Do we get another hero?
Charlie Dayman
Finished the third chapter a little while ago. Overall, this chapter was pretty fun to play with some nice and funny dialogue in between. Don't really care for the the look of the Imperial Weapons, but that's just my personal taste. Trying to figure out what the heck I'm gonna' do with all these requisitions.
The only thing I can say I'm disappointed about is that...
Other than that, WoC was fun and I thank John Stumme and the rest of the Anet team for putting it all together for free!

New offhand dagger, in the place of a shield, will have to see how it works in combat.

The story was nice and I like the new items, I hear stories of hidden stuff too
HoM compatability for the last 2 new heroes is still needed though and same counts for the new weapons, if they can't go in, I won't get them tbh.
And sadly no tengu were remembered in my hall
But, the update is still fresh I'll just lurk in the fora and wiki to see what it has to offer more than shiny stuff.

Fun fact: that weapon is the same one that the guard gets stabbed through the chest with. At one point in time, we were considering adding it as a sword (I wanted to call it "Guardsbane") but we ultimately decided that was taking things a little too far. XD
Icy The Mage
I knew it looked familiar, I can't tell you how many times I've talked to that NPC in Minister Cho's Estate telling him to "replay the cinematic" so I can see him get stabbed in the chest and the branch just wiggle around... lol

It is madness I tell you, madness.

Spear got nerfed -.- dropped the 30hp....
Okay, all my respect for WoC 3 has been lost. I liked the spear, the quests were decent, but the disappointment outweighs the niceness -.-

^Was expecting a quick nerf to the spear, or else it would have been broken.
I've been enjoying part 3; the two quests I've done so far are fun and distinct from each other, and I like how there are so many rewards. I'm expecting great fun from this, and it already seems an improvement over part 2, which I liked a lot as well.

enjoying it- the only complaint i have is: why can't we get anything woc related with all these imperial commendations? Please let us trade them in for ministerial ones.

1. Help a ranger guardsman to take on MoP waves from 2 sides.
2. Solo quest, hear the plan of Am Fah And Jade Brotherhood then run away.
3. Defend Kaineng Center from the bandits and kill the 2 factions' leaders.
4. Help peasants from the attack of the remaining bandits.
5. Escort people from MoP.
6. Fight the Tengu waves.
7. The Final confrontation.
Did I miss anything?

Gold Imperial Staff... I had a hero who needed something anyway.
If this is already posted somewhere, my apologies.

I think the quest is a little bit too rushed, why would Reiko face us alone when she still got so many troops?

While I like the little twists like a dagger that works like a shield, it doesn't change the fact there's practically no innovation when it comes to items - it's more of the same, again and again and again.
It's such a great shame that in over 5 years, including a large expansion (EotN) there have been almost no new weapons added that I'd really want to get (only more of the same with different, not really "better" looks) and that the biggest addition to the game item-wise that made me enjoy it for a moment almost like it was 2005 again was something unintended (the Mausoleum 2010 incident). Shame that most of the coolest "virtual treasures" to hunt for are things of the past coming from 2005-2006 content, and many not dropping anymore at all. I don't believe it's impossible to innovate without making things that would be strictly better than what's currently the best.
At least the gameplay of the new quests is pretty enjoyable, but I don't see myself doing it more than once.

Two side quests from Lei Jeng
Mesmers Are Bad
MithranArkanere
So many new bling, so little time!
I hope they eventually add repeatable quests, because I find walking around killing enemies for trophies rather boring when there's no objective in the quest log.

OK, here's how I feel about the quests in NM.
1 not hard, the melt before my DPS and the help of Jinnai
2 I failed quit a few times because not knowing the distance you should stay in during the dialog and the route to run out.
3 Just be aware of the bosses' AOE, especially Reisen the Phoenix wiped my party once, gladly we were able to rez up and finish him.
4 Easy
5 Easy
6 The most difficult one in part 3, wiped me twice so I dropped my ST rit and bring another MM and use the bomb a lot then finished it.
7 It's like a joke, Reiko seems unkillable but she not causing much trouble to my team and all the sudden she's dead.

Are you really surprised they would fix that? And even still, that little change has ruined all of the third part of WoC for you? Really?

The quests were fun, the mobs were done well, but it's just not new. The spear brought something cool: the hope that they would introduce new, cool greens with controversial stats or stuff like that. With the fix, all that hope was lost. I thought they'd nerf it, but I could hope... Oh I could hope.. All we got was some very uninteresting greens aside from the dagger/shield and the bo staff/scythe (which should be dealing blunt damage btw, not slashing, try slashing someone with a stick..) and some new mini's. Woop-di-fcking-doo.
I had fun, but it was only for a very short amount of time and the anti-climax made it meh.

Hey, John. This isn't exactly related, but can you and your team make it so we can go into the Shenzun Tunnels from Tahnnakai Temple, at least for the Remaining WoC? It's annoying to have to go from Xaquang Skyway just to get to Miku. (Don't bother with the Sunjiang District - too much resistance that way.)

You may as well complain that the Imperial sword has the same max damage as your old sword, Waaaaaaaaaa! That's how ridiculous your complaint is.
HigherMinion
Does the off-hand dagger do any damage? What does it do to your attacks? Make every attack a double-strike or what?

Opened 5 lockboxes, got the plague-soaked stave, Xun Rao's Justice (wand with katana skin (yes, that's right, a REAL caster sword!), all primary reqs, +5en > 50% hp, 10% hsr all) and Xun Rao's Absolution:
Sick hammer skin. Mods aren't ideal but good enough for PvE.

I have wanted that skin ever since I saw the stone whatevers carrying it. Dang, now I will have to open a bunch of boxes and get a bunch of greens I don't want.

When you complete the Final Encounter in HM Zei Ri becomes you're third ritualist hero.
