Strangest Item You've Seen

I felt compelled to start this because I was doing Tombs yesterday, and got a Gold Bow from a chest. Felt pretty good, because drops have been bad lately, and I need a good bow for my other char. Well our group dies, but I figure I'd identify the awesome gold bow I found. "Ebon Flat Bow of Pruning" - I was like what!!?? I've never heard of anything like this - now I can cause massive damage to plants.

A Guildie of mine found a Shadow Shield in FOW that a Death Magic +1/11% chance mod on it too. Weird

Same thing for a Fire Staff of Water Magic

i saw a rare staff with 3 reqs on it last week, 3 different elements

my awesome death, curse, domination and earth staff

16 AL, req 11 tac
+1 fire magic 13%
+1 illusion magic 15%

so to use it properly you must be 3 classes
WTF?

Fire staff with
+1 blood magic 14%
+1 water magic 11%

I've had a few of these triple-requirements drops as well.

When they first drop, you get all excited!
Then..... (using ID kit)
What the .....?????
(Serious letdown ensues.)
(Now using Salvage kit.... hoping to extract a mod.)
8 Wood planks! Bah!

How about a petition to ANet to keep drops to a max of 2 requirements?

If you don't agree... please state why. I am curious to know if anyone has a real use for a triple-requirement item.

I picked up a gold tall sheild armor 16 req 9 tatics, with the mod of +1 casting of divine favor spells(chance 19%) i sold to the trader for 488 gold

i used to have a real nice req 9 tactics +1 to protection prayers shield. i sold it for 40 plat.

well, there is this staff wrapping - does nothing, just a staff wrapping - no effects on it at all. wish i didn't trash the 2 i had when space became an issue and i didn't have a storage account yet...

I found an Idol the other day not far from Grendich Courthouse.

Now someone tell me how that is useful at all? I salvaged it almost instantly; couldn't stand to look at those evil stats any longer than a second or two...

I had a axe drop in the northern shiverpeaks, it was a modest white, but what caught my eye was (REQ. 1)....I had never seen a req 1....
