Are you guys ranting just against Canadian EB Games stores or North American ones in general? My CE was shipped plus a free t-shirt on May 5th and according to UPS is arriving on May 10th (I live in GA for the record).

Mine was an EU version of Collector's edition. It was pre-ordered via EbGames, came on the 5th it was also the EU version of GW:F CE. It had the 12+ age Europe ratting on all cd's and had the -EU- in the cd code for all three and the contact information and gw web site address was Europe. I live in the united states.

GAMESTOP is doing ok for me as it is on the UPS truck for delivery ETA 3-4 hours max.

Update ... did some calling around today, found another Game Stop with 2 copies of the CE and had them reserve them under my name, so I'm picking them up after work tonight. The other Game Stop I originally ordered from still expects CE's to come in "any day now," but they said they'd give me credit for the pre-order deposits if I bought the CE's elsewhere.
Incidentally, I now understand the grace period was for Prophecies characters only. How silly of me to imagine a Factions pre-order, giving access to a Factions event celebrating and promoting the release of Factions, then giving a 10-day grace period because of delays in the actual release of Factions CE, would actually include any access to Factions content. Of course it's Prophecies-only! I feel like I went to an auto show showing off 2007 models and got a free test drive...of an '87 Yugo.

Last Friday (May 5th) I went to BestBuy store (twin cites, MN) to buy some CD media, then I happen to see 4 copies of GW:Factions CE on the shelve. Yay! lucky me! I didn't preorder but I was able to buy a CE

It has been almost a full month since I put the full purchase price down for the CE. I am in the same boat as you guys. EB has kept on pushing up the date it says the CE will be delivered. I am not a happy camper.

Redly and I had to get ours at Best Buy. We had paid in full copies of the CE ordered at EBgames but they never came in so we called around and Best Buy had a bunch (go figure) and so we got the 4 needed for this household.
We went to EB and got a full refund.

XD I totally walked into EBGames wearing my Factions shirt from Best Buy. It said for me all that needed to be said.

ME TOO!! Today i went to in Gamestop, and they told me they STILL did not get any Factions CE. I asked for clarification or if they knew when it WAS actually coming in. They couldnt tell me. So right there, enraged, i cancelled my preorder, got my refund and stomped out. Thinking all hope of getting a CE was lost, i went to Best Buy just to check out of curiosity. And sure enough!! They had multiple Faction CE copies available. I picked one up and am SO RELIEVED!! Finally my wait is over, no thanks to Gamestop/Eb, resolved by Best Buy's overabundance of copies.
And even so, i cant play till 9 pm tonight cause im at work. Its 5:30pm now... UGH UGH!! im practically peein my pants to start playing factions again!! lmao, still so releived to finally get a copy. Gratz Gamestop you lost another customer that will really not affect ur profit margins at all... LOL!! enjoy, and Good Luck to those who are still looking for their CE!!

I've read countless posts about ppl cancelling their orders with eb and then dropping into a bestbuy and lo and behold, CE on the shelves. Well...since I tried everything else, I called my bestbuy here in Ontario and guess what?...
"Sorry we don't have any copies and it's backordered so we don't know when we're getting any."
...
...
What I want to know is...why do BESTBUYS magically have an ABUNDUNCE of CE on the shelves, why stores like EBGAMES who have a DEAL with anet, can't seem to get not ONE SINGLE COPY to fill a PREORDER. Capitalized the important words...
Does that make sense to anyone? Am i just going crazy from lack of CE now almost 11 days overdue?

Gaile, I have a question/suggestion. For Chapter 3, to avoid these shipping problems...could you set up some kind of email system where we receive our CD key? We already have the game on our computers. All we need is access to it.

The money you paid for the preorder was supposed to go towards your purchase of the game! So if like me and my family you paid in full ahead of time and if they delivered on time, they would then give us back a certain amount towards the game price. (no shirt at this point)
However we decided that we didn't want to buy from them cause they didn't have our copies yet and we found them elsewhere - they gave us ALL of our money back, including the preorder money cause in reality it was to go towards the price of the game anyways! (We did NOT have to give back the preoder box or anything)- We went elsewhere, got our shirt and our CEs, no problem!

I just called EB in Canada at a major mall and they told me that the CE is not on the list of shipment today.
They have gotten an email from EB head office telling them that they still do not know when it will arrive in Canada.
He knows that Canada is getting 350 copies though, I just hope those are not the June 30th ones.
The mall next to my house (where I preordered and fully paid for the CE) is supposed to get 3 copies as I was told yesterday by the manager there.
I do not know what to do,
-should I give up and get a regular version and forget CE.
-Get regular then once CE is out use the key on top of it.
-Or just wait for CE.
This is really frustrating.

Spoke with EB this morning about 11:34am Mountain time. They have 6 pre-orders, and 6copies in transit. So they could arrive with the UPS man anytime today or tomorrow. I'm not getting my hopes up mind you, But here's hoping.
I'm in Alberta, so this is hopeful news right?

After getting fed up with the run-a-round from EB Canada, I decided to call a couple of Best Buy stores in N/W Washington state - I live near Vancouver, Canada and it's only about 10 minutes to the US border.
And wouldn't you know it, 3 Best Buy stores between us and Seattle (only 2 hours away) had several copies of the CE on their shelves. So I ran over the border and 2 hours later - I got my CE installed on my PC and Kuunie floating around me.
So.. my fellow canucks - if you are close to the border, I highly recommend a road trip to the States. I just called ahead and the store was kind enough to set a copy aside for me.
One final warning about EB Canada - 2 local EB stores confirmed that they were not going to receive enough CEs to cover their preorders. The store I had preordered my CE at said they were only going to get 2 copies (maybe tomorrow - maybe thursday... ). They had 4 preorders.

The stuff in it are great. +the ingame stuff.
/I'd say wait. and try to get a somewhat accurate answer of what "date" they expect it to arrive (like from a document or actual data in their computer stating a specific date when it would arrive in their store). (ie. my store's stated Monday...came today...day late...but Im happy.) If they say like wait another month, then I would think you could get a full refund and maybe try another place.../GL.

Far as I can tell, it seems that all the EB games stores I've called (Vancouver BC area) only got half or less than what they needed to fill orders. Anywhere around 1-4 copies. I mean for crying out loud. One store only had 2 CE preorders left (everybody else got tired of waiting and cancelled) and they only got ONE copy. Meanwhile there are stores all over the states with extra unclaimed copies sitting on the shelves. Is there a point to preordering? I must missing something here because you'd think it would be the people who preorder who get their copies first, not the other way around....

I'm walkingback to the car and look at my phone and there is a missed call, I check my voice mail and wooot, EB called and they have CE
As soon as I was done work I flew to the mall and picked it up and Kunnie was with me the whole night. Even the wife loves him

From reading at different posts, i can see that if you have the SE account of factions loaded, you can't load in the CE without starting a new account or wipe out the old existing account. Can anyone confirm this with me.

if you have an existing SE account of factions, you can add the key and you get the benefits (dances and mini pet), you do not wipe out an old account, you just add on the key to your account so that technically you have both the SE and CE registered to your name, I have done this on my account (I have GWP, GWP CE, GWF, GWF CE and both pre-orders on my account)
