This thread cracks me up. I was asleep when it all happened, so I can't say I'm upset about any of it. Que sara, sara. It's just so unbelievably funny people can be when responding to such a boo-boo.

As has been said before, mistakes happen. I can understand being upset about losing time with things accomplished during said time. Or even having some great drops lost forever. OK, I'd be a little upset. But as Gaile said, "it was and is the right move to make".

The economy must be preserved or else a much larger percent of people over a much shorter period of time will be essentially crapped on. I just started playing a month ago, and I don't nor will I ever eBay, so I don't have a large amount of gold so far. But I can completely understand those who have played for almost a year and have acquired large amounts of Ectos, Shards, and other expensive items, only to have them become almost worthless.

It was a small mistake, that turned into a huge one, and it must be fixed. Take your time, A-Net, make it right. I want to earn my valuables like everyone else, not handed to me on a plate.

Naked twister is the ONLY way to play as long as your the only guy :P or girl , eh yea........../me gets out shovel and digs a little deeper

Words of wisdom and very well put. I agree wholeheartedly. While I feel for those souls that did play (and accomplish things) this afternoon. I think that a living breathing economy is one of the appealing aspects of the game. I would hate to see that destroyed for a few hours worth of play, so for the greater good, everyone is gonna have to sacrifice a little. What is a completed mission compared to a stable game anyway? I'd much rather have them fix things and miss out on a night playing, then have them rush and miss something and have to roll it back again.

lol yeah.. that was me. they didn't even make me king or anything. the funny thing is I thought it was going to be the pve entrance into the Hall of Heroes (not really knowing what HoH was at the time as I played the PvE mainly) and would get a Celestial Sigil and some kind of special item or something. So you can imagine the look on my face when I showed up at Droks lol.. Friggin Glint. I'm glad I killed her in the Dragon's Lair :-) BTW, yes it was ME that ended the lich's plans, as I took a full group of henchies and not a single other player.. :-)
