I'm guessing, since they mentioned the possibility of a new hero, that that might be the end reward of one of the content additions. That and new minis/costumes/consumables, most likely.

Likewise, adding a new hero or a new weapon set can be done without making any changes at all to the scoring system. It would simply give you another way to reach max points if you have not already done so.
It would hardly be fair to change the scoring system at this point. It would be a disaster for ANet to have told people that they had their 30 points and all rewards, then come back months later and tell them they suddenly only have 29 points. No matter what you think of ANet, do you really believe they would do something that monumentally (sorry) stupid?

Perhabs Anet recalls thooouuuusand of threads begging for a complete list of zodiac and celestial weapons. So perhabs we get Zodiac spear, scythe and focus, and celestial spear scythe and focus? Wouldbefunyes? Would fit the canthan theme, and wouldnt drive the whole community mad that they aren't addable to HoM. So instead of an exchange item just make it a rare drop.

Would be a nice addition if the made a repeatable quest like BLA but with kurz and lux faction to be earned. It won't be a problem to get some help from other people when that would be the case.
All this HOM stuff got mosts alliances and guild with lacking faction, would be nice to get some faction rewards when the story continues.

Sorry, but I just had to do it.
I will probably stick to pugs for speed clears. But, DoA is a good example of something I may do with heros. Because I always wind up with way more titan gems than margos in SCs, I can go farm margos by myself. But mostly it will help motivate me to finish my titles. I have ALOT of work to do for those last 3 points on my HoM
I'm most interested in the possibilites for team building with heros. I can maximize physical way or combine mesmer and spiritway. Cant wait to see what people smarter than me come up with on PvX

Are they expenting GW to get emptied of players anytime soon? GW2 would the only thing that would do that...

I think that GW:B would be continuing as long as Stumme (or whoever leads the Live Team after him) wants it to - so long as the GW1 servers remain up. GW:B and GW1's servers won't shut down the day GW2 is released. So yes, there will be time for the Canthan and Elonian content. And more. Even if they don't all come out before GW2's release.
And I think the full hero party was done more on the grounds that GW is an old game and that people who want to solo will just h/h anyways - so why not make it less annoying for them (especially when having to deal with low level henchmen such as in Kryta). And it allows better build customizations across the team(s). I don't think that is linked to GW2.

it seems that i'm not the only one thinking the way i do, and i'm not the only veteran who can say how the game was going down like mad after heroes came, and after eotn was completed by many people
many friends left cuz of the reason that the game was boring, and they all had their reasons, and i can tell some already came back, just cuz of the HoM calculator, and will also enjoy full hero teams
after this post, i guess i wont reply on your replies anymore, i hope you, too will have a good time with full hero party
