yes a weeee bit of a heads-up would have been nice. (I checked on the official site which is linked to that code and it said nothing current---good thing they update that regularly).

if your friend has multilaunch then he needs to delete the multi folder and relaunch GW from the original folder.

I just shut it down and run my short cut with the -image switch. Made an -image shortcut for the GWCopy directory too. Haven't had to delete anything in the 3 months or so that I've been using it in Win7. YMMV obviously.

Don't fret, GW is down for me as well and I am not running mutli launch
