I think it's safe to say the last 3 pictures in this thread are Orr.

Anyways, looks amazing.

It's how we get to Primordus. We just jump down, land in lava, and rush out before we get burned and crippled to death.Last three are the same, and if it was Orr, Anet would have said it was. Just like they did for "Corrupted Orr" and the Ebonhawke ones.

For some reason I feel we jump in that hole to get into world pvp (mist).

Nah, it's not really a volcano. There's not a single volcano type I know of which declines. Cone shaped, sphere shaped, flat, but no spiral inward. Though it does fit the name.

Last three pictures to be seen before your post is the same (as in exact same picture not same location). Before that is Orr, the oldest of the three we've seen. People have been suggesting Orr for the most recent (the pit) picture, and if it was, Anet would have confirmed by now. We're playing a "guess if you can" game - once we get the portion right, we get the whole with the name.

Looks like a pit mine...as in iron, so I'll guess the Iron Citadel ?

I don't think that hole is anything as natural as a valcano. For one the landscape sorrounding the hole looks rather fertile, like farmland or something. I looks more like that hole was gouged into the landscape. Aslo notice the spiral patterns in the rock walls, they suggest itwas dug using some sort of gigantic drill, or at least something acting as an auger. Maybe Primordus is at the bottom of that hole O.o?

Possible, but the Iron Citadel stands right on top of Rin's ruins.
And I don't see any ruins there.

I actually do think thats located directly above where Primordos is...therethere near the central transfer chamber above ground - which would be interesting

The Iron Citadel is where Rin is - there is no giant pit there - and as said, there are no ruins in the concept art. Citadels do not go down. We see three "GW" Citadels, one of which is similar to a spiral tower (which I would think the Iron Citadel would be like) which is Mallyx's Citadel. So no, not likely to be the Iron Citadel.

What I'd like to see:


The Teaser right starts there, where the Ending of Eye of the North ended... with the awakening of Primordus.


- We begin at the dark cave of the central transfer chamber
- The camera zooms too the gigantic statue that was thought by the Asurans to be a magical statue that is their ressource for their Asura Network based on their Warp Gates deliverig all the magic power for them.
- the Statue begins to crack up..earth starts shaking..first weak..then strogner and stronger until more parts of the statue crack up and we see Primordus closed eyes, which then will open up slowly, just to open up then far more as the dragon realizes, that he has awakened.
- Once Primordus realizes the fact that he is back in life, he crushes all the rest of his petrificated body to free himself spreading his huge wings to enjoy his freedom with a mighty long loud roar.

Scene changes to the outside of the chamber...a place full of mountains.

- We will see after some seconds, after the camera has fixed itself to a point of one mountain, how a huge flaming sign will burn itself into the mountain from the inside, that becomes hotter and hotter until it melts the earth to lava and then Primordus shoots in a very quick rush from the inside of the mountain, pierces through his fire magic weakened spot of the mountain to the outside, where he will roar high up in the sky again, before he flies with some mighty wing slaps high into the clouds.

- we follow now some seconds, how Primordus flies through the clouds, breathing the fresh air and seeing how he's testing his abilities, if hes still so strong as before, or if the long sleep has weakened him...
so primordus prepares a big fireball just to shoot it at the first village he sees to wipe it completely out !!! a huge black fireball, whichs fire burns for 7 days and 7 nights
Proud of seeing, that he is now even stronger than before, that the long sleep has empowered him, he then flyes further to the direction of Tyria....to the lake where Drakkar lies near the town of the Norns

- Once Primordus arrives at the lake... the fiery heat of Primordus' presence alone lets the lake melt, so that Drakkar gets free.

Sceenes change then to Drakkar...while Primordus flyes further, we see how Drakkar rises up from the lake and crushes all the ice of the frozen lake into thousands of pieces.

- Now the background voince starts telling stuff about the gw2 story, but yet not the point of the sea gulls and the stuff about tyria and their dragons always havign been there...

- Both dragons fly now their own ways to awake an other of the ancient dragons that are left

- Primordus fliess now to the direction of Cantha, where he will awake "Selphium" the ancient dragon of wind in which lies sealed under tengu temple ruins at the biggest island under Shing Jea to the south

(Primordus being the Fire and Drakkar being the Ice)

- In the meantime Drakkar flies to the desert of Elona, the most north west point of the map just above of that volcano half island with the tinier volcano under it to awake deep under the sands the ancient dragon of earth "Graitha" whose huge earthquakes of awakening will then let Orr rise up again.

- With the rise of Orr the ancient dragon of darkness rises up too - "Jehovair"

- Now 5 of the 8 dragons have been awakened, letting the ancient dragon of water, light and thunder still being yet unshown.


the came shows now, how the rise of orr lets also rise up a gigantic Tower that rises up too the Sky right up to the Clouds..like a 100 stock high huge pillow.
the fire ancient dragons now fly to the top of the tower from the points where they are right now to activate the towers might at top

Once the tower got activated....the earth is shaking again and Arah will reappear through this - but a different Arah... an Arah of the far far past, as if the dragons would have warped it from the past to the present through the might of the tower.

In the warped Arah of the past will lie in a temple 2 dragon eggs - one beign the egg of the ancient dragon of water, one beign the egg of the ancient dragon of thunder.

- After arah has reappeared now the five dragons go together for reawakenign their "leader" ..the ancient dragon of light "Xeraphes", which has the ability to let the other two dragons from the past grow up to their age very quick..so that the reunion will be perfect, so that "Deinomos" and "Crucifar" will also find their way to the others, because both got killed in the war where they got all sealed away..so the ancient dragons had to brought them from the past to the present to brign them back to life ... what they 5 dragons did with the power of the Tower of Fate that rised up with Orr.
The Tower of Fate relulates the past, the present and the future and is one ancient relict same as old ans the dragons itself sealed away by the Chronomancers.

- As the earth is shaking, bringing the world to cataclysm due to the rises of the ancient dragons...their appearance won't be unnoticed for long by the gods and so the gods appear to the humans as they believe in their strength that will help the gods to fight against this very dangerous threat of the ancient dragons been awoken and to prepare the humans for upcoming dark days, once the ancient dragons have made their reunion complete and that humankind has now to react quick, before the last two dragons rebirthed from the past have fully grown up...that they have to make now allies with all the races of the work to prepare together for the deadliest war against the ancient dragons.

- Then the trailer comes to its end..we see the girl stood before the gods that got told about the arise of the dragons - she closes her eys, trys to remember on the past days of peace...we see a beach...sea gulls are at the sky

then they voice comes again and say with the voice of that girl:

Tyria ..... there have always bee dragons here ....

break

she opens her eyes again ,the camera zooms to her as everybody should realize now, that this girl is one of Gwen's offsprings and says then the last part of her sentences

... but there were also ever heroes who have slain them back to their fiery roots they came from !!!

Thats how Id like to see the trailer


first see how the dragons awake one by one
then see how some ancient places will reappear nobody believed in, that they would come back (Orr + Arah + a fat unbeliveable high Sky Tower that has somethign to do with the Chronomancers to have somehow a connection to this very likely to be in new class)
-with the offspring of gwen we would have some nice heroine connection and connection to GW1

plus id think it would have alot of style ^^


next big trailer then can show more about the classes, then also with ingame material about them...


PS. names mentioned in "" were just thought out, because yet only Drakkar and Primordus are known names of the ancient dragons

Im being really sad here trying to find stuff in the pictures like hidden things. Gunna put all the images together and stuff or layers etc to find hidden meaning to life and guild wars

edit: At above poster - i would love to have seen you make this game instead haaa.

I can immagine if that were real jumping down and actually get that sinkin feeling in your stomach even though it would be a game.

Primordus is the only given name by Anet.
Drakkar is Fan-named, not official, as Grothmar and Malchor.

PS. especially Drakkar, because hes related to the lake of Drakkar, that is called ingame so officially

im not making stuff up but i swear theres a guy with a spear and sheild in that picture near the centre and a large gray face in the shadowy cloudy part created by the peak


Its probably best to look on the other pic as i think mines a bit less quality but i can see a face,it has a clear mouth and eye section with brows is obvious

You need sleep - you're starting to hallucinate like many others who stay up staring at the GW2 site. Its just the shadowing on the numerous cliffs. And that "shield" is waaaaay too big.

So, when is the GW2 site actually gonna update?
