While I was playing FPE at 8:00 10+ gmt There was the person incharge of the skills her name was "Isha <and somthing else gose here...cant remember>"
I asked her a few questions one of them regarding 55hp monks and ss necros...I asked him weather he'll Stop 2 man UW farms and gave him a sugestion to take away the -50hp offhands to reduce the efectiveness of 55hp monks...He just replied "in factions there will be another super hard area like the under world that wont be easly beaten by two man builds..." I was happy to hear that but while he said that he also meant that he is not going to stop the UW being abused...
So for all of you wondering wether the 55hp monk is going to be nerfed...
This is the horrible truth.

What you posted doesn't indicate a nerf per se. It just means that 55 monks (as part of two man or solo) probably won't be able to farm the new UW-equivalent Factions areas.

He told me the truth (that was clear...) about evrything else I asked him... Besides He was answering MANY more people aswers.

He even said a stament in reply to change the subject he said "<somthing gose here> I give a kick to solo'rs" (atleast I think he tried to change the subject but I might be wrong...)

Prot spirit: Target ally Cannot lose more than 10% health from any single attack or spell. Prot spirit ends if allys maximum health is below 150
Wouldnt affect anyone but the 55hp farmers, so its not because they cant, its because they dont want to nerf it

And for the thing about "why they shouldent be able to do it they're way..." because its a abuse to the UW people are making characters for the sole reason of farming. Most of the poeple who attempt to make such characters usualy choose an SS necro,
and a 55hp monks' for rich people who want to get even richer; one word : Greed

im 50/50 on the farming topic thats been floating around this section of guru lately
its a pain in the ass that people farm to the point where the items you are trying to sell to make money are cheaper than they used to be but look at the whole other side of it, struggling characters who farm char hides in ascalon because they arent that great of a character yet now have a jump start because that 10 minutes after it came out 100k item is selling for 5k in just a matter of weeks.
but then we get into the rich vs poor argument... rich people wanting greed and to make it harder for poor people to get good items to possibly...dare i say, get it on their own?

I Have played the game enough to know that the SS necro and the
55hp monk are abusing the UW - Yes I repete (srry for speeling) - SS necros and 55hp monks are abusing the UW.

Drop fatigue seems to activate sooner than ever. Most 55's farm the trolls now, and those were never a great money maker, even less so now with teh hundreds hitting them up now.
America rarely has favor anmore so there are even fewer bots in UW now, but drops there are lower than ever. The bot issue seems less pronounced in Euro servers, at least that I've noticed.
So remove the 55 and what happens? The people behind the bots form 3/4/5 man teams and still get as much gold for their boss to sell on ebay. End result? The honest 55'er gets shafted. Yes, there are legitmate players that run 55's to make some gold for themselves. No different than warrior soloing ettins, trolls, hydras, or whatever else.

The ones that ruin the game are the whiners and complainers. give it a rest already.

Ive have had a 55 monk since a month after release and I can say that yes they are good at farming certain areas but they cant farm in as many places as a warrior. IMO the warrior is farm king does that mean he should be nerfed NO! There is and will allways be better ways and places to make gold than solo/duo UW.
The bottom line is that I think Anet will never remove players ability to solo farm and shouldn't because the fact is the PvE game is not that large and they need something i.e FoW armour - super rare skins to keep the older players interested until the next chapter.
If it wasnt for 55 and SS Uw runs, Spider farming or whatever I would have quit the game months ago.

I see 55hp monking as a inbalance in the pve world, and one of the main reasons i switched to pvp. I mean, here is a build which is by far the best at farming FoW etc, but it hasnt be nerfed!
Pls ANET, for the love of god, make the economy more balanced. That means giving other proffesions an equally viable way of making money, or nerfing this exploit. ppl say it will crash the economy, of course it wont, it will simply bring all the 55ers back to every1 elses level.
If they made an area specially designed for solo rangers, solo mesmers etc, what do u think the reaction would be? Get rid of the anomalie, and bring some balance to the pve world like u strive to do in the pvp world.

But, this is indeed not a nerf. 55 monks can continue just as they currently do. However, following in their later style (as evidenced by Ruins of Tombs), they will not let 55 builds dominate the newer areas. I really like this stance. Don't ruin what we got, but encourage/mandate new thought for successful strategies in the new areas. Way to go Anet!
