"nub", "n00b", "noob" combined with different curses, is the word that I hate the most.
People can call you a noob just because you don´t agree with them, or want to something differently, or for making a mistake, which every human being does on a daily basis. Can´t understand why some people react so strongly as soon as someone makes an mistake. IT´S A GAME, not the end of the world.
Sure, if you played UW or FoW for a few hours and someone makes a stupid mistake and get you killed, you can get a little bit mad, but not mad enough to insult that person. Atleast that´s my opinion.
Have to agree with the person that couldn´t stand words like lmao, rofl and so on, they are a bit over the top. A simple lol, or haha, hehe, is quite sufficiant.

A better word and what they actually are is "Avatar". You think fo the picutre under your name on forums, but "Avatar" really means "An Incarnation or Embodiment of something in Human form". Your character onscreen is your Avatar. (The forum word comes from the fact that you are SUPPOSED to put your picture in the avatar space- thus it being a representation of you).

Once in Ascalon Arena way way back, just fighting away as you do, got beat came back, doing well enemy monk dies.. Then the warrior (not wammo was Gale) stands over the body and starts yelling "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL" over and over..
Im standing watching thinking to myself what the hell is going on... Then warrior dies and they all stand over the warrior yelling "ROOOOOOOOLLLLLLLEEEEDDDDDDDDD"
The other warrior in team thinks its fun and kills the 2 mesmers that killed before said warrior and yells "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL"

LFG of GLF annoying??? Perhaps I thought it was annoying before I figured out what it meant, but I'm not sure I understand why people would find it annoying. Considering the limited number of text characters that can be "shouted" out on the "all chat" they are very useful abbreviations in my opinion. I'd rather see "LFG for mission and bonus" instead of "Looking for group for miss...."
Actually, now that I think about it I find cutoff sentences in the "All Chat" to be very annoying because you don't know exactly what the heck someone is trying to say. And not to deviate from the threads topic, but I find it annoying when you join a group and are on a mission and teammates forget to switch from "all chat" to "team chat".
