Hallo everyone,

I'm a very interested person in unconditional weapons (+xx% perma dmg non negative). So I'd love to open a thread on discussing them. Which ones are known to exist, who has them, whom are they customized for, when were they sold and screens of them

That's wrong since October the 15th 2010. Many, many thanks and hugs to Hi! who sold me his Longbow for an imho decent price (basically everything I had/ could offer) without too much haggling. It made me poor, but it also made me happy. Screen's on page #4.

I'll just start with a list of unconds I know to exist:

req8 double bladed axe 15% (Jason XII after it had been in the hands of SpiL for some long time, not custo'd afaik)
req9 longsword 14% (custo'd for Njia Todeshand, gone with hack, probably destroyed)
req10 longsword 13% (I think Capitalist, custo'd... not sure though )
req11 longsword 14% (Sara Valentine, custo'd)
req11 longsword 13% (Extra Bacon, custo'd)
Req10 13% Longbow (Mia Todeshand, custo'd)
req8 serpent 14% (Akhilleus, not custo'd)

Cap sold the short bow ages ago it was instantly customised, iirc he had to ask Cap for the 10g for the customisation because he gave everything he had for the bow ^^

I saw a Ascalon skin Longbow req 11 max, with 14% uncond. I used to have 14-27 Longbow 14% uncond. I merch it on accident.

I don't have screens, I remember max one was in LA dist 1 from Ranger, he told this is what a bow looks like something along those lines. The bow I had r10 cause I got it from Chest running/farming of chests near Droks.

Kai I've got screens of Akh's stuff... I'll check. But he's got the r8 Serpent and the r12 dwarven, both of which are uncusto'd. He's also got one of those custo'd r8 15^50 glass sword things but hey.. w/e.

the dwarven axe one is at home.

Well... I have screens from Akh's req10 15% Short Sword and the req8 Serpent, too... just too lazy to search for them. And I know his Crysta

But didn't know he had the req12 Dwarven. You're sure with this? I talked to him in late 2008, and he only showed me the Short Sword and Serpent back then.

I thought a Req 8 15/50 Mursaat Hornbow was something... until I saw this:

Can't remember where I found the pic.

I've backed it up and moved it around a few times and I don't remember the original creation date... it's old.

I've seen that bow before.. Just don't remember when. But that's like 06 if I remember. Early 07 at the latest but I think I saw it in late 06. Also, he does have a dwarven, I talked with him for a few hours last year. He showed me a bunch of other stuff... That guys collection is disgusting on a whole different level. He makes everything today look like absolute garbage. Yet he didn't have half as many unconditionals as Herb... Madness I say!

Hellooo. An old friend of mine was asking me about a fleshy hornbow 15% that I apparantly use to own back in '06. Honestly, I don't remember the item nor the transaction, but he says he still has screen-shots and that I eventually sold it to Akh (I THINK.). He also told me that he still had the guru thread saved, but I searched and couldn't find it. This is just what I remember from a conversation 2 weeks ago, so I am not certain the details are correct.

If it is still out there, I would love to have the chance to buy it back. But no way that's happening xD

Akh has never shown me an uncond fleshy before. So just as my word I don't think he has it or he probably would have mentioned it over the years. There are any number of excollectors who could have it. Name dropping not necessary... Nonetheless, I don't think Akh has it, and regardless, whoever has it probably either custo'd or quit so probably not gonna be able to locate it or get it back.

During further attemps in trying to find the aforementioned bow, I stumbled across these screenies. Some of them you already have listed and some I think you don't have listed yet.

There are probably more hiding around gwg. I just got tired of looking @_@. It seems that from late 2006 onwards unconditionals posted here on guru are pretty well-known. At this point, I am very skeptical of a 15% unconditional fleshy hornbow existing. If it did, I'm pretty sure the guru community would be all over it. Maybe my buddy was confused or maybe just flattering me. But who knows, maybe it's really out there.

thats cuz i couldnt remember the emails/PWS to my other accounts...
i KNOW i have amn uncond axe, i dont recall it being a dwarven though; but i remember i settled down with only 3-5 unconds (im nto entirely sure), though i traded many, many more in my days.
i believe the spatha was at one point mine; i think i may have traded it off but im not sure.
i know i kept the glad/serpent, and im pretty sure i have a r11 13% sword of some type somewhere. and for some reason i think i remember having a r9 14% mursaat horn...but that may have been one of my late day trades, im not 100% sure.
but fo sho, most of the unconds are customed except for (what most people consider) the bets one still in existence which is my 14% r8 serpent. (i also have a 8 15>50 serpent, which i didnt remember i had and is almost certainly the only one).

edit; i can for sure put the flesh horn to rest though; it exists, but not r8. its r10 or 11 not 100% sure which but i know its not r8 or 9, i sold it a considerable poriod of time ago for a good amount.

edit #2:
some of those weapons depicted above are either A: not legit, or B: unconds have been able to drop again; since some of those skins are WELL past the maximum age limit for an uncond to have dropped. (example; the uncond icy sword).

You showed me an r12 15% Dwarven, I'm almost 100% sure of it. You've got the r9's as well, 15^50 and 15/-5 but I'm almost sure of it you showed me a 12 15%. I'll look more thoroughly tonight.

I will change the first post according to your new infos. Though I wonder what you mean with Icy sword in edit #2? Only Icy sword above I see (maybe I've overseen one), is the longsword. And I know quite a lot of uncond. Longswords, so it should be legit, should it not?

I don't know if it's worth mentioning since I'm banned and have no way of proving it's existence unless I get unbanned. But my acc has a r8 uncondit brute sword 14% uncustomized laying around (gold rarity) I had it for sale a year ago or so here so if anyone remembered seeing it when I had it for sale maybe they still have a screen ¯\(º_o)/¯

actually now that i recall, i think i sold the uncond dwarven when i was running low on ecto so i could get the uncond serpant; or maybee it was astrait up trade; i cant recall.
like i said previously, ive had many, many unconds go through my hands (appx 20 or so), probably the majority of the ones that exist were at one time or another in my possession, usually temporarily so that i could trade up as really there were only 3 i cared about.
todes longsword (which i wasnt playing GW when he aquired it otherwise i assure you i would jhave ^^), my serpent and the 8 15% mursaat horn on swifts account.

obviously the 8 15% dwarven was left off this list since that was customed very soon after the game came out.

I remember these clowns, there was a thread before this one about selling this {fictional bow} which ever one of the two had it refused to show it in game and after a lot of badgering they posted a badly photoshopped screen of it. { it looked like someone used a black marker right behind the 15% bad}

I searched to see if I could dig up the original but it could have been deleted, they did take a lot of abuse in it. lol

Hey guys, This is gonna seem a really stupid question ( but it is coming from the guy that merched a r9 max bo staff

).

Could u explain why these are so sought after and if people are still buying them?

What other requirements are needed to make them desirable?

The only reason i ask is i'm sure i have 2 r9 15% always weapons in my storage,( im at work at the mo so i'll check when i get home, what they are.) I think they are a gothic sword and a gothic axe.

Im sure i had them in PC for a while and was told low prices.

p.s if ive got them i'll add some screen shots, and im not looking for PC i just dont want to merc something that may be valuable again lol

Hi,

I am quite sure your weapons have a "-5Energy" or "-10Armor" Reduction or anything like that. Every Weapons has

a) a condition for its damage bonus (>50%, stance, enchanted, etc.)
b) a negative for its damage bonus (-1Energy/Life reduction, -5Energy, ect.)
c) +5 Energy
d) no damage mod at all (baaaad)
e) inscription slot
f) unconditional damage bonus (so it has +xx% damage ALWAYS + NO NEGATIVE)

Those weapons of the "f)" kind are the ones to be shown in that thread. I've heard different speculations about where they came from (glitches with "losing" the negative, chests without keys, random exploits, etc. - if anything has a good, founded theory on their origin, please post here!), but what's sure is that those can't drop any more and only droppend in the very very first days of GW (often heard time is about first 2 weeks). So those weapons are

a) "imbalanced", because 15% always is just plain and simple better than "perfect" 15^50 (though that advantage is not unfair, but it's always better than most other mods)
b) RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing rare (not only because they droppend in a limited amount of time, but also because freaking rich collectors grapped them whenever they had the possibility)
c) Hawt.

Well, if they are gothic, then they are from Factions, so faaaaar after the time when unconds could drop: definetly not unconditional.

heres the story;

there are (were) 2 kinds of unconditional weapons.
TRUE unconditionals ONLY DROPPED IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF GUILD-WARS. Period, end of discussion.
the reason they have not been nerfed or removed form the game is during these 2 weeks unconditional weapons were legitimate mods.
basically the damage mods available for item drops were 15% unconditional, 15>50, 15<20, 15 -5 energy, 15 -10 armor, etc.
unconditionals were just the top-tier weapons available in the drop cycle.
well...shortly after GW was released someone at anet figured "what the heck is the point of all the conditions on these damage mods if we have uncondtional weapons?" and so, anet removed them from the games code; and thus...they have not been able to drop since.

but akh...you said there are 2 types of unconditionals?!? what about the other type?
well...the other type werent true unconditionals.
there was at one point a way of bugging weapons and making them LOOK unconditional.
if, however, the mod was changed, the weapon would display its true mod loud and proud.
example: weapon shows as zealous longsword r9 15% unconditional +30hp...when in reality its a r9 15% dmg -1energy regeneration weapon...the zealous mod just "covers" the -1 energy degen so it looks as if there is no condition for the 15% dmg boost...
however, if the zealous mod were changed iout for a sundering mod, for example, the weapon would display its -1 energy degeneration condition.
there was, for a brief period, a way of "bugging" unconditionals as well after the aforementioned "damage display bug" was fixed...but these weapons were removed from the game promptly (which is why you hear about some people's unconditionals dissappearing) since they were an exploitation of item code.

and that, is the story of unconditionals.

Akh.. this is old news. Give us something fresh like i dunno... HAX! something like that. and I can't believe this is still a question... first 2 weeks, true unconditionals... Nerfed thereafter. The fakes are still around from what I've seen.

Meh, I guess i did enough research a few years ago to know this... :S Hence why I think that r8 14% serpent is the best... It's legit, and.. yea.. skin? req? ... nuff said.

Well, I know the fact of the 15/-1 "wrong" unconds, and I know your theory Akh. Thing is that I heard some other theories, too. Still yours should be the most reasonable one of course
