Least favourite class and why
AmbientMelody
Necro. Least well-thought and well-made class in core game (proph), most common class in all sorts of gimmicks, in pve it has too small range of viable builds ...
As for Sins/Rits/Dervs/Paras ... sorry, I don't consider them character classes at all. They are more of like half-classes with half-viable builds which are either useless or completely gimmick ... not to mention they are boring as hell. They didn't bring anything to this game tbh.

Hm...I don't know. I like all the classes in their own way. If I had to pick a class, I'd go with para or rit.
Paragons just bore me to death tbh. It's a good concept but i prefer chucking spears on my ranger. Ritualists are kinda fun, but they never really clung to me. Which is why I play e/rt.

On my side: Paragon. I just couldn't get into the profession for one reason or another, probably because I was so accustomed to single target buffs via the Ritualist.
Foes side: Big Dumb Male Warriors (BDMWs). Nothing stings worse than being killed by BDMW XxYoMammaxX...

Paragon. outside of the imbagon build there arent many builds that go well with them. the class is more of a secondary
shoyon456
Warriors are a DROLL to play. I've had 3 over my GW life, two of them made it to level20 before getting the axe, the 3rd is now a permanent lv 2 mule. Warriors = skill 1, skill 2, skill 3, BOOM ADRENALINE HIT. Big whoop, its buttom mashing in my experience and while there is some adrenaline management, its reduced to hitting all the other skills until x or y has enough adren to use. I often fell asleep when playing my war.
Paras are long ranged warriors. While I find them to be slightly less boring and more aesthetically pleasing than Big Dumb Male Warriors (thanks for the right description Sante), they aren't much different.

Assassins, mainly because of all the shadow form farmers.

Tied between Mesmer and Derv,
Mesmers can be awesome, and have some nice armor. I'm just too slow to interrupt.
Dervs for reasons already stated. Mine does make a nice armor hoe though.

Shadow Spirit
I've tried several times to play a Paragon and just can't get into it. I know they're imba in PvE but I just get bored with the playstyle.
Plus they don't have any armors I like and I'm an armor fiend.

Necro has always seemed like the strongest primary profession, because of Soul Reaping. It allows for all sorts of builds: /Rit, /Monk, /Ele for example.
If anything, Necro is TOO good.
Bastian
Well, I will come out and say that I hate elementalists. I have a character with every other class at level 20, but my ele just sits around at level 4. I just find it to be the ultimate in button smashing. Sure gale and water trident are fun, but let's face it - people want fire with meteor showers and all kinds of aoe button smashing fun...
so boring...
so boring...
Esprit
Tied between Dervish and Paragon. Dervish for most of the reasons stated by most others in this thread, like casting enchants for e-management. Paragons because you have to be up in the enemy's face to hit with a spear.
Bryant Again
Dervishes and Paras. Very boring and bring little that's new to the table, both in terms of play and mechanics.
Mokeiro
AssAsins. They ruined the game
In PVP they do more dmg, knockdowns and conditios that a warrior could ever dream, my war must recharge adren to cause conditions, and recharge adren again to knockdown, and it loses adren. A sin knockdown you with a single skill and apply bleed, poison, deep wound and cripple in 3 shots, don't forget the crits and double hits, just a bit overpowered.
In PVE they have monopolize the game with permaSF, not fun to play anymore.
Also shadowstep is the most broken idea in GW history.

Mesmers
I can't play them very well due to my ping and usually when I'm on a roll I get a glad/rank 10 mesmer that shits on me the whole game...
With necro a close 2nd (like them a bit better now that lingering is gone - durrr hitting every button on my bar and nothing goes up!!!)

But other than that I tend to hate warriors in pvp just because they are so many bad ones out there

Warrior for me. I just don't take to it. I'm generally not a fan of melee classes.
I saw the picture, hey. Your Factions necro is my necro's brown twin! (Although my max armour set was Ascalon and not SJ. I got the same scar though!) And I made her that way for the exact same reason.
I have a slightly different problem. I like playing Cleric, so it usually goes to me without a fuss. The one time I didn't play a cleric (we were planning for a multiplayer BG2 game and I was the paladin), everyone sat around puzzled because - my god, she's not the cleric, wtf? Had another game a couple days back and my friend automatically asked me to heal him before realising I wasn't a cleric - but that was because the option wasn't available. (It wasn't D&D.)

My vote goes to the paragon class. Reason being imbagon is the only skill bar that get the nod of the head.

Rits..nice concept no doubt....but placing spirits and moving them around....i just can't stand it...
Btw im all in for the non anorexian female sin concept ^^. Those girls are waaay to skinny.

Least favorite to play? Melee classes. I'm a ranger by nature, I prefer to be the one who survives the wipe.
Lest favorite in general? Elementalists. All of them are either RTL or ZOMGKILLKILLBANGBANGFIRESTORMINTHEFOWTOSPLITTHOSEM OBSBOOM
I had a dumbass hit a mob in the FoW with Firestorm while we had TWO Splinter Barragers (Myself included, so I know dmg was high) firing. Needless to say, we had some butchered casters fairly quick.

Probably the Monk. When a monk is in your party that doesn't perform, you feel the pressure it puts on the team more than any other class. I enjoy playing my own Monk a lot, but when it comes to another player it always feels like a wild card. Case in point, nothing ends an adventure sooner than a healer who leaves in the middle of the game. I've lost tanks, nukers, mms, etc. and been able to muscle through, but when you can't heal forget about it.
Arachnephobia
Paragon:
1. Shouts. They're helpful, but I'd rather not be doing such things.
2. Crap for attacks.
3. Not so great armor selection.
4. Men look way too feminine.
5. Way too boring. I had a Paragon made when I first got NF, deleted, then recreated. The recreated version was my survivor attempt. A year later I tried to get into the profession and I found it so boring. I ended up deleting it for another profession.

It's a close race but I'd say Necromancer. It's the only class I never really managed to play more than just the starter areas because it bored me fast. Playing Hexes feels more rewarding (and faster) as a Mesmer IMHO, and I have no patience to MM. Plus, they are very ugly compared to the classes we have around - the 'creepy/dark/gothic/whatever' look simply doesn't appeal to me at all.
Runner ups would be Ritualist, Ranger and Warrior, never liked either of them but played them just to have a certain armor set.

Kalendraf
Assassin, by a long shot and for so many reasons it would exceed my text buffer limit, but here's just a handful...
- built-in problems with attack sequences. As if blindness and blurred vision wasn't bad enough for a melee class, under those situations now landing a 2nd or 3rd attack becomes exponentially harder for a sin (off-hand is ready, but keep missing with lead attack, doh!).
- most idiotic looking running style ever.
- virtually useless in PvE outside of gimmick builds based on shadow form
- too many newbies try to play them, and play them badly.
- one of the main reasons PUG'ing died during the Factions timeframe and never recovered.
- uses a two-handed melee weapon that does less (raw) damage than other one-handed weapons. (Most daggers also tend to look pretty lame, IMHO).
- become less useful in HM due to reliance on crits for energy and certain skills (higher level foes in HM are harder to crit)
- if I needed to free up a character slot, I would delete my assassin. I would not do that with any other character I have.
- I have tried and tried to like the sin, but after trying many builds and styles, I've never managed to find one that I like.

Other than that, I really don't have much of a problem with the other classes. Mesmer would be a distant second only because I never enjoyed playing one (other than the stupid pre-nerf VoR gimmick in PvP). Not to mention that they're rather useless in PvE in my opinion.
Hyper.nl
Least favourite: Assassins. Because they're so fragile. Fragile + melee is no good combo.
Also not favoured by me:
Mesmer: Makes a great secondary profession but lacks possibilities for PvE.
Ritualist: Generally overshadowed by the monks

I am not a melee type person so: sin, warrior and dervish are on the bottom, just cant get the hang of sin at all...warrior is just boring and dervish..not quite sure about that one.
now my paragon...doesnt see much action either, but I like playing her sometimes (and NOT ibargon, sorry)....
I dont pvp so this is only for pve.

Mostly regarding other PUG players' classes:
Most hated class: well, it's a build. Shadow Form Assassins. They just wreck the game; you sit around being bored, run out and nuke, repeat. SY! builds aren't so bad, but you need a decent monk - which most PUGs don't have.
I hate most Elementalists, who insist on bringing slow-cast long-recharge AOE damage. What're you going to do when you're done casting all your crap? Couldn't you have fit a ward in there somewhere?
Hate most Monks. That's nice, you've got 8 heal spells and no e-management... and an attitude. Smiting monks are cool and expert monks are awesome but rare.
Hate Dervishes. They're giant trojan horses created to have ridiculously high max HPs which suck up heal/prot like none other.
Hate most Warriors. A good one with a decent build is awesome, but most just try to be tanks and waste a character slot that could be kicking ass.
Dunno about Rits.. usually pretty helpful, nothing special.
Mesmers are pretty good, though too limited. At least their stuff ignores armor =)
Love Rangers. They bring barrage and can stuff in random crap when needed <3
Love Necros. There's a billion useful things they can do!
Love Paragons. Unmatched party-wide support, good damage, and can take a pounding as well. Most players know how to do the one thing that class does best - good for them, though it looks horribly boring.

the bad is too numerous to list
the Good: they die quickly so the enemy burns there signets trying to keep his 60'd out candy @** alive
oh and that posture of Kneeling with the crown of there head on the ground when you knock one down is great a gesture of surrender its like they know that death is coming within that second

Least fav in pve is ANYTHING that has to do with melee. Kinda sux that wars get all those godly skins for shields and swords. Seems like all too often, melee is stuck up on their armor and equipment than their skill bars.
Since I mainly play monk and necro, I'll throw in my 2 cents on the monk haters...
When gw launched, we didn't have all these uber healing skilz like the game has today. When you were a monk back in the day, you had to make due with skilz like orisons and PS and healing breeze. The lack of awesome skilz back then demanded that monks become really good players to keep a party alive.
New players to the game simply aren't tested enough to get better at monking. Even though the skilz are much better now, the players for the most part, just don't have that experience of keeping a party alive under heavy pressure and are more prone to fail. /2cents

Casters plain and simple.. Paragon...and derv....and Sin
Ok fine.....i never got itno paragon....
Well they seem TOO fememnin for their role in the game.. they are sepose to be LEADERS not RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO wana-bees -_-
outside of SYer i dont see them AT ALL, Shouts... if your in range nice.. if your upfron they are useless... you might have decent armor raiting but your damage is pure suckage.
Sins are another least favoirite by the reasons stated already..
For an upfron and personal calss.. they have low armor.. outside of melee protection....they are valnurable....the chain thing...ugh.. cmon.. its easy enaugh to press 123 for other classes why you make it mandatory for THIS 1..no warriation in builds 3-4 of used builds by the majority of theplayers that are immyky....NOT SEEN IN SERIOUS PVP that tells you somehtgin right.
All the casters... not ym type.. nacline not for me.....

Ritualist.
When they're not the cornerstone of every annoying build in the history of GuildWars, they're boring. You just stand around pressing support skill buttons. It's like playing one of those music rhythm games, only without the entertaining background music.
Plus, they remind me of the zones of the Jade Sea which is just an endless expanse of Frown Town.

MithranArkanere
Paragon.
They could do many things... if they could bring 32 skills.
Most of their skills are too specific, and most of them have conditions to work. So many 'ifs' in skill descriptions is annoying.
And since they have so few skills compared to other professions, you can't choose much.

I find Warriors to be the most boring class to play.
The Black Mumba
Dervish, followed by paragons.
There is nothing a derv can do better than a sin or war, except running Droks for tips.
A bunch of noobs play a derv just because "they look cool" and "scythe pwns".

never bothered with a warrior. he's one of the two classes i haven't seriously played. he's my storage character who's going to turn 4, yet is still level 4 and hasn't gone out of ascalon city. no appeal to me at all. i play more casters than anything else.
nec. never played one until i made her a perma-pre a few months ago. deleted her for a rit soon after. haven't really gotten into the rit yet, but seems fun.

PvP I'd agree with you though.

Paragon probably. Every other class is pretty great, except..ironic as it is, I use my Dervish as a Paragon, very rarely will I actually use a scythe on her.
