Ice Imps... is it any good to farm em outside Olafstead? I cleared several groups 3 times so far, and none dropped.

Excellent, I have some of these in storage.
Will probably farm the rest outside of Ice Caves.
Edit: Right outside of Ice Caves of Sorrow worked pretty well. Took a generic spirit spam build that anyone can run and it worked well. Watch out for maelstorm and plan accordingly, but other than that you should be ok.

Yeah, well Da Kenster I took out my generic SoS on my Ranger and while I got the drops I also got whipped and beaten, savagely and repeatedly. Sure I should'a used a different farming build. But SoS seems so natural in a situation like this. Stinking Ice Imps.

For an ele, your basic Vaettir build should work - tweak the damage elements (I used Sliver, Radiation Field and and a couple of PBAoEs) however you want and use Mantra of Frost for instead of Earth. NM or HM should be equally easy

Outside ice caves with any SF char will get you the hearts in minutes. I'd reccomend a shadow stepper they don't like to be balled. Take out the walking icelollipops and some nice groups of imps behind them also. I think I got like 18 in my first run.

Tried my old standard Rit SOS farmer build, but spirits died within seconds and was too lazy to experiment with variations including AoU. Instead, used a Vaettir build for my sin.
Found farming outside Ice Caves of Sorrow to be quick, but always had better luck and more Frigid Heart drops farming the imps outside Marhan's Grotto. (There is also more room to ball up the imps.) To save time I would avoid the groups with Pinesouls (or take them out first).

So... we've come full cycle at last. Now to see if he'll pop up in Regent Valley next Monday or if they'll completely randomize his appearances.

It will be interesting to see what happens next week. Seeing as these are the same trophies from presearing, I doubt there will be a shortage, plus they're easily obtainable in post as well. I'm more curious how next week will turn out.

One, err, "Interesting?" farm is to start the Nolani Academy mish, but instead of using the back route, set spirits at the gate, pull the lever and go support the spirits. Takes about a minute. My first five runs got 1, 1, 2, 1, 3 Carvings.

I just farmed all the Charr in Flame Temple Corridor. Then right up to Nick and done.

just did the vanquish for flame temple and dragon's gullet---think I have a few carvings extra from that ....either way I just LOVE killing charr 
so will 'farm' for these anyways

Killed all the Charr in Flame Temple Corridor itself, solo, 18 Carvings first run and 21 Carvings second run (needed 30).
Flame Temple Corridor works fine (it should, cos its filled with loads of Charr).

cleared Flame Temple Corridor once for 27 charr carvings.
Takes about 1 minute to run there and an SoS can clear it in around 10 minutes or less. Used my R/A beastmaster and it only took 13 minutes.

If you want to real fun farming charr take the A/Me echo sin build - Assassin's Promise, Arcane Echo, Ebon Vanguard Assassin. See how many Sins you can maintain at once

I hope it's merely a homage to the first time we met Nick. If everybody knows what to farm for every week things are going to get real boring and there's less profit for those farming the item of the week to sell.

I too am looking forward to see if this is a wrap up of his collecting or the start of the same cycle. On the one hand, I have some trophies saved up if he does repeat, on the other hand, I like the mystery of him spawning somewhere randomly collecting something new. Either way, I will be happy.
