As an aside, Best Buy updated their information to be more accurate - specifically, that you do not need the original game to play. That's slightly comforting.

That's all well and good, but the pre-order is officially released in 4 days. There's been a lot of talk about being patient and waiting for information from the Anet devs, and Alex and Gaile have practically cut and paste that mantra in every post they have made. However, it is highly unfair not to give us confirmed and final info on some of the things that us GW C1 supporters desire, especially since we have to make our decision to buy the new chapter when the Pre-order comes out. I don't want to waste money (be it $1 or $10) on a pre-order only to find out that the new chapter will not meet my expectations and decide not to buy it.

We deserve the right to know:

1) exactly how many character slots will be available when C1 and C2 are combined on one account
2) how much inventory storage will be alloted for accounts whether they have one or both chapters
3) the exact contents of the Pre-Order and the CE, including if different retailers will have different Pre-order items as was done for C1

I'm sure others can add to this list, but those are my main three points that I think we as consumers have a right to know prior to making a purchase.

I share the same concerns regarding the Pre -order as well as concerns regarding A Net's ability to effectively police and maintain the balance of the game economy. Chapter 1 was the test bed. Problems exist. Logically those problems should be addressed in Chapter 2 but still no words from A Net except the "please be patient and don't believe everything you read on a fan site." mantra mentioned above. I already bought my pre order but it's still not too late to get my money back on it.
