Ok so I broke down and bought the wedding party costume pack simply for the top hat

First off the price made me question purchasing it at all..

and yes the guy char's seem to only have 1 costume really.. the differences being the wedding tux has a towel thrown on his back, a string round his waist and an inch taller top hat vs the dapper and formal tuxes

the female costumes seem ok but I was a bit disappointed in the dapper tux for my girl characters.. there something going on with the bust on normally larger busted characters.. say an ele. The coat looks almost football playerish where as on an assassin char it looks much better(and they have quite a small chest)... I was really looking forward to that costume.. maybe there's a bit too much padding in the chest but to me it just looks off (which it didn't look on the character displaying it in the NCsoft store)

either way my male chars can pull of their tuxes and the girls will more then likely only wear the top hat

I cant get the 3rd quest item to spawn. Same problem as I had yesterday with the 2nd item. Gwen loops her dialogue and the quest won't progress.

Before you tell me to zone in and out of the Hall, or listen to the full dialogue, or change districts, or add heroes... i've done it all to try and get her to stop talking.

This is getting really frustrating, and turning me off this content.

just finished third solo and it left my hand shaking. im not good at soloing unless i can use spirit spam. xD you travel to where the bonus is in aurora glade. cant wait for the 4th item/quest! xD

I still can't get the second quest. Gwen is still in my HoM infinitely repeating the same dialogue that spawned after I completed the first quest.

The medal isn't in Majesty's Rest either.

I feel your pain Scarlett. I was miraculously able to get the 2nd quest today after experiencing the same problem as you yesterday. But of course, now I'm getting the same bug when trying to start the 3rd.

I had the same problem, read In this thread that I must change districts. Changed from AM to EU got it and carried on. So try the same?

For those of you with the looping gwen.

Do the quest from the scrying pool again. "Show me the story of the arrowhead".
When you finish the quest and get the 5 war supplies, allow it to teleport you back by waiting the 15 seconds.
Make sure gwen stops the dialogue this time. (Don't leave early on anything.)
Then go get the second item.

(This has worked every time for those who I have assisted.)

To the people who are having issues with finding the arrow head, have you guys tried teaming up with someone who CAN get the item to spawn? This way, you can both still "talk" to it...

What I found in quests with dialog is that you much have patience and wait for whole dialog to finish before leaving cause if you leave when it ends but it not done than quest wont update must listen to all over again. During Wik quests I left zone after dialog was done but there was more to it which cause quest to not update.

4th item - Shining Blade Cloak - location:

In the mission as Keiran that you get after you find the 3rd item don't go back at start, you or Miku can get stuck.

Things I've tried:
Re-doing the quest, and zoning with the timer.
Re-doing the quest, and map travelling.
Listening to Gwen's dialogue once.
Listening to gwen's dialogue multiple times.
Listening to her full dialogue.
Zoning as soon as I load in and not listening to any dialogue.
Re-zoning in and out of my HoM multiple times.
Changing districts.
Adding heroes.
Equipping the Keiran bow.
Not equipping the Keiran bow.

Any other suggestions?

I started out really terrible, too, and I main a ranger >_< These are the simple strategies that got me through the thick of it:

Spamming the interrupt skill. Even if a target is just bleeding, use it. You can kind of ignore skill 2, since I think it just cripples, and it's slow. If a target is hexed, that means your buddy marked it, so use skill 1.

If you're overwhelmed, use Nature's Blessing and then run (you want to heal Miku, too, but she'll auto-rez). My guild leader was pretty successful and is pretty much a casual player, by hitting and running.

I do have to say though, this is no pushover. Another friend of mine threw in the towel earlier today after unsuccessful tries.

Got a bow from Gwen
Examined Scrying Pool & took "Show me the story of the arrowhead"
Waited to be teleported back to HoM after countdown timer finished
Currently in Hom with Gwen looping her cute little butt off
Any idea how many loops before she quits?

Edit: more than 15 minutes & she still repeating herself.
Hope for a fix soon.

Are you serious? I just don't believe this. The builds those two have are so damn overpowered and unless you pull like Koss on drugs the groups are easily dispatched one at a time. A lot of them can be even avoided.

Anyways, is there any content after the proposal? Or do we have to wait like WiK?

This. Even rushing into a mob isn't deadly as long as you kite rangers and use your skills properly. I've never played a ranger besides this year's CB, but that tab is just too powerful to die with.

BUG: last update introduced Inquisitor Lovisa and Inquisitor Lashona for all chars, even those that had already done them. Inquisitor Bauer wasn't added. Ah well, easy supplies I guess.

Edit: guildie reported Inquisitor Bauer was available to him to do a second time...

No easy supplies for me... I did the Lashona quest, but no reward from Salma.

i think they just reset the WiK questline for all chars, to some degree atleast, because i was able to redo Lovisa and Bauer, but not Lashona(the one i did last)

I know I do overestimate, but it's as drkn said - even if you pull too many most of the time you can just tough it out and snipe them off. I died once when I tried running through a group after Miku died and ended up getting another group and body blocking myself. So in other words, you have to play really horribly, or intentionally make it harder on yourself to actually die. Or just watch TV at the same time and hold W. Those would be the only ways I can think of to fail these quests.

something i noticed with the inquisitor quests, they ask you to talk to princess salma, not queen salma. if you have finished bfla you can't get the quest reward unless you go into lions arch keep with someone that's still in the middle of wik.

edit: i should add i just confirmed this because i was done wik and had to go with someone who was doing it to get my rewards.

Whee I'm having fun redoing the missions for rep /war supplies :T

Oh and to those people that can't seem to start the second (or 3rd item or w/e) quest. Just keep rezoning in and out (triggering the dialogue once) of the HoM xD She'll stop eventually. She looped for me after every quest :S It took me a few tries, but I didn't change the district or add/drop heroes : P Dunno if that helps or not D|
