Post Your Most Embarrassing GW Moment!

Did something really embarrassing happen to you on Guild Wars? Post it here! Please keep it Guild Wars related.
Here's mine:
First of all, I'm a ranger...
I was a noob (and still am) that had just boughten a bunch of scrolls and what not, to go on an Underworld party. Prior to that, I spent an hour or so just getting a few skills for the build I planned on using (that I found online): a trapper. I had never really used traps, because I didn't know how they worked, and they seemed quite slow. But I decided to use a trapper build, thinking the 'traps' were instantaneous debuffs (if that's the word) to enemy NPCs. I went for about an hour run standing behind my teammates using trap skills. I noticed I never really killed anything...
Later, when it was all over, I decided to look up traps some more, and decided to try them out more fluidly than I had before. I didn't know how they worked...
And so, when getting some Mandragors, I decided to test out a theory that putting down the traps, and drawing the creatures into the 'traps' (even though you can't see them) would set off the traps. I tried it, and when two Mandragor Slithers, ran into some traps I set, they got debuffed.
At that moment, I realized my complete noobness when I had gone to the Underworld >.<
But anyways, don't forget to post your most embarrassing moment!

Probably when I got a run to Yaks with my first character (prophecies) at level 17, and feeling like I'd accomplished something by getting there, having no knowledge of missions, the Wiki, or the fact that there was an actual storyline to follow, AND thinking there must not be much game left to play, since it took me three weeks of playing to get that far.
Yeah...nothing sank in until I started chatting with people with the above in mind.

i had a moment back when Factions first came out with the assassin. i had gotten a hold of a GPB req 8 15^50 20/20 30 and i was spamming to sell. then a guy asked to see it outside to see the skin. of course i did and he walked some distance away where he started to drop and pick up items to show off i thought. then stupid me fell for it and dropped my GPB :-( lol still havent seen it since lol

But most embarrassing gw moment would be...going to cap a skill and after ten minutes realizing I was the wrong secondary. sigh.

There have also been a couple times in the past week (iv been doing a lot of VQs lately) when i have gotten 30ish minutes into a VQ just to realize that im doing it in NM. I think i did this both in the wajjun bazaar and in the skyway. And i was wondering why the "vanquishes" were going so well...
Zodiac Meteor
I salvaged a req9 Demoncrest Spear from Frostmaws thinking it was junk. I salvaged 2 steel ingots when I could have gotten ~50e
Sparkmaster25
I would have to say the most Embarrassing thing I've ever done, is trying to vanquish and area, and getting half way through the vanquish doing awesome thinking I'm the greatest Vanquisher ever. Then Realizing I'm in Normal Mode.
Lord Dagon
i would say the most emberessing thing i had done was when i was a noob i got ahold of a zkey.. and decided to see what the chest gave me. Now, me being a total noob, i went to the check and got an el gelatinous tonic out of it. now, from what i ahd been told about the game most of the green items in the game were junk. So, being a very disappointed guy i went into gtob and sold the el gel tonic for about 2k. 2 days later i was bragging to a friend how i 'miraciously got 2k off this moron in gtob by selling my el gel tonic." Thats when i found out it was worth 70~90e...
that had to be the worst day ever....

Lol, I've forgotten to switch secondary before capping as well.
I don't know if it's allowed, but my most embarrassing MMO moment was in Perfect World when I got one of those rare bear-cup spawns - and there wasn't anybody else around to tame it - and then when it was time to call my pet back I used the wrong 'button' - and it killed the cup before it could be tamed.

I brought meteor, phoenix, flare, and inferno wherever I went in my newbie days.
On a ranger.
More funny than embarrassing- Whenever I have to take a dump in the middle of something like Urgoz or the UW, and I don't "get back" until like, 20 minutes later.
With a vamp weapon.

Hah, this happents to me all the time. Sometimes ill go cap skills and forget to bring a cap signet. Other times, ill bring the signet but forget to change the secondary. +1 here for forgetting to change secondary and zoning before capping an elite from a boss....and for forgetting to select HM for doing a vanquish.

This list is gonna be long:
Before I had any idea that Rune traders existed I found a sup Arbsorb (the time when it was worth 100k) and since it used to have -75 hp on it, I traded it away for 100 g. Thought I was clever until I told my guildmates who were actually quite understanding: "I'm sorry pal but you've been fooled..."
I didn't read the manual My ranger made its way to Kryta and I complained in Guild chat: "Crap, these undead are tough! Even though my bow does (about Krytan damage) they only take 1 or 2 damage!" They then asked: "Impossible. What's the requirement of the bow?" "Requirement?" I looked at the bow. "6 marksmanship? Wtf! I have 2 marksmanship and the rest is in Smiting Prayers!!" I did do good damage with my bane signet though
I once used a wammo, classical with healing hands, and it actually worked pretty well thank you for asking! A guy came up to me and called me a noob, so I challenged him to a 1v1, however at that particular moment, I used a farming build instead... I didn't realise until after the fight and when I told the guy "OMG I HAD WRONG BUILD ON! AGAIN!!" He said: "Yeah right. Listen pal if you just can't see your own mistakes, then there's no way to convince you and I would just be wasting my time against you" *blush*
I went to cap Maw the Mountain Hearts elite (Feast of Corruption). I did very well and even made it there. Then I realised I didn't bring Cap sig... I went back, brought cap sig and went back there... I was W/Me >.< 3rd time's the charm.
"Mini Devourer? Wtf is that? I don't need such a thing!" *drops in explorable* "Right! Back to LA where... omg is that guy buying those for 50 k?" (PS: Yes, first years used to be worth that, since they were new at the first year lol)
Tons of times vs Dhuum, never killed him XD Although this is partly because I was always in a party with minimum 3 leavers and 2 flame kids who thought they could charge an Aatxe and solo it without Prot spirit on...
I got loads more, but this is getting too embarressing >.<

Probably when I almost fell for the "let me see the skin outside" scam with a crystalline sword.. god I would have felt stupid if I hadn't realized it as soon as I did and picked it back up.
Now this next one didn't actually happen to me personally, but it is probably the one thing I will always remember from GW. If you see this, (you know who you are!) I'm sorry! :P
This one night me and a few guild mates were on vent just running around UW for fun just killing things as we went along, then when we were about halfway through the mountains area, right after we had killed a group of behemoths -- someone runs up into the giant mass of traps to pick up some loot. Dies instantly. Everybody bursts into laughter. Good times! I swear every time I think about that I laugh, that was such a fun day.

Me: "Look, the bonus is rather easy. We'll enter the zone and some plants will start attacking us. Whatever happens, don't kill them, or the bonus is gone."
Guildie: "Got it, easy as pie!"
Then I run in, get hit by a Jungle Guardian and simply kill him without thinking. C+Space...
Oh, and I had my fair share of elite capping trouble too.
My main character (a Warrior) cleared Prophecies with an embarassing Warrior/Elementalist build. I used to bring Water snares such as Ice Spikes to hold aggro better... As soon as I could, I capped Water Trident as an Elite. Good times. Well, at least, he wasn't a Wammo...

was with a guildie finishing the rilohn refuge mission. (nightfall was my first campaign) i was a dervish and i capped smoke trap... from that centaur in that mission. i thought i could daze The Drought using the trap but there was no need, i fueled its demise anyway since my guildie just raped it with pain inverter.
not to mention that i had like a superior rune of scythe mastery, mysticsm, earth magic and maybe wind prayers on at once. and because i was a dervish, i died a lot, and was still wondering why. doing insane amounts of damage and felling 3 insects in a few swipes was fun though
i think i had an encounter with a scammer that would have asked me to drop a weapon. i find a gold spear that had a crap skin but i had no idea of weapon value. i think the guy was expecting me to have a voltaic spear but since what i had was worthless, he did not ask me to drop it. i had heard of the scam before so i might have known not to drop it anyway.

My personal embarassing noob moment was back within my 3rd or 4th month of playing (back in 2006) when I was going to PvP and I thought I knew what I was doing because I had beaten the prophecies campaign. And I sat and argued with this guy. Granted, we were sitting in the AB outpost , but I didn't till a long time after that argument realize how terribly wrong I was.

My most embarrassing moment...
Probably when I had just started playing the game in Presearing Ascalon.
I completely ignored that academy mission and explored EVERY SINGLE area in Presearing Ascalon thinking I could find a way out of Ascalon.
When I finally realized i had to do the mission to get on with the game I did it and all my exploring progress in Presearing Ascalon was lost.
So basically I just a day's worth of exploring(keep in mind that I explored the same area more than once) and just lost everything.

I still do that to this day. It generally doesn't take me TOO long to figure it out, but I HAVE gone and killed the boss and everything only to find... no cap sig equipped. Yea.

My first GW game was Factions. Nightfall was out, but still fairly new. The first time I got to Kaineng Center, I saw someone buying daggers for 100k+ with some mods listed. I thought I had seen some collectible daggers with those mods, so I excitedly gathered up my collector items and traded them for some Dirks with stats matching what he was advertising.
I proudly opened up the trade window and popped them in. Of course, he didn't care as much about the stats as about the fact that he wanted "Celestial Daggers." I didn't know what difference skins made, so I thought matching stats would be fine. Of course, he closed trade window, said "lol dirks," and zoned.
I was pretty mad and thought he was a douche, but I'd have done the same thing. Oh well. Newbness ftw.

A long time ago, I got an invitation by some friends to join their DoA team as the ER Ele in their (then-popular) cryway team. I had no idea how to play this, since I completely missed the point of the build apart from the bonds. I asked how to play it, but to my dismay nobody knew either.
For example, there was the skill Burning Speed - why on hell should I use this as a backliner, even lose my life by burning? Run faster to save my life?
Restauration Aura - as bonder, I take no damage, so what's the use?
Why bonds upon myself? I stay far away, I take no damage!
Infuse? I lose half of my life, and such an expensive skill!
Ether Renewal - such an expensive skill, such measly energy gain, so short uptime. Useless. (ha!)
So I gave out about 6 bonds - the required 3 or 4 on the perma tank and 2 or so on the 2 cryers who took the most damage, and let the BiP fuel my energy. I never used Ether Renewal or any of the other skills. Instead, I was constantly casting and removing the bonds to handle my energy. And I waited for that special situation where I should use Energy Renewal. But It never came.
Hey, we managed to beat the city in hard mode! It only took one hour or so.
I swore to never do this as ER ele again. I knew I gave the worst performance ever.
Months later, when I read some articles about the awesomeness (and usage) of Ether Renewal, I realized how bad and non-understanding I really was that evening.
But I also wonder why nobody else on the team could explain the point of the build in one sentence. In no time I could even have gotten a sup. energy storage hat and an enchantment-weaponset and realize the principle of enchantment-stacking with Ether Renewal.

accidentally going into a Fort Aspenwood match with my pve build (any char). I refuse to leave a match for any reason (i think it's rude!) but trying to do some damage without anyone realizing what a crappy build I have. It is very embarrassing when someone notices and starts calling me a noob. Hate it.

Back when I started Factions was fairly new. I remember I was sitting in LA and some dude was selling daggers. I was like a lvl 12 warrior. I didn't even know Assassin's existed, so I asked if I could buy the dagger. I think he said something like 5k, which was all my money. I bought them, even though I was a Warrior lol. I ran outside of LA, tried killing some things. Didn't work. Asked some guildies 'what is dagger mastery?' got a reply saying it's an Assassin's weapon. I was all angry because I customized them and I was broke xD.
Also, I remember one time I was sitting in Yaks Bend. Was level 20 this time. Like 3 people were looking for runs to Beacons. I thought, being the nice person I was, to run them. Little did they know, I knew nothing about running lol. I took them through all the missions leading up to Beacons lol, they never left so I still assume they were happy with the service. Took up my whole afternoon >.<

I'm guilty of something similar - I was working with my alliance and doing this mission in HM. I decided to help out our team an popped a summoning stone shortly before we began the bonus section. Needless to say, it's very difficult to get your summoned Oni to stop wailing on the guardians... I apologized profusely, we went ahead and finished the mission and had to go back and run the bonus again and I was instructed to just "stay back".
