What did you get from your 7th year birthday present?

Hello. I figured this question is on a lot of our minds, wondering what others got from there gifts! So, post what you got here, include screenshots (if possible) so we can see what they give!

I haven't heard a single thing about 7th year bday presents if they even exist

Opened two 7th year b-day presents. Main was an Eye of Janthir. Alt was a Freezie. Recycling minis ftw???

I still suggest people stop posting about supposedly getting old minis without proof

The anniversary isn't until the 28th I think. No one should be getting presents yet.

I can't believe they would intentionally recycle minis when there are already a glut of them out there - wonder if this is a bug. Maybe people should wait to open for a few days and see.

Perhaps they want to pump more minis into the market so as to get everyone's HoM in a state ready for GW2 because they know that if you don't want, you would probably sell/give to someone else who does.

I remember opening my first gift and getting one of those. /sad face

I got random d/cs and 040 errors from my birthday presents.

Seems if they really wanted to do that there would be a less disappointing way to accomplish it - like having a new set of minis. And why are there so many purple ones? Purple doesn't count any differently toward the HoM than white. Not sure pumping minis in is even necessary since chars are still turning 1-5 everyday and bringing in these old minis anyway. (I suppose it could be to avoid duplication with all the whites already in the HoMs - but, good grief, in my guild we cant even give an unded shaman away for love or money. Everyone has a ded one already)

If they really wanted to recycle old gifts I think the thing to do would have been to wait for one more year after people are into gw2 and then let everyone know in advance that from 8 onward gifts will be random recycles from previous years.

I think it's more likely they want to get GW1 into a cyclic state that requires little/no maintenance, and with no new development needed (like creating new tonics or minis)

yeah that is a very sad way to abandon gw...good thing I have to wait until this summer to get more hydras and joras (got FOUR joras--and yeah purples are totally worthless).

guess my only surprise will be if I ever see a green birthday mini when I open a birthday gift

Looks like the one year i won't make a killing selling off new minis... like it would matter... HoM is done

This b-day event is lame all around for players that don't need piles of title points... at-least there beta....

On the 'up' side at least there will be a lot of otherwise unwanted purple,gold and green minis being dumped into the game that we can give to new players who recently took up GW1 simply to earn their HoM goodies.

ehh it will dump minis in yeah... but not at anymore of an increased rate as before.... not that many characters around turning 7 anyway..... at-least they didn't recycle tonics instead....
