No, ANET wants noobs who make like 10k/hour (If that?) and think they're good at a game to keep wasting their time and money on Guild Wars. So they will not nerf UWSC.

if you can't ask a friend to lend you 3 heroes and get yourself to the forgemaster, you totally fail at the game

if it's a problem of getting materials, playing in pugs is the slowest way, find something to farm, you can do a lot as a ranger (famine, splinter barrage, spirit spam, trap...)

btw, even a ranger can solo his way to the forgemaster (in nm, without any consumables), it takes time though

Go watch remmeh's FoW video do a search for it.remmeh went down there solo on his Ranger.This is for FoW only not UW.

Thanks for the advice, i think the point i was trying to make is that certain classes shouldnt be so good at one thing that they obsolete the other ones, all classes should be balanced to the point where they are all useful in the elite areas. Btw ive played since the 2004

10k an hour? That's pretty low, a successful team can run uw in <20min and each run you on average gets ~3 ectos...times that by 4k and you get 12k just in ectos in 20minutes.

yeah but that doesnt count for the vale team... they normally get little or nothing

You totaly missing the point. Shure you can get hero's but it's just that ToA
these day's isonly being used by farmeoholics.

Nerfing classes/skills won't accomplish that. The areas need to be overhauled for that to happen.

I think if they just made shadow form unmaintainable that would help some. And i agree changing fow/uw areas would be nice, i doubt it would happen since its a small team working on gw1. Hopefully the test krewe can help out in this situation.

Not problem solved. It's used for more than just UWSC. A few solo farms, RUNNING, for example.

In the last update Anet stated they did not want to penalise the runners and so focused on damage rather than maintainability.

I like the idea on Creatures not retaliating and your damage being reduced to 0. Perfect for runners, and only runners. Would sort the problem for all the extreme farming, raise the price of my Ectos, i mean, Ectos in general...
