I'm sure I've heard much more stupid than this but since I haven't been playing in 2 years, this is all I got. Someone was doing trivia in LA for rewards. One of the questions was who is the dragon under the ice in Drakkar Lake. The "correct" answer was Jormag.
If you're gonna do trivia, get your facts right first. It is not a dragon at all and it sure as hell isn't Jormag, it's a champion of Jormag and it never was given an official name, just a player-made name which was "Drakkar." Someone in chat said basically that yet the guy who won said it was Jormag.

Seems simple enough: one player is using slang ("OS"/"old-school") and the other player doesn't realize that "OS" = "uninscribable". I think that a lot of older players forget that, to anyone who started playing after inscriptions were released, the idea that an uninscribable item is worth MORE than an inscribable item makes absolutely no goddamn sense. Look at the seller's last two lines and tell me that that's NOT what he's trying to say.

Running a dungeon, one of the other players randomly asks if anyone there had ever combined alcohol with <name of sleep medication excised> and mentions they'd apparently acted very out of character as a result. When I pointed out that was a stupid and dangerous action, they asked me for advice. I gave them the best advice I knew, to talk with a doctor and not booze out while medicated, but...

I don't have a screenshot, but I ran into this same player twice last week doing Z-missions. He was leading a group and they had 4/8 in their party.
Leader: GLF need monks only to go!! Z-mission HM!
I saw they had 4/8 so my Elementalist clicked to join....and was rejected. The leader PM'd and said basically "can't you read. We only need healers!"
I wasn't aware that any group needed 4 healers to complete a mission.
I loaded up on heroes and finished. Returned to the same town on my Rit to do the mission again and the same leader was still looking for monks. He now had 5/8 and was still looking for 3 more monks.
