PLEASE NOTE - This was the "does it exist?" question I included in the original post of this thread when I first started it. I am reposting it here because the original post of this thread is to become an index of all the Q/A from all of this thread, not simply my question.

Wiki claims all except "Staff Wrapping of Fast Casting" do exist, though; of course, wiki can be incorrect. Can anyone show us any or all of those three particular staff wrappings? Personally, I've been hunting for signs of these three over a year now. I've yet to see any of them. Given the claim on wiki that all but one of these elusive beasts do exist, I'm wondering if perhaps the SR and ES wraps used to drop but don't anymore.

Might be fake though. Quality of screen is bad and guy is banned in forums... idk. On the other hand: if they wanted to make a troll/show off: why did they fake a crappy blue oni blade? Also Gold Value (83 gold) looks kinda good for a req7 (as it's very low)
@The Mountain: Those only exist for inherents, no inscriptions like those around. (Maybe they mixed it up with +15nrg/-1red?!)

No species armor inscriptions. That's only a classic mod :P And the 15/-1 mods are also only inherent. No inscriptions have ever been noted on those for either health or energy degen. It would be quite interesting to be proven wrong but alas... Burden of proof lies with the person claiming they are real.

So here's another, "no, I don't think they exist" for
- inscriptions that give 10 armor vs. species
- inscriptions that give dmg +15% with the condition of -1 health or energy regen.
- similarly, no inscriptions that give dmg +15% unconditional.
There has been and still is A LOT of inscribable gear going through the market. I think it's pretty safe to say that if anything appeared with such inscriptions, we'd know about it by now.
With regards to them perhaps appearing during NF preview, I doubt that, too. Of course, nothing from the NF preview stayed in game, so even if they did occur then, they still do not exist now. There wasn't access to storage during the preview, and ANet wiped inventories and progress on all characters created during that preview weekend. Given that people explored and listed all manner of things they found on the wikis during the preview, I think if there had been such inscriptions even then we'd see historical evidence of it on wikis somewhere.
Note/Disclaimer - that Priest of Balthazar trick does not work quite as well for weapon suffix mods. He never has the slaying suffix mods available to unlock at all. Those are PvE-only. With that exception, I think the rest of this prefix and suffix mods will tell you what is and is not possible in PvE, too.

I agree that this thread will likely be rather chaotic, and any individual question is often easier to ask and answer in a separate thread. The trouble is, relatively few people see each of those threads. The answers get buried, so the next guy with that question winds up asking it again. That's my motivation for keeping a thread like this with multiple questions - the traffic and potential benefit of more people learning more interesting GW trivia.
I don't want to discourage relevant discussion here, but I'm hoping we can keep the list in the OP helpful to those just joining the discussion or just looking for a quick answer to something we've already "answered" here.
FWIW - the r7 sword thing going on ... I never quite found where that question was posed, but I will work on getting something relevant to the discussion on them into the OP next time I update.

First, I don't know why it's still being debated - remember: max stats req.7 cannot drop anymore since the nerf, even as a white.
This is something completely 100% certain, there's not a 0.000001% chance of that happening since the nerf. That's just how the drop generation system works, I have explained that in detail many times in other threads.
The staff wrappings of +1attribute(xx%) have always used the same list of possible attributes as the inherent HCT/HSR mods, they also have always excluded Fast Casting, Energy Storage and Soul Reaping. Also I think there's no reason to think just one of them could have dropped at some point but not the others.

I checked some things on the inscr. Shadow Staves, and I now know of a req10 smiting (gold), req12 smiting (gold) and my guildie "i dealer i" claims to have a req9 Domination one (he was too lazy to look for it last time, but I'm quite optimistic we can deliver a screenshot within the next days ). I know Gutemuh doubts that, but I have strong reasons to believe him.

Speaking of random purple insc weapons that are only supposed to come from FoW, I tried my hand at this quest because I was bored as heck anyways. First try: Q13 Shadow Blade, purple, insc. This means Q8 max insc Shadow Blades should drop...do want.

Do non-inscribable maxed r8 offhands (+12 energy) or shields (16AR) still drop, or are all maxed r8 drops confined to EotN and NF and therefore doomed to be only inscribable?
A Screenshot with the still assigned drop and an EotN Hero in the party / EotN Skill on the skill bar would be great as proof.

Edit: For shadow staves it's still questionable if they can drop with primary (z-chest) attributes only, or with "all" attributes there.

Yawgmoth's explanation earlier about them being the same list of possibilities as what inherent HCT mods can exist on loot from Prophecies and Factions staffs makes sense based on what I've seen. (Note there's a different list of attributes which are possible requirements for staffs.)
On another note, thanks for the feedback and the continued q/a going on here. I will try to go through everything and get the OP updated soon.

And I don't know... I guess they could exist very rarely. Don't the Jade Brotherhood guys near Marketplace drop Serpent Axes sometimes? Anyways... most of them were from Tutorial Island where no max damage could drop in "req8 times" (for Axes). Never seen one, too. I'll add a very similar question: any req8 max dmg crude axes known?

Max canthan Serpents are now common thanks to Hard Mode and low reqs' still drop with low dmg.
