what is ur most epic fail u had in guildwars...

mine was just recently...getting all the way 2 dhuum...had 1 mobbeer leave then another d/c during dhuum...so many consumables gone...

Making a girl assassin with short hair.

I was making an attempt at Thirsty River with Hero and Hench. (I managed it on a later attempt.)

Everything was going well, and we had made it to the last room and killed the priest. We were about to go after the boss, and there were still some minions left. Then, my internet dropped abruptly. It took me awhile to load back in, and there was quite a bit of computer lag on both ends. Because I hadn't had a chance to change their flag pattern, the NPCs pretty much just stood there getting slaughtered rather than moving to a reasonable combat position, and my character was like a log doing nothing but absorb damage.

By the time I was able to get the game playable again, we had failed the mission because the player character and every NPC with a rez were dead, even though we'd already done the hard parts.

I said bad words.

Beeing 10 enemies short of finishing a 400 enemies vanquish and hitting the 'close' button in the corner instead of the minimize. Good god, that stinged.

Merching an item you need.
That is always fail.

When you get lag at the merchant and your mindlessly merching your junk and bam there goes that gold you were gonna sell for some nice plat.

Oh and not buying a q7 inscribable short sword that I saw on guru auctions.

Me(+3 heroes) and a guildie(+1 hero) to vanquish The Falls:

• Started from Ventari's refuge
• Running to Reed Bogs
• Vanquishing Reed Bogs
• Vanquishing like 60% of the Falls
• Then I realised that all my heroes were on Avoid combat

Other time: buying many festival hats form the npc to find something to match with an armor mix. After I found a mix that I liked I started to delete the other festival hats and I accidentaly deleted my bandana.

was in FoW and early on about 4 of us resigned cause someone took a quest. so went went on. about 2hours later, have like 3 more quests to do, and five people left, someone says they have to go and they bid there goodbyes.....after they left mission failed. the four of us had resigned already><

Buying a set of Elite Sunspear armor for my Ranger, taking about 1/4th of my bank account to do so (already had the materials).

....only to realize that Elite Sunspear Ranger armor looks like **** on him IMO.

It was supposed to be his first elite set, since I'd had him in max Istani armor up until then.

The lesson: Ya can't always visualize how a certain armor will look on a certain character.

Hopefully the Norn set I'm working on getting for him will look better, since it actually looks FUNCTIONAL.

When I first started playing Guild Wars, and I went through the Ascalon Academy mission, I quit playing for about a week as soon as I saw post-searing Ascalon. I thought I had messed up and gone to the wrong place.

Also, just recently, I was spirit-spam farming Underworld. After killing a group of Obsidian Behemoths, I ran in to collect my drops. Their traps killed me. I was talking with my friend at the time, and after he laughed at me, I said "Well, at least now I'll remember that they lay traps, and I won't run into them again". 10 minutes later, I did it again.

Norn ranger armor is the best armor in the game. You won't be disappointed.

I put 100k on a pvp character once, then promptly deleted the bugger.

Made the mistake of playing with retards who couldn't speak English during the Zaishen Mission.

Shit sucked, since even with chats toggled off, I could still see their retarded shit above their heads.

Done this countless times, usually with ectos after 55ing uw, I have to have a non merchantable item on all my chars to stop me doing it now

I do this alot...Someone pms me saying they need "X" class for HA so I roll a pvp character and I always forget to put a sup vigor on...and by the time I realize it we are done ha'ing. ROFL

Solution to not sellin g your gud stuff... put in xunlai before talking to merch. Also carry a book and put it in front of your armor/weapons.

My stupid thing... I deleted my legendary survivor paragon coz I got bored of her a week before they announced the account wide HoM.

The other thing I did was delete my old war and remake a new one with exactly the same face and everything with a different name because the old ones name was stupid a month before they brought out the name change option.
