well if he's not in Kryta my guess is Cantha. He seems to like Cantha and my guess he was traveling to Lion's Arch because of the docks. He has no reason to travel to the jungle.

There is a quest in marga coast just outside sunspear sanc, near elder jonah. There is a guy called chuno there. You firstly need to do that quest where you capture the drake. And then the "feed toma" quest.

After that, you need to repeat feeding toma 15 times, for 15 berries.
