Been getting horrendous lag then disconnects yesterday and today. Very unusual for my connection. Err 7's every few minutes. Hard to play this way. I see others reporting similar issues. Regina said they had 'a few people' affected when they did a live update on Thursday. I think more than a few and ongoing.

Bad ping starts at around 100ms, if you care about your performance. Anything above 300 makes the game pointless. Four/five/six-figure lag spikes aren't even worth discussing.

I've never had lag problems like this before. Oh sure, I've had the (very) occasional err7 but since this last update, and Regina's explanations notwithstanding, the game has been basically unplayable for me since the update. Switching servers doesn't help, I go from a green ping indicator to err7 in seconds. reconnect is useless...never works. So far in the past few days I figure I've totally wasted over 5 hours of effort. I'm not playing anymore until this BS is fixed, and if it ain't fixed soon I'm going to seriously start looking for another way to spend my time. That's a damn shame considering how many thousand hours I have in this game.

Yep, trying to farm essences, lag kills a farmer. Trying to do Zmissions, lag out or err7 once you reach the boss or a ways into the mission. The lags are hefty and pretty annoying for sure.

I had horrible lag spikes for two days that DCed me virtually ever match, then my FPS dropped like a tank so I reinstalled, now neither are around. Give it a shot.

So many teams I played with pvp are getting some serious spikes and it's worse off when you include NPC's into the mix not being affected.

Ive been getting this lagg for months since the 4th anniversary update i guess. (maybe before that?) And i /agree with the fact that contacting support gets you nowhere, this is on ANet's end.
Normally when i first log on (when not many people are on i guess?) i get ok pings. Then about 30 mins-1 hour of gameplay, the vicious laggspikes occur. Id be lucky to get a green ping.
Been going on for aaages, just hope something can be done about it :/
(also contacted ISP, my connection is fine, followed a few steps, but still the lagg persists)

I did have some insane lag and at least 2-3 err7's a day a couple of weeks ago. Then I changed to European districts (from American) and haven't had any lag issues since. I'm in the US east coast.

Ya it is getting quite ridiculous. I have never dc'ed until yesterday. Since then four times. Lag has been horrible. We did Urgoz hm tonight and 2 people permanently dc'ed, 2 others temporarily dc'ed and everyone else had horrible lag. Very unfun.

I'm not getting the ping spikes per say, but I am getting err 7'd out of towns and missions about a 5-7 times per hour.

Getting bad lag costed us 2 GvGs, froze monks in crucial times. Moved on to some 'awesome' guild group FoW and lag errored out 2 of our members in it and we basically couldn't continue.
Been a bad few days in GW for me anyway, no reward points from predictions, GvG zaishen quests didn't update, lag, lag, lag, etc. I stopped reporting lag issues to support when the responses I get back are suggesting it's my end that's the problem when guildies get it, alliance members get it, people in the North America, Europe, Austraila continents get it.

The lag is pretty bad. me and my guild are trying to learn HA/GvG. Sucks when the lag/really bad ping means you fail to interrupt ward of melee repeatedly. Yes, we expect to lose anyway. But we at least want a fighting chance of getting better!
