This. Im not one to delve into the game mechanics, so I can figure out the best builds for certain areas/missions, dont care about Zaishen stuff, or PvP(never understood the interest, actually), the only reason I do a mission for faction is to complete a primary quest, and to (Maybe, Im not sure, offhand, if theres another way to do it)have enough for some faction-based skills. Also, I dont bore easily.
Thenameless Wonder
Reason why Im still playing? Ehh... it kills time and I need to get leet armor for ALL chars so I look pro in GW2

CONTENT AND SKILL UPDATES.
I will play for 25 days more after a skill update, and 50 days more after a content update.
If updates end, I leave the game until another comes.

Why do YOU assume I still play?

It's safe to assume the question is aimed at those who do...
On topic, with 1 char of each profession there is plenty left undone, but the game does not have the vice-like grip it used to have on me. This has made it more refreshing when I do dip back into it.

For the people I know ingame, that's the only reason anymore really. To busy with college etc to play anything hardcore anymore, and I've done everything there is to do in the game ten thousand times by now. So GW I just come on to chat with guildies, do a run or 2 once a week, for gaming I've mostly moved to EVE with some RL friends

cauz Guild Wars is still the best !

Friends, boredom, and mainly stupidity. -_-

It beats playing Madden 2010 for PC....
It's still fun. I largely ignore my HoM and am simply doing the z-bounties and stuff. Guild events, guild dungeons, vanquishes, things like that. The friends that remain in-game are pretty darn good peeps.

I'm a little sure...Here's some reasons why.
Guild Wars 2 - Something that I've wanted for a long time, if I back out now, think about all that time about thinking about something that hasn't come out yet that I wasted! haha I don't think that made much sense! But seriously, I have high hopes for GW2.
HoM - This ties to GW2, I want to be the best I can be and set up all ready for GW2 straight away. I won't be able to play GW2 as much as I would like because I have some busy years coming up, but I'll still play and I really want my HoM to look nice and shiny.
Titles - Well, this is part of the HoM. Titles just keep me occupied really. I don't go to towns and show them off. I have GWAMM, but barely log on that character anymore, I just need to get titles to keep me interested. Right now I'm slowly aiming for the Luxon title, and then I'll get a few more titles for my Elementalist and hopefully get her around the 20+ mark before GW2!
Updates - Lets face it, we all love good updates. That update in April I liked for a bit, now I don't like so much anymore, but still, I had a fair few hours of fun out of it. :P
The updates since have been terrible though. I'm usually not one to go and complain much about updates or ANet or whatever, but seriously, these updates have been terrible and all we've been getting lately is that they cannot meet the schedule that they gave us. For example, the content update that was meant for, what around July/August? (3-4 months.) Anyway, I heard that they would talk a lot more to us now, so that gave me some (false) hope. The skill bar contest was a huge joke...
But I think I have flamed too much about the whole thing here...
Friends - I have no friends! That keep playing anymore I mean! xD
I mean, when I first started playing, I had around 12 real life people who played the game a lot with me, now about 1 play, once every 2 or so weeks for like an hour. The friends I have met in game have also all quit, except for one mate who still plays a fair bit, but is in a 12 hour opposite timezone to me! so thats pretty much useless! Since all my friends quit that I have met, i've been getting the incentive to just take something like a 6 month break...though I cant really do that just yet...
And lastly, it kills time.

My computer sucks too much to play any newer games and really nothing out there worth investing time in. I've already invested years into this game, might as well continue reaping the rewards for a little while longer (almost a dozen level 20 characters with skills, armor, and weapons allows me to do pretty much anything in the game).
Absolute Destiny
Because I have yet to finish a campaign with any of my 8 characters, and I just got EOTN...

GW is still fun. I've got a good, active guild/alliance. I like to pug for the z-bounties and z-missions. I enjoy the occasional foray into light pvp. I'm not too serious about titles but I like to whittle away at them now and then and I still have vanquishes, cartographers, and skill capping titles left (apart from the money sinks).
I'll play another game for awhile but nothing has held my interest for an extended time like GW. The gameplay is still great and the variety of options as far as in-game activities go is pretty extensive.

Just doing the Zaishen missions for bags. Got like 10 medium sized bags and now I'm almost getting my largest bag.
And the nicholas farming for a gwen doll.
The rest of my time goes to Random Arenas.
With at least one "elite" armor on every of my 13 pve chars and over 200 unique weapons, I got not much to go for anymore what material stuff concerns.

Right now, currently Vanquishing (and getting Cartographer alongside it) as well as filling in books.
After that, I'll probably go for the EotN vanquishing/mapping, do as many dungeons as I can without 7-hero party, max rep titles, and then play another class.
Sad to say, (or impressive?) as much as Guild Wars has decayed over time, and as much as I've already done most of it several times over, it's still one of the best games currently available.

... Because my guild is starting GvG next week? That's reason enough for me, even if we're so late to the scene it's not even funny ^_^

Yeppers, that is pretty much what my wife and I have found. So much time, so few games worth playing.
