It is possible to get 3 branches a run with a saccer and 2 MMs. Don't take henchies, just you and 3 necros.

I used 3 saccing Necro's, while 4 Guildmates were just twiddling their thumbs. Maximum profit for minimal effort.

I found it faster to use 3 monks plus myself a warrior and just run around killing stuff. The monks keep Toma and me alive. I help take down his target to a certain point and then switch targets, until most of the enemies in the area are fairly low and Toma can just eat them all. Managed to get 3 berries most of the time.
I couldn't manage my heroes well enough to get the minions thing to work, and toma couldn't kill them fast enough.

You must do a few quest before you get access to Insatiable Appetite quest. And one of them require Koss.

But I was using a lv 11 Koss with Unyielding Aura and Healing Signet, Restful Breeze. My necro with BiP and Minions. Livia with BiP and Minions. I'd just kill myself, have Livia make minions, UA rez me, livia kill herself, me make minions, UA livia, kill myself, repeat repeat. Made 48k off the Berries hahaha.

How do you keep Elder Jonah from running over and trying to heal the saccer or the minions? Chuno is well within Jonah's range. Using the BotM saccing technique suggested in an earlier post, I had to position the party outside the gate before raising the first minion or Jonah would follow and heal me enough to prevent me from saccing, slowing things up tremendously. I generally got one branch, though a couple of times I got 2 when Toma was feeling especially cooperative.

I've been getting 10 consistently with about 10-15 sec leftover using 2 healer hench and the paragon hench...I play a ranger with the following on my bar:
[Pain Inverter][Radiation Field][Dwarven Stability][Escape][Lightning Reflexes][Distracting Shot][Savage Shot][Whirling Defense]
I use [escape] to get to the quest (and back to zone quickly) and to run quickly between the mobs. The interrupts are there for the stoneflesh mandragor's [Stoneflesh Aura]+[Stone Sheath]...once those get off, it takes an extra 5-7 sec to kill one with this team. Be sure to get the mob of 3 mandragors near the rock outcrop north of the rez shrine in the corner. GL
EDIT: I just found out the crocodile eats that mob of kournans too, so 13-14 would be easy to do with this setup - but really no point unless you can get 15

Brett use the technique I mentioned on page 27. I get around 3 juni berries each 3 minutes. Sometimes i get bad luck and only get 2, but it's usually 3. My last 15 came from 5 runs.

Well, this is annoying. Not the farming the quest thing; I've got an ele in the middle of NF anyway (and I'd been meaning to pick up some berries for her incubator kit). But this totally throws off all our calculations:
a) He's not cycling by plot, clearly, or he'd be in Kryta/the Maguuma. So his location truly is "random", at least in terms of predictions.
b) He doesn't just collect collector items or mats. (Though this does confirm something I said a while back, when I suggested that he might collect those quest items you can get a ton of for no good reason, like Swamp Flowers)

I have to say this is so much fun ^^. Thinking of builds to do things such as PvP and farm is about 90% of the fun of Guild Wars. Kudos to ANet for recognizing and responding in kind. Getting the berries is a pain in the u know what but I had not been this into build work in about a year.

My minions were dying anyway, Toma wasn't killing fast enough, so I was making 5 minion batches, but this is even better, making 2 minions and saccing.
I got 3 berries on my second try, 2 on my first try when I got to 13.

I'm actually really impressed by the concept behind what you've had to collect just in three weeks - the designers have really put some thought behind getting people to revisit areas, and revisit or discover for the first time certain game mechanics.
Week One - collecting something directly related to game lore.
Week Two - teaching material crafting/discovering ways to farm material (fibre or linen)
Week Three - discovering the mechanics of repeatable quests.
I think it's totally cool that even 4 years later there's rewards for long time players, AND things put in place to teach newcomers.
Rock on Linsey and team.

I told you, to get over 15 use my or one of the other minion methods on the past few pages. You will be able to get over 15 almost every other time.

Also, I agree with Serenity above - I hadn't thought of it that way myself, but it's correct and it's also a really great way to try to reintroduce people to things in the game they may not have done before.

I also planned on obtaining 30 berries - but, as you nicely pointed out, I only need 15!
