The Gwen goes Psycho thread [MERGED]

It's cute, but it's also part of the reason I don't stay up to watch the server go down anymore. As anyone who has gone on missions with me knows, I tend to be very, very hard to kill. I don't even want to try and recall the number of times i've been the last one alive to rez everyone so we could press on and ultimately succeed. That being what it is, my death counts tend to stay nice and low .. right where I want them. So multiple, multiple deaths on my part (both during, and after the events) is a little counterproductive to my cause.

I hold some special attachment to my characters .. they aren't just graphics and numbers, so i'm not really keen on watching them be helplessly slaughtered. So, I watched the Dragons special on Animal Planet, then called it a night.

Granted, i've only been awake for 3 hours, but that's still the most amusing thing i've seen all day. Apparently Gwen isn't a big fan of choreographed dance sequences.

All I can say is.. I'm glad I decided to record that.

Wow.. I had to leave before thigs shut down, but now I wish I hadn't... Never would'a thought Gwen would be the Hand of God in this game... ^_^ I s'pose that's one way for the mods to give the smackdown on problem players... ^_^

I'm sorry I didn't take pics. Didn't realize the beta was ending. I was in new pvp area and though it was something that happened there.

That's just crazy.

But, Something went weird with the video on my end: When the credits started rolling, the video and sound konked out. Everything else played fine, but just not after that point. This was on WMP 10, so I can't think what happened.

What's funny is I saw some monk women (nuns? ) doing the same thing earlier. The Necro ladies were more spectacular since there were more of them. ^_^

Hahaha, I had just finished some drake hunting with William of Orange so when we got back we decided to go to our guild hall. All of the sudden, Gwen comes out and destroys us all. Then, we somehow respawn in the middle of our island and I grab the flag which I had no idea what to do with. Of course, Gwen came a skippin' at us for round two so I did what anyone else who was runnin on 4 hours of sleep late at night would do: Run like a banshee with no conscious until the possessed floutist was out of sight. Alas, I am pleased to have the eternal memory of surviving armageddon due to a level 1 pyromaniac with a flute.

Well.. there has been a ton of positive feedback on the video.
So, thank you to everyone. This was the first site it was posted to. It has since reached websites all around the world, and been downloaded over 6000 times from my website alone. I've been told that everyone at NCSoft and ArenaNet love it.. although have not gotten any personal feedback from any of them. I'm glad I could contribute something like this to the community.

as for my own Gwen "experience".... she was only my second death on my count (I don't like dying either..prefer to keep my chars alive)

last Bwe I was out doing quests when servers shut down..missed that..this time.. I came into town..never having known about her before and thought " hmm wonder what she's doing here?" went over and clicked on her....OOPS
...NOT doing that again.....after the initial shock wore off that my body was a burnt smear on the ground... I got my char back by switching towns... then decided to go out and do another quest before shutdown.. completed it too..logged off a lil before shutdown....all I can say is...NOW I REALLY don't like the little blighter. Perhaps a little more parental guidance from her parents..like not letting her wander off with strangers (chars) might have made her a little more sane? (LOL)

It was a most amusing way for Anet to say...ok..time to go.

That was so awsome! I wanted to do a music video like that, but nothing could top that.
