I personally just love this idea. Whoever of the live team came up with it, hats off to you. Why is it so awesome then?
For a people like me who has done about everything in the game @ pve-side and login every now and then, these quests offer new challenges each day. I think it is absolutely great that I can login to game when I have nothing else to do and check out what game has to offer me that day.
If I have understood correctly, there is indeed 3 quest limit per gategory but even then, the quests do stay in the log as long as I abandon them or complete them. Therefore I have all the time in the world to complete the particular quest. I may complete it the same day the quest is offered or alternatively weeks later. Still I can check those quests every day and abandon the old one if new quest seems more appealing.
So this gives people definitely something to do if they are on the mood for it. What's best, this somewhat unites player base. During last two years I have had an impression that everybody prefers doing things H/H. Now I can see people forming again and maybe making new friends with who they can tackle these new quests on a daily basis.
I also like to point out that while rewards seem indeed low (at least for 7,5k coin requirement for biggest wep pack), you shouldn't forget that while doing quests, you get all the drops and also some extra gold from quest rewards. Not to mention all those title points you receive at the same time and also the possibility to complete the hand books for more rewards.
tl;dr: I find these quests to be definately a highlight in helping to keep gw alive and kicking. Optional challenges which change on daily basis are absolutely great add to the game and also help keeping player base tuned in. So thank you.

I was amused when I went to Blacktide Den earlier to do the mission with one of my friends and it dumped me into district 2. I've never been in a mission outpost before that had a district 2. It was awesome how full that place was.

7500 coins roughly...ive done the molotov quest quickly on 9 character that 9*7 = 630.
I didn't consider that quest to be too much grind to be honest over 9 characters. I know alot of people have quite a few characters too...
judging by my calculations it shouldn't take as long as iexpected to get that large bag. Plus we don't know how much ecah quest is going to other until the day...

Indeed, people has started to team up again. I managed to do Deep today, it was just nm, but still. 
We didnt even use a specific build, it felt like a bit in early days when people teamed up together to have fun and it didnt matter what build you had. Now I have the Kanaxxai statue on my new ele aswell.

Only problem I have is people who farmed that GvG quest, I know of at least 2 people that kept remaking pvp chars and winning gvgs for 9k faction + coins ... :S

This happens to pve qeusts and pve people with 5-10 characters ready to go everywhere. They have advantage over "normal" players. Thats why it should be limited per account.

I like that all my characters can do it shame im no good at pvp though because remaking characters seems evil. Maybe only allow the pvp quest to be account wide? i feel sorry for when i wanna go for my kurzick title ...lol 9 characters doin 6 matches...its a great bonus when i go for it

When you have 9 PvE characters ready to go to all areas you will probably also want 9 Equipment bags. So it all evens out.
As long as the Zaishen Coins are untradeable it's ok.

I like the quests a lot too, only bad thing is that I went for Morostav boss hunt after 5 straight AB wins, and took the reward for AB on accident, so missed 100 copper zoins for the bonus

I'm primarily a PvP'er and personally think PvE is pretty boring, however I do geniunely think these quests are fantastic. The mix of PvE/PvP quests was also an excellent inclusion instead of making them only PvE, it brings the community together in a very good fashion and will maybe even generate some interest in the PvP side for a few of the primarily PvE people.

I just do them once each so they are not really grind, plus I am slowly finishing my HM stuff.

I was kinda dubious when i first saw it
but after trying the deep for 4 hours long we managed to a HM run with a great pug and got nice gear. (ow and lots of lux faction o.O 29k in total lol)
I really enjoyed the it for the most part and think it's good implemented this way.
It could even pull some pve'rs to pvp :P
tough it drawed out some idiots as well, "no no don't use shadow meld just die at the door it works" while the only reason the tanks took shadow meld was for that door >..>

I must've gotten the bad crop of the bunch. I gave up trying to party with other people for the Zaishen quests because there a lot of 1) ignorant people, and 2) immature people out there. Random PuGs generate people who know nothing about the missions/areas, or people who act selfish and immature. I eventually settled for doing things in Normal Mode with just H/H. I do hope people get better with this though.

They also copied the token system with Zaishen coins, but managed to implement it nearly half as well.
