 sou=9 pro=9][Discord][Animate Bone Minions][Putrid Bile][Death Nova][Signet of Lost Souls][Protective Spirit][Aegis][Vengeance][/build] ...again feel free to replace the res. FF/Recovery is carried by another necro. Paul Dawg
I tend to bring two healer henches in HM (one heal and one prot, if possible) because I don't mind trading some firepower for a third healer.
