Also, you'd primarily be rewarding botters, as characters used for botting end up with far more skill points than regular players could ever come near acquiring. So whatever you reward regular players with you'd be rewarding botters with a whole lot more.

For me, it's the acknowledgement of being a part of the community for such a long time and the hopes to see more. As I stated earlier, I'm just as happy with them finishing up the loose ends of any storylines (Evennia) and skill fixes instead of minis and whatnot.
Although I won't complain if things like that are given out and I imagine it's a lot easier to shrink an existing model for a gift then it would be to build another story to play through.
Hopes are high, expectations are low... I think that'll save me from any potential disappointment.

and yeah, we DO expect stuff. The game is still playable as well as STILL offering rewards in the other game, so yeah, we expect there to be stuff here as well.

I just completed Gate of Desolation in NM without any bonuses and got 1 Proof of Legend.

Shiro and Augury Rock both in NM give proofs. Received from both.

You get 1 proof per character (for a single mission). It doesn't matter if you do NM or HM you'll get 1 either way.

You can trade 1 Proof of Legend to Palora, Sworn To Earth, to unlock the Anniversary Panel.

Hmm so my plan was to spam Augury Rock mission to get Proofs but it doesn't seem to work. I'm not getting Proofs for subsequent mission completion. Is it limited to 1/mission?

Yes 1/mission per char, so you can make illimited new chars in the campaign you want if you want to

So looking at the pic on page 4 there's grey proofs and black ones. I've only seen the grey ones so far. Are the black ones from something else?

It seems you can't get the extra storage pane if you already have the Anniversary Pane from earlier. Palora only gave me a Blessing of War (Balth wep token) for showing her the Proof.

Some Balthazar weapons seem to be bugged at the moment and won't accept any weapon mods to be added (inscriptions work fine). Tested with a shield myself and other players confirmed that the focus and wand do not work either. Hoping for quick fix...

so you can pick up that anniversary storage pane, then get a weapon.
I suggest if you have a desire for a certain weapon on a certain character that you put the proofs into storage and then hop onto that character as you can put them into storage (tried it out just to be sure). That way you wont wind up with some really nice daggers for anton or a new shiny sword for koss
