saw someone in LA the other day "WTB +5 energy staff wrappings"... as i tried to inform him that they didn't exist he proceeded to call me a noob along with some other names i won't mention and ignored me.... wonder how long he spammed before he realized i was right.

The other day I was attempting to find a group for Naphui Quarter. The leader was a Warrior and we had a pair of Rits. (I was a Ranger) The leader asks everyone to ping builds, so two of us do. One Rit is SoS. The other Rit tells her to change because "my spirits are better and they do more damage." But he won't show us his build because, accorcing to him. "I don't ping my build because I make pro builds and I don't like to share."

Between yesterday and today. The Deep. American Distrit 1 (w0ot there were 4!)

Form group blablablabla. Damage dealers are eles. I don't say anything, just there to pass the time. Im playing as war.

Attempt 1: I charge into the mob (room1), waiting for the nukes and the healing to come. I see my health slowly going down, until I finally die. I ask the monk & DPS wth was that. Answer: you're the noob, the pull ain't done like that, you have to get a longbow and pull! I say that's stupid, but if they want I'll do it.
Attempt 2: I do it as they ask me, and the monk -who was leader- decides not to heal me. He encourages all the group to die so he can kick me out (something he could've done before the 2nd attempt) because im a noob. I decide not to waste my time anymore and leave.

Funniest thing is that the monk was in DR, had a gold cape and a phoenix emote. He was with some friends -i guess they were also pvpers- that insisted in calling me noob, even tough they thought that echo arcane Meteor Shower was the best thing in the world and they could rollface pve with that. After showing them evidence i was way better in deep than them, they still insisted in calling me noob and telling all the district they shouldn't get me in their groups.


Well, I guess it's what I get for trying to go with people. Talhkora, Xandra and Livia, come back with me!.




There are plenty more anechdotes of this stupidness going on at Deep, like the guy asking for Snaring Water Eles. He also thought he was the wisest man at earth, even after I proved him wrong. Or the guy that kicked me for not bringing a Defy Pain build, that seems to be what all W/A tanks should be running at Deep o0.

I got kicked from a Deep group yesterday becuz I wouldn't run SoS. I told them that since the other rit had SoS it would be pointless.
They flamed me and said that I was a noob for not knowing that the first part was divided into four rooms and that it would be better to have 1 SoS in room one and another in room 4. I asked what they thought would happen when we finished that part and wound up together and the group leader replied "NOOB! You stay behind and kill things behind us!" and then he kicked me out.

I think i was in that group lol.

I've been playing for 3+ years and ive come across quite a few 'fails' in my time playing but none have impressed me more than this:


Was seeking a group for Battle For Lions Arch (im running my Splinter Ranger)
Found a group 7/8 of ALL Ritualists except one warrior who was leader. Apparently the leader thought that ritualists were the best thing to ever happen and wanted 6x spirit spammers/Splinter weapon.
I left.
Roughly 5 minutes later, im still looking for a decent group and they return yelling at each other in All Chat saying that they didn't have enough heals and that their spirits kept dying for no reason.
I literally LOL-ed

I don't know which is more newb-ish. The warrior who thought that all ritualists was brilliant or the ritualists who all agreed to SoS.
