Anyone know the mix to make a really nice red for Shadow Shields? Plain red dye looks rather... purple in appearance.

For some reason Red+Purple+Green is flashing in my head. If you have the quid lying around, try it.

I looked at the Necro 8k Scars 2 dye-mix chart - and I've noticed that well... it's not worth dying because it's not even noticable...

Anyways I was wondering if anyone has actually tried 3 or more dye-mixes and have it turn out well... ??

Hi Vahn,

Well I'm mainly referring to the 15k Necros set... the chart (the 2 dye mix, 15k Necro Scars one) provided in this thread all looks black to me... the scar itself doesn't seem to change in colour per mix o.o

I'm referring to the 15k set only... I know the Drok's set dyes well...

Yeah, last time I checked, 15k Scars aren't really effected by dye. But I have noticed that on the darker skinned necros, dying them silver gives them a slight and very thin silver outline.

For those thinking about dying their Bronze Shield, well, it dyes like Magmas and Shadow shields; only a specific area on the shield gets dyed.
Here's an example:

Used a Green+Blue combo dye.

Fezz, if the dye traders get their supply back (they were out of red last I checked), I may do the pics for an assassin armor and send it over you, so people at least have an idea of how assassins dye. I also have pics for a water wand dye chart that I'll send over with them.

Ok, it may be a while before I get around to putting them together(Finals, and I need to finish exploring Cantha), but as soon as I get enough free time I will make sure to get the Assassin chart up(after I get the pics).

Just to let you know, theres a guy with new monk obsidian ascetic armor and it wont dye like my guide or your guide. they seem to have changed the formula.

If either of you guys or community members are willing to do a dye guide for the new monk obsidian armors, new owners of monk fow would appreciate it!

Does anyone know how to make a light pink color for female assassins. I tryed 2 reds and 1 silver, but that was too dark and wasn't really pink. Maybe a mix that has 3 silvers and 1 red.

RSS or RSSS would be my guess, although the assassin armor red is pretty light as is. If that doesn't work, you could try throwing in other colors to see what happens (red+purple+silver?).

i am officially pissed, i just spent 25k on necro 15k upper body scars.. tried to silver them and, since my skin is black, and they stay dark, they look retarded, my 1.5k's look 5 times better and this sucks.. anyone know how to make 15k scars look white/silver in any way?

15k scar armor doesn't dye properly, on the "rims" of the scars change color. You're out of luck, sorry.

I have a light pink on my assassin, its impossible to get the neon pink warrios can geton their armour.

I think i did red+purple+dye remove

or try red+silver

I'm not 100% sure, since i did it along time ago.

Anyone here tried to black dye their 15k Kurzick warriors? Before i spend my money on it: im a little scared the black will blend in with the eye-holes on the helmet, making it a big black blurr there.

EDIT: Nevermind, a nice drop got me plenty of cash to try it out, and it looks gorgeous

I really do not understand that dye chart. It says which colours to mix, when I do it comes out totally different :\

I think the red dye is buggy. There are a few other items in the game that you can't dye red for some reason.

It could be that the base color of the bags is red, so like necro arnors you wouldn't get any change from using red.

I'm not sure, but I've read that the scar patterns reverse dye. Maybe black would actually create the silver look?

I'd visit The Naughty Necromancer website for pointers, myself. It shows various 15K armor dye pics and has scar pics, too, I think.

No, 15k Scars just suck horribly at Dyeing. If you look really close you can see the color change with each Dye, but its so subtle with most that its pointless. And with dark-skin you make it even harder to see some colors, since most are a darker shade.
