Have you ever been banned by ANET?

No. I actually know how to compose myself on an online game.

one ban in 4 years playing...raged in all chat in a gvg and said the n-word....they deserved it, but the ban was deserved I suppose.

I never got banned by Anet or whatever but my mom banned me from PvP because people use swears.

Then she makes me log out if she sees anyone using swears.

To make it worse I cant chat with my GF because my mom thinks its not really a girl, she says its someone fooling me, but she said she loved me and I gave her all my gold.

Then my mom makes me put chat filter on and STILL makes me log when people type dashes -------- and I cant even report them because of this they dont evens say a swears and I cant report, just dashes, and my mom bans me off for the night.

I got banned about 4 times.

First time might have been deserved, I was in RA D1 and this guy was rambling on being racist and I must have got caught up in it because I said a few sexual comments.

Second time was in Grotto I said the N word. I was saying it in a context that wasn't at all racial, but seeing as that word is satan, I got banned for it.

The third time was for having the name Im Bubba. Then going to that mesmer ball and dancing around and stuff, that's about all I did, but since the other people there had the same kind of name and did stuff a bit worse than me, we all got banned. It was a personal ban too because it was their precious mesmer ball, had something to do with Gaile. I contacted support and they apologized to me haha.

4th time was deserved, I was up to my usual grotto antics (Only a few people on guru might know what that is) in Shing Jea and got it.

I try to be more careful now n days. Those were spread out too over the 4 years I've played.

I got a 72-hour ban for an inappropriate name. I miss that name

72 hour ban, for spamming. ^^ stupid me... enter up enter enter up enter enter up etc...

I got banned once for 72 hours for swearing in LC.

So, yeah that was deserved

3yrs 10months, no bans...can't say I didn't deserve one or two though.

HAHA yeah I read this in all chat in an AB...a tip would be to never say things like "dont say swears or my mom will kick me off" because knowing the gw community you will soon be bombarded by swears and dashes.

No bans 3 years + playing but then hey i'm a nice guy.

Do you think they should institute titles No bans and most bans account wide of course.

Got a 72 hour ban once for telling someone to shit the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up because they were whining my character had the same first name as theirs. Lol.

Nah thats probably some kiddy reporting you in PVP for beating him. Happened to my friend, he had the name "Matt Inferno" or something like that, and he got banned for an innapropriate name, im sure anet team doesn't even read the names xD

like twice for shit talking in gvg/ha, people really get butthurt that they go trough the trouble of sending a screenshot.

Completely uncalled for. The dude deserved it after dieing in all those faction missions over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Twice.

First time was for joining in the insanity at GToB before Anet took it seriously. I'm pretty sure a lot of us got banned b/c we were going crazy. Plenty of off color jokes and other stupidity. I think it was a 72-hour ban but it was worth it.

Second time was for a name that was made before they spelled out their naming policy. I would have voluntarily changed it as I knew I'd eventually get the ban. Another 72-hour for that one. I miss it b/c it was funny and people got a kick out of the pun.

I've probably deserved many other bans for rolling pvp chars with double entendre names. What can I say? I like to make people laugh.
