Maybe an announcement on the login where the dev team claims to have reviewed the 'state of the game' and in light of their deliberations will be rolling back some features/changes that have contributed to 'power creep' over the years...
Once logged in you'll notice that all heroes are gone, all your inscribable weapons aren't inscribable any more, Ritualists are now Monks, Assassins and Dervishes are now Warriors, Paragon characters are just GONE, all skills added since the release of Prophecies have been removed, all Core/Prophecies skills have been reset back to how they were at release...
That would be an April Fool's to remember.

How about changing us into how we mostly play, farmers change into dungarees, straw hats and pitchforks. Runners get spandex. Beggars get a Big Issue. Power Traders turn into Gordon Geko. Etc. etc.

I hope we get something similar to an invasion in town... Every 10 min or so a few hundred enemies would spawn, kill everyone (including NPCS) and after 1 min, they leave and you respawn. Or enable PvP in towns, giving a fake new faction every kill which you can turn in for good items at a non-functioning NPC.

How about removing all dye from armor. Or the title we have to carry around all day tells everyone how often we died or how many hours we have played

It wouldn't surprise me if ANet turned all male characters into Ooze and all female characters into Rats as they used to run around Lion's Arch and other towns before and somewhat after Eye of the North was officially released.

Make changing secondaries on characters a new RMT. $10 gets you 10 secondary changes. Its not like its paying for an advantage, after all anyone could just remake a character with a new secondary.

Bring back attribute refund points, but instead of earning them via XP or mission completion, sell them in the online store... 8 refund points for $9.99 or a full 24 points for 'only' $19.99.

If your not from the uk - Big Issue is a magazine thats produced and usually sold by the homeless and would be the uk version of beggers sitting and asking for 1 pound each time and usually you have several in town selling.
