There is nothing in the EULA that prohibits running directly. As long as it is given as a service, and only paid with in-game money, it seems to be perfectly fine. An employees word is not law unless it coincides with the EULA from what I have learnt.
However if you are intent on wiping out all running services. I guess you can argue that many runs are exploitive in nature. Some even regard running itself an exploit, due to its exploitation on the zoning mechanics. It is up to you. |

I don't think there is any reason to speculate over what they banned for. If it says third party modification/botting you were obviously flagged for said activities. However, Anet has a pathetic track record of dropping the ball on monitoring flagged players and instead of investigating whether or not the player in question was ACTUALLY botting, they're just clicking ban flagged accounts. I feel like instead of wasting time wondering what we were banned for we need to focus time on getting a hold of people who can DO something about this error.

It seems like you're walking in circles over and over again, as many pages ago I've already pointed to you the reason which most-likely have caused the blocking in your case, that is the breach of the 24th Article of RoC. What I still don't get is the thing you're exactly trying to achieve by discussing it with the passing-by strangers here instead of resolving the situation by maintaining a direct conversation with Guild Wars Support.

To Cosyfiep: if you know you did nothing wrong, why would the waiting time make you feel anyhow inconvenient, if you believe a mistake was made and review of the case is actually possible? Yes, it would probably take many months, not only a single one to get it all settled down, but in the end, what you did doesn't seem to qualify for a permanent termination of the account, at least that's how it appears to me from the story you told here. However, I truly don't see the point of over-extensively walking around it in this thread.

Did I say anything about the absence of reason, which was pointed out once more a few posts above to you? I have spoken of scalable severity for various breaches of the rules, not of how someone who deems him/herself innocent for the faults they might unknowingly committed should not be temporarily blocked for crossing the line at all. There is a difference between these two circumstances, really. Whether you accept it or not, that's the situation you're currently in, and exchanging your concerns with GMs after they have provided you information associated with the suspension of your accounts is the only way which might help to resolve this in a positive outcome for you, the alternate options aren't here, no matter the urge with which the stories of undoubted innocence are delivered through this forum.
