Im curious how you expect support to deal with upwards of 5 million accounts that have no XHT points and have it done in a timely manner?

The last time this happened and points were not awarded you asked us all to send in support tickets, then shortly after they replied and said not so, wait for a patch.

I would love to hear back from you on this Regina. Specifically how the understaffed support team plans on dealing with loads of support tickets.

Please keep in mind this isn't me complaining, I just find it really comical to think about those poor support people.

Firstly, there won't be 'upwards of 5 million accounts' active in the game.

Secondly, there won't be upwards of 500,000 accounts active in game.

THIRDLY, the number is probably in the high tens, or low hundreds of thousands. So if ANet would prefer them to put in support tickets, then it's easier that way.

So tens of thousands of emails to be gone over by how many people? Hmm i have trouble going through my 20 a day lol.

Well there was a patch and I got my hopes up but.. again dissapointed the patch did not address the XTH pts.

Its so strange not only did i not get pts on some accounts, i got different amount of reward pts. eventhough the same predictions were made. I check back to the XTH prediction site and it still had my predictions for May and they were indeed the same for all my accounts yet, i got differing number of pts and some with no pts.>.< go figure. IDK I was thinking I am spending too much time on this game, and well things like this happening almost ever month now it is making my decision to cut down easier. well thats a good thing i guess.

Thanks Regina. This is the 3rd month I've not gotten points. I still have the reference number of my case last month where they promised me my previous 2 months so I'm really hoping they get mine fixed. It becomes very frustrating when you've hit 3 months straight of no points.

Good God...6 accounts (belonging to friends) and they didn't get their points. I'm surprised I got mine. I just emailed Gaile on their behalf as I have no idea where to find the customer support ticket stuff.

But yeah, I can see this is making lots of people angry. The game is getting boring and even with the Zaishen stuff, many people believe it's still grind to get the coins for stuff, and you can only do the same missions over and over for so long before you want to stab your eyeballs out. That combined with updates that are turning into flops doesn't help the community. I hope the game doesn't lose its popularity while awaiting Guild Wars 2, since there are other games out there that could draw their attention.

/agree that i hope they dont lose thier player idk i love guild wars so much but it seems soo hard to have anything go right lately with crappy nerfs(some not all) the tourny points.. its not even that i didnt get them its just annoying that they make us wait this long and they keep saying sorry but that does nothing.. there are so many people that want to quit this game due to incompetence and well as much as i love this game and its been a great 4 year ride these last 3 months have put the nail in the coffin for old mr tutone i hope that anet can get things right or get more .... i guess more competent is the word people to do things that they say will be done.. i know if it was my job and i didnt have anything to show after 3 weeks but and apology id be RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed but i guess anet is more lenient than my boss good luck all

Why can't arena net make the system "faultless", this is becoming "a burden" on everyone, both arena net and its players.

think about it, every month, you need people to make sure everyone gets their point, but the stupid system sucks, and many players don't know what to do to get the points even thou they have participated in the activity provided. if we need to do this email liaison thing every month just to get to those points, what are the possibility that your players are going to stick around after a few months doing it?

I won't be, i can tell you that now, i've got other things like playing other games and more important emails to send and reply

This is the first time I did not get my points but to think that you are still waiting for yours after three months ...... it's not very nice.. at least!

Well I'am really confused, they changed the way you do your predictions to make it easy and this happened, was it really necessary? It was working better before and as they say here: "If it's not broken do not fix it!"

2 of my accounts did not get the points for the past 5 months but the trouble of having to send a support tickets just don't seems like an effort i want, just to get pixels keys

like I say, this is a game, it should not be a burden, it should be mindless clicking, then BAM! there you are, points, and players can go boast about how many points they get, be happy for 10 seconds and go on with their life.

not pen-pal type of email chatters for a few days and waiting for the problem to resolve, this is not a plumbing job or roof leaking

I have 5 accounts that didn't get squat so thats 5 tickets can't we send in all the accounts we have in one report and not 5 or how many accounts you have in separate reports.
Would cut down on the number of tickets open.
Yup as I said before free is free and we shouldn't really complain but it's there to play and make predictions so if it don't work you upset players.

actually it IS a new system as before we had separate accounts and it now uses our game account instead and it also has a random vote button, both things the community asked for and got

My points still stand. New system or not, it's still as buggy as it has been. It's not like the old system was working perfectly and when they made some improvements it becomes buggy (in which case it would be *somewhat* understandable).

I was going to wait till tomorrow to send in tickets but reading other posts on Guru
I went ahead and made 5 separate tickets from the 5 diff emails that I registered with
to make it easer to trace for them or they will have a lot of words and keys to read and sort through lol
I did get 5 replies saying it's unresolved and if i wana add more yada yada yada
the standard 1st reply back we always get.

Can Anet explain or any of you on guru who are more knowlegable on these matters explain why its so hard to code something as simple as this seems to be? To record predictions and distribute pts per a simple set of rules?

Is there a reason why this gets bugged so often? To the average Joe, like me.. intuitively its seems simple to do and thus when ANet seems to have so many problems with it... I get frustrated. Either they(ANet) don't care, they are making it difficult on purpose, they are incompotent, or this code to distribute points is for some reason that difficult. IDK can someone weigh in on why you think ANet seems to have problems with this?

By the way, I think messing up these Pts distributions cause more PR and damage customer satisfaction than skill balancing that is overdue.

*glares at regina*i made a ticket and sent it in. i got the normal(least from what i saw from the old thread about the free pane) respond from a gm. so i guess i did it right. i can only hope iget my points soon. also hope my friend gets his soon too because this isnt the first time he had problems with anet and he is close to quiting gw over this crap.
