Twice, 2 72 hour bans.

I made a fairly offensive name...

and then when Tab and I were holding halls we had some epic shittalking going down, lots of profanity, your mother references, and every racial slur you can imagine.

The only worthy way to get a ban in my opinion.

Got a 72 hr ban once for supposedly buying gold which was really just xfering gold from my 2nd acct. Sent in a ticket with all information proving it was my 2nd acct, ban lifted in about 4 hours. I still didn't get my gold back

How much exactly did you transfer? Ive done 70k + 7 green weaps (back when they were worth something) and didnt get a ban.

I was banned once for racial slurs, I think it lasted 3 days or a week. It was totally worth it ^^.

A friend & I were trolling alliance chat and started calling each other whitey & blacky. We spammed it for a good 2 min, some kid reported us. Anet banned us both like 3,4 months later O.o

Over the course of 4 years I have had 4 72 hour bans 2 perma bans 1 ip restriction(got around that easily

)

1st 72 hour ban- Got pissed at a guild in an alliance joined them and after a month got officer and then 15 days later gl went on vacation and since i was on the most gave me leadership. Where as i kiced everyone and got rid of the guild while he was saying good bye. Banned for Bad intentions.

2nd 72 hour- Swearing in halls while holding someone diddnt like that.

3rd. 72 hour- Talking about the natural occurence between a girl and a guy in allchat.

4th. 72 hour- Evidently izzy diddnt like getting yelled at

1st perma ban- Accused of using 3rd party program. I honestly have only used texmod but i always found it funny when farming to when ever i enter town to type in all chat saying the same thing over and over every time i enter like a bot would and run the same path to the exit everytime. It just seems to annoy/bother some people

2nd perma ban- No clue why this one happend but was reversed 3 days later with a emailed apology from anet.

Ip Restriction- Got yelled at by an admin and told them i was going to go to the Hq and find them. They diddnt really like that >.> <.<

Then she makes me log out if she sees anyone using swears.

To make it worse I cant chat with my GF because my mom thinks its not really a girl, she says its someone fooling me, but she said she loved me and I gave her all my gold.

Then my mom makes me put chat filter on and STILL makes me log when people type dashes -------- and I cant even report them because of this they dont evens say a swears and I cant report, just dashes, and my mom bans me off for the night.

I got banned about 4 times.

First time might have been deserved, I was in RA D1 and this guy was rambling on being racist and I must have got caught up in it because I said a few sexual comments.

Second time was in Grotto I said the N word. I was saying it in a context that wasn't at all racial, but seeing as that word is satan, I got banned for it.

The third time was for having the name Im Bubba. Then going to that mesmer ball and dancing around and stuff, that's about all I did, but since the other people there had the same kind of name and did stuff a bit worse than me, we all got banned. It was a personal ban too because it was their precious mesmer ball, had something to do with Gaile. I contacted support and they apologized to me haha.

4th time was deserved, I was up to my usual grotto antics (Only a few people on guru might know what that is) in Shing Jea and got it.

I try to be more careful now n days. Those were spread out too over the 4 years I've played.

HAHA yeah I read this in all chat in an AB...a tip would be to never say things like "dont say swears or my mom will kick me off" because knowing the gw community you will soon be bombarded by swears and dashes.

Nah thats probably some kiddy reporting you in PVP for beating him. Happened to my friend, he had the name "Matt Inferno" or something like that, and he got banned for an innapropriate name, im sure anet team doesn't even read the names xD

First time was for joining in the insanity at GToB before Anet took it seriously. I'm pretty sure a lot of us got banned b/c we were going crazy. Plenty of off color jokes and other stupidity. I think it was a 72-hour ban but it was worth it.

Second time was for a name that was made before they spelled out their naming policy. I would have voluntarily changed it as I knew I'd eventually get the ban. Another 72-hour for that one. I miss it b/c it was funny and people got a kick out of the pun.

I've probably deserved many other bans for rolling pvp chars with double entendre names. What can I say? I like to make people laugh.
