Hearts of the North - the next Guild Wars Beyond chapter

<_< The wedding may as well be canceled with such a break in between quests.

I've always had a fondness for the crack pairing of gwenxpyre. It would be funny if in the wedding dialogue he suddenly burst into the scene, yelling, "gwen there is only room for one ranger in your life and it is me! You make me burn when even titans couldn't!"
Women fainting at the scene, duels to the death atop a castle a la beauty and the beast...
Oh! An alternative, Jora rushing into the wedding declaring, "Thackeray, you are the father of my child!" Gwen slapping Thackeray admist his protests, "it was so long ago, I was by myself up in the north! I was lonely!"

More seriously, there's a lot of hate for Gwen but I figure she's like the Holocaust survivors I've read about who moved to the US after the war. Even though most managed to hold jobs or get degrees and raised families, they never completely got over their experiences; many were unable to fully trust other humans ever again. Maybe Gwen is doing pretty well for someone who lost her whole family and nation, and survived slavery and abuse.
Anyway, this is one noob's take on the situation.

I have a preference for using the two of them together in my hero teams even if it's not the team doesn't have the best synergy. Just something about the two of them hating each other but having to get along and work together because I said so.

Let's not bring the Holocaust into this. :-P

We'd also expect to see the progress of technology over time. In 250 years, we should expect improved technology. Asuran golemancy should be more advanced. Charr weaponry should advance beyond the siege devourer and bombs. Siege turtles and kurzick weaponry could also be expected to be much more advanced than present, even though we won't see them at least in the beginning of GW2. If they aren't greatly advanced, or even regressed and technology and knowledge is lost, we need a lore reason for why? Was there a catastrophic event that wiped out certain critical knowledges? Why? When? What has happened in the ensuing time to recover as much as possible of that lost knowledge?
When you build a world, you have to answer all of these questions and many more. Even if only a small handful of fans learn the entirety of your world and its lore, you do not want to leave them with glaring inconsistencies or gaps that don't have a lore-supported reason. Your world becomes less believable and you lose some of your player base.
The reason Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is so popular is because he fashioned a world that the reader could get lost in. Anne McCaffrey did the same thing with P.E.R.N. I'm sure I could find other authors and works to include, but those two I know off the top of my head without even trying.
TL;DR - In short, yes, seriously. A wedding. It's part of life on Tyria. It's about time we saw more than just war and fighting.
