It's an interview with Live Team Lead John Stumme, along with artists Susan Jessup and Kristen Perry about costumes, but they do give a few hints about the follow up to Wik

its basically been said that Cantha: Winds of Change will be out before wintersday. because the costumes are part of that content, and the NEXT costumes after thats are going to be for wintersday. so i guess im happy, even though i haven't even started the WiK content.

I like the approach they took with the halloween masks. Very nice actually combined with the actual halloween costumes, more scary.

Cantha: Winds of Change
- Winds, erm, Jade Wind anyone? Thus thawing began? Also WoC sounds very canthanish, or more like canthan dish.

Wedding costumes ftw but I'm a bit confused, we have 3 events soon. Wedding, Wintersday & WoC. What's the order? I'd go with WoC starting around Canthan New Year, kinda makes sense.

I hope female characters have the option to wear top hats (mesmers especially). I know I'll be woefully disappointed if my mesmer can only wear a wedding dress (which I won't buy) and no spiffy hat. /begs Anet.

I don't think the Canthan stuff has anything to do with Shiro. If he was returning or attempting to return, its my personal belief that it would be mentioned in the lore already. (Gw1/Gw2 lore)

Naw, it's cantha so we'll have to have our lovely canthan AI...aka, Togo lagging behind then not following because we didn't listen to his long-winded dialogue nobody ever reads anyway, then Mhenlo running up to heal an NPC and getting spiked to death by the afflicted.

The last section of that interview was revealing. Stumme is talking about Wintersday costumes coming after "wedding" gear and/or events. That would lead me to believe we would be getting some kind of content release prior to December.

Don't get confused, it doesn't mean the Cantha Chapter will happen soon, only the return of Thackeray/the Wedding.
Its already mid November, so itll likely be in order of:

1. Thackerays return + Wedding Costume Set

2. Winterday + New Winterday Costume Set

3. GW:Beyond Cantha Chapter + Costume Set

Is it possible that maybe Emperor Kisu is getting married and that Keiron might still be lost for a while.

To me it seems like the Emperor getting married would be a great way to start GW:Beyond in Cantha.

Well...there is already a monument to him in Tahnnakai Temple. Maybe we could bring some stuff to his monument and his spirit is summoned.

OMG it reminds me of a small fanfic involving my characters that i made where My main gets married to another but then the wedding there is trouble.
I imagine them saying about does anyone object to the marriage then there being a battle...but one can dream.

I like how the Mad King hasnt neccessarily wanted to come back on his own but more of the lunatic playing up. People think Shiro again because the canthan crisis but theres also the Lich too i suppose. I dont think Mad King will come back and never really did as it would make halloween less special and the whole kind of automated process of him playing his games would seem like a wasted effort.

Maybe Rurik...

I've also stated that because of the original costume icon there should be a top hat and suit available for smart occasions and its about time they did. Aww SUITTT UP

I especailly like the insight into the game mechanics about why masks aren't dyable and how helmets differ from dervish hoods..quite fascinating.
The final paragraph is very interesting as it gives the intention that the costumes they are making for wintersday will come..AFTER the wedding has taken place and that the wintersday ones would probably be for the other gods. Also...What is Gwens surname? OMG just had an idea...maybe Gwens mum will be returning

We were just talking about a lich with the mad court. You know, like the vizier of Orr who would surely love to return to Tyria. As mentioned in the article, the Canthan stuff and the Madcap are completely unrelated, that's why they introduced it with halloween so it was made clear.

But...the frog is still around. He just doesn't talk anymore.
He's in LA by the storage chests on the hill and also in Wizard's Isle guild hall. I'm pretty sure theres a few other places, just can't remember them right now.
