How many Guild Wars accounts do you have?

That would be telling.

Seven for me, acquired slowly over time -

- my main one that I play on daily (all campaigns)
- two more, abandoned accounts from my son and daughter (all campaigns)
- one abandoned account from a friend (Prophecies only)
- two others I bought merely for storage and they were cheap - $9.95 (Prophecies only)
- one last one I won in a forum contest - used for storage (Prophecies & Factions)

I hoard everything, even more so now since Nicholas has appeared in presearing and post.

I do use the extra accounts for special events as well - I'd be foolish not to. I ran so many characters through the Dragon Festival quests until I just about died from boredom!

I have 2 accounts.
One that has a lot of extras. :]
The other has only Prophecies and Factions. I use this one for storage mostly. :3

7 here accumulated over many years. Most are accounts I purchased for £5 in sales when character slots weren't available and I wanted extra storage. I only play on 2 of them (main and a PvP), rest are mostly mules, either for myself or my guild.

I actually found a Nightfall CE recently and was considering using the code to make a second account, but I ended up just deciding to apply it to my current one.

I have one for myself, though my brother and his friend errr "donate" there XTH Keys and Nick gifts

Just one here. Mainly because i dont see how people could want more than 1 account, except if they needed storage and reached a character limit on one char. I mean, I actually understand 2 or 3 accounts, but I heard the guy that ran Lazy had an account for each guild-which i think was about 18-24. To me, thats too extreme. Any more than three, and you dont have a reason such as storage, for doing it.

I have seven because I used to be OCD when it came to Guild Wars.

I love immersing myself too deeply in PvE, so I only wanted evidence of one *official* character on an account. Then I would feel dissatisfied with a character and feel that I had to buy a new account to fully appreciate the game.

Two. As stated in the other thread on wealth; One is PvE and the second is PvP.

bought the 2nd account before you could buy character slots.

Now i just play the one account, the other is just used for gifts and storage.

I have my main account since early 06. Because storage became a problem I got a cheap second account about a year later.
A while later I became guild leader of my previous guild and about 3/4 year after the founder caused a problem with our alliance leader. So I split them, staying leader of both.
Keeping the 'old' clan including the founder in the original guild and taking the rest and more active players into the new one.
Then most of my warrior/melee playing guildies quit the game leaving us with no decent frontline. I decided to take my second account into my current guild to be able to play PvE frontline easier (that was before paypal-possibility to buy additional character slots) and since I decided to remain GL of the other guild I bought a 3rd one. That account has one PvE character (level 1). I keep forgetting predictions on it

So I have 3 at the moment and if storage would have been solved earlier I would have had 2. Then if Paypay would have been around for character slots I would have probably had one, perhaps two because of the guild drama.

Heavens people, seriously there are some paranoid people here. It's perfectly anonymous, anyone posting to state that they have 1 or more accounts is doing so for their own reasons. There's nothing sinister or motivated behind it except for a casual curiosity on how many accounts this userbase has decided to accumulate. It's an interesting poll and the only results I am looking for are to see just how many of us have more then 1 account. Simple.

I am currently in possession of two Guild Wars accounts, but I don't use the second as a mule, nor do I use it to take advantage of the Xunlai Tournament House's rewards. I play on my main account only, and I just let the other be.

It's Anet's sinister plot to gauge the wealth of the Guru population, and thus work out just how much more then can charge for Guild Wars 2.
