Final project for my Intermediate Ceramic class. Re-creation of an ancient Mesoamerican sculpture. Somewhat related I guess because Asuran architecture is based off that culture.

And the white sidge (sp?) was not nearly as vibrant before it was fired. Came out way brighter than I expected.

Um, maybe around two hours or so also? I wasn't really timing myself on the Blackbeard piece, and was moving kind of slow because I was playing around with color layers.

That being said, relaxation time is now over and I'm coming back full force on these pictures. Re-working my self-portrait into a new character piece for Iron. Armor is going to be slightly tweaked, along with the colors. Not entirely sure if I'll be adding a helmet since I really fancy the portrait.
