No to undead bones. He'll be in an explorable, not a dungeon.

That doesn't mean he can't collect them. :P He's collected Chromatic Scales, and while those drakes can be found in Arbor Bay, they're much easier to farm in the Battledepths.

Do people not care about Nick as much as they used to? When he first started appearing, people would find his location in 15-20 minutes. Now its taking over an hour for people to find him. Are less people searching for him now?

True enough. I just looked up the previous items he has requested and see Gloom Seed, for example, and they're not in an 'explorable' per se.

Is it possible for him to wander into someplace like the ooze pit (standing right next to Bellyshaker and wanting blobs of ooze of course)?

Remember he collected gloom seeds, so undead bones are possible.

Absolutely...I remember that trip to FoW (an Elite Area)...so it is possible Nicholas will want things from anywhere including a dungeon.

I don't think that Nicholas will actually be located in a dungeon or an elite area...but he might require a collectible from any of those areas.

With the Gloom Seeds (only found in the Fissure of Woe Elite Area), Nicholas was actually located in The Falls...not in the FoW. So he might ask for Blobs of Ooze or Undead Bones but he won't be in the location where they are found.

I don't put anything past ArenaNet when they decide on Nicholas requirements each week. But historically, Nicholas locations have only been in regular explorable areas.

I hope this week is a breeze again, was not a good week for the farmers and traders but saved me lot's of time and grinding.

Plus, I don't think it would be fair to put Nick in an area that requires Favor in order to go there....

Orsm, another nice-an-easy farm. More GW playtime for me!!

I am hoarding my presents atm, more than 300 now... not sure if I must keep or sell or open.
...things / the economy can change pretty dramatically in the next few weeks to a month with all the skill / balance changes coming...

Very easy farming. I just farmed the devourers outside Druid's Overlook. Got 10 fast. Got crap from Nick though.

When you do the math on how many people are prob farming nick every week, that means there are (prob 10 or so) out every week. That means there are hundreds of them in the game, way more than rare pets like island guardian, mini polar and others.

Ok Ok..there are 100 of them? so 100/8225...still hard to have them, so i dont understand why they worth 50k....

Even if they are desirable and somewhat rare - the price shows there's not much demand.

Maybe because a brown rabbit is just "meh".

Or maybe because if anyone wants one... they can afford to wait. Over time, they become increasingly common and cheap, because Nicholas hands out lots of new ones every week. They can also try to get one for free from Nicholas themselves for (usually) very little effort.

More than just 100, he did say hundreds. It's a gold mini, and will logically drop more often than a green, like other pets such as Yakkington and Gwen Doll.

Yes, any item in the game that increases in number in time is going to drop in price and demand (look at how far everlasting tonics have dropped. They used to be like 600k). Mini's like Kuunavang or Destroyer are going up in price because as people drop out of the game there are less and less around.
