Rarity - Staff Skins

how common is the crytal skin earth staff? i have not seen many good gold ones...

Id merch that one also tbh, lol had few of those r9 which hasnt managed sell for 5k

And maybe this thread will help you get what they are worth. This is to train the lemmings and make them realize Bone Dragon Staff's are crap and everyone has one, why not own a rare staff and be different.

GoK seems to drop those Obsidian Staves. Iv got one from their before. Bone Dragon Staffs are crap why get something that ugly when could spend or farm for Dragon Staff that is alot rarer and looks alot nicer too.

I`m sorry for my newbness on earth staffs but i have no idea what a orrish or obsidain looks like.

It seems like all super rare staff skins come from Factions. Are there no rare Tyrian inherant skins to add to that list? or are they all so common that no one bothers to add them to any list?

The first Staff that can drop in Tyria I can see is in that list is the Raven Staff and Shadow Staff (second being core and not Tyrian core).

EDIT: The OP post links need to be fixed. The Shadow Staff tag links to the Destroyer staff in Wiki.

Where would Fuchsia staffs fall in the ranking? I don't see many of those. Or are you just doing non-inscription ones?

He crafts Raven Staves. They won't be gold, but neither are the Asuran, Norn or Charr staves when made from the crafters (and hence those three are impossible to get in gold).

The link for the Shadow Staff in the first post is wrong, you put the link to the Destroyer staff.

Why not do this kind of thread for other weapons? (Shields, Axes, Wands, etc)

Darcy the Fushia staff would fall under Tier 1 Common. Some common staffs of course do hold a value based on demand. Looks play in part for that demand. Fushia however is a drop from farming Vaetirs.

ive got req8 10/10 and req9 20/20...
and got quite a few 20/10's from chestruns in nearly any area in tyria...

not that rare imo... but still cool

Cleave, might want add in Insectiod staff and Ancient Moss Staves in that list in Tier 1-3.

Just sold an r11 illusion Raven staff 20/20. Have SS if needed for confirmation. I don't know how long i've had it but I remember it was from South Shiver.

I'm not sure if Forbidden staff's should be in the rare section, there were 7 that dropped during the zmission today, 6 of them gold and 4 of them went to me.

Shouldn't Amber and Jade Staves be higher in rarity. Iv seen in past that perfect modded like 20/10 etc.. can sell for 300e+. Cause it very rare to find one perfect in mods like that.

20/10 Jade and Ambers are as common as dirt imo. Even perfect matched req9 20/20 in those skins don't sell for *near* 300e.

Right, but how many of those are usable? 20/10 or matched 20/19 or 20/20? An inherent mod like 20% against disease doesn't count as a decent drop - other than for the wisdom title, it might as well be a white.

No because a Forbidden Staff with perfect mods is valuable. If this was based off drops alone then the Bo staff would be tier 1 since thousands of them drop daily in white. Forbidden only drop Grape & Gold and only from 1 place. You may need to spend a week chest farming there to get a decent modded one.



A 20/10 Jade or Amber staff in all honestly is worthless. Your information is wrong. A 20/20 Jade or Amber staff will have a hard time reaching 100k for a req 9 even.
