Least favourite class and why
Red Sonya
The least favorite classes and why are in order
1) Mesmer because they can't heal themselves worth a chit and don't do much dmg
2) The Ranger, because everybody has one and they are the lameist in battles.
3) The Sin, because they only know 1-2-3 and copy every build everytime someone comes up with a new spike

What's wrong with playing a Derv in PvE for looks? I wouldn't want to run around in something I hate to look at through all of those Vanquisher and Guardian titles just because Dervs aren't that "effective". I say "effective" because it's basically a load of **** because anything can "pwn" PvE.
PvP I'd agree with you though. |

2) I don't have a Ranger and you don't seem to have a reason for why they are lame.
3) You meant that you get pissed off when sins run meta builds.
Sorry but I just hard to point out the flaws in your reasoning, or the lack of it.

For those who say monks are bad because they get blamed for party fails then you need to pug less. Also I don't like discordway but they work fine for getting through the campaigns borefree.
The worst profession is dervish. They are completely useless in both parts of the game and Rangers Warriors and Assassins can play their scythe bars better. The ONLY useful part about them is that they are very safe when it comes to a person who uses orders. My guild has tried to work them into balanced builds where they don't use orders but besides somewhere like FoW where it doesn't really matter... They suck. They should just hope that the wounding strike conjure bar isn't nerfed otherwise lol at dervs.
Rits and necros are kinda useless as well because heroes usually run their bars better or about the same anyways.

There is a difference between a 'skirt' and a 'kilt.' Not much, but there is.
Kilts represent family colors, used to be decorated with furs, trinkets, etc. They are mainly worn only for formal occasions in modern society, although there are some popular informal options out there. That being said, kilts are still longer than most of the male paragon leggings. Not to mention that paragons are obviously not Scottish and their leggings look nothing like kilts. Many of them are far too frilly to be masculine. |

Since the OP's question was "Least favorite class and why?" I need to be fair and go with only the classes I have experience playing.
It's a tie between a rit and a monk.
Rits are the coolest looking class next to Dervishes, but although I've played two of them to lvl 20, I just can't seem to click with them. Running/fighting/running/fighting scenario didn't work for me. Spirits, the best thing about rits, take too long to cast. They're good in a group of people, but not fun in a H/H group and I find myself H/Hing most of the time. I kept my one Rit for awhile only because she was so gorgeous and her armor rocked. (I hate the female rit dance... LAME)
I started a monk and she's only at lvl 15, so I'm going to hold off on a definitive answer until lvl 20+, but so far I'm not liking that class. I like to be doing damage during a fight, not healing. She's a Proph's toon, so I plan to play her until I can do some fun stuff, which *appears* to be a 600 Smiter.
I would like assassin's better if they didn't have that off-kilter stupid looking run.
I'm not saying these classes are bad, I used Rit skills on my ranger to beat the Norn Tournament, and the monk is definitely useful, they're just not my thing, if you know what I mean. I think players just click with a class or not. For example, people saying they don't like rangers make me go WTF!? My ranger character is my favorite. I steamrolled through Snake Dance with my ranger and H+H because I kept just about everything shut down thus making it easy for my H+H to mop up. And just go UW HM trapping and you'll be hooked for life.

lol do you remember how the ran when the factions public beta came out?
well, for what i've seen derv is the least favorite class, IIRC the only time i played derv i went /W with steady stance and the 2 drunken blows, couldn't bother to bring all those enchantments that last 10 secs crap

Is that really your experience? I have a friend who plays necro, and I know I'd take her over Olias anyday, because there's a pretty significant difference especially when she plays curses.

The post you're replying to was probably thinking of Minion Master builds, which, yeah... Heroes with pwn any human's face at.
Monk of Myst
My list of hated professions:
1.) Necromancers - The skills suck until you get heroes to help you level or until you get at least to level 20 and then if you're not a good MM or you don't want to go as a SS, everyone starts complaining about how you're a noob because you're not conforming to the standards set by the two most common builds.
2.) Dervishes - Over rated and I never seem to get into it (and I've played one to level 20 and I still don't like it). I almost find them boring to play as. Times, everyone has one.
3.) Assassins - Again, another profession where everyone has one and they all look like they're straight out of the anime, Naruto. The skills are annoying and of course, if you're not a perma-sin, then apparently, you're a noob in the eyes of most. I don't mind playing a sin but I hate playing one although I'd rather play a Sin than a derv.

Ritu--oh wait.
Probably rangers; I want to enjoy playing mine. It's just so boring in PvE [PvP, on the other hand is fun]. This goes for Paragons as well as Elementalists for me.

This thread should have a poll.
Probable dervish and nerco for me. I hate casting while meleeing, and Necros seem to do a lot of things I can do with my mesmer but with cast times that are twice as long.

Dervs are at the top of my list for least favorite class of the whole game, and here's why:
They are poor for both recovering and damaging all together, which is ironic because that is what they were designed for. The enchantments are a hassle to work with as they either need to be up kept multiple times, draining precious energy, or takes lots of time just to cast and rip off for the sacrifice of like 4 skill slots. It's a waste of time and skill slots because the overall result doesn't make up for it and I'm better off hack and slashing.
Another thing, too many Derv skills contradict each other. Some of the good enchantments need to be kept on you while the other good skills needs to strip enchantments. So, I have to decide which of the good skills be replaced by skills that are crappy and they make the good skills I could bring in the bar crappy as well. THAT'S NOT A GOOD WAY TO BUILD A BAR!! Other people has their issues with Dervs, but this is mine. They just, for the lack of a better word, suck at the things that they were DESIGNED to do. (At least through my experience)
