Called ebgames yesterday...they said they got 2 copies in only for their 15 preorders...Guess what? I WAS THE 3rd PERSON TO PREORDER SO I DIDN'T GET MINE!!
Sorry about the caps, just a bit ticked off. So they said to call tomorrow (which is today now). I call them up, the guy says
"Oh I don't know when we're going to get any, if at all. Everyone except you and 1 other guy cancelled their orders."
So you know what I said (not to him but myself). F*** this S***.
No CE game is worth this worth this level of aggravation. So I went to EBgames, cancelled my order, got my 5 bucks back, went to Futureshop and bought the regular copy from them.
No more games from EBgames ever. No more CE from ANET/NCsoft ever. Both have failed me in my eyes.
So now 12!!! days after the game came out, I finally get to play the Non-CE version of it, only 10 bucks more expensive with no T-shirt, which I could have got on the day of release! Thanks anet, you're too kind...

placed the order yesterday 5/9 and check on the status today, it said "shipped" no tracking number yet. I can't believe how fast Gamestop are!

I went into EB shop in Adelaide, Australia yesterday just to have a look and on the shelf was a copy of factions CE. So I grabbed a copy paid my $99 Aust and now I have, art book, stickers, soundtrack, mouse pad, mini pet, poster, map, and calendar. I love Eb

lots of people in my guild already got their CE's yesterday (including me) from different sources. One guildmate even ordered about 5 copies of CE (buying for different guildmates) and all 5 got shipped really fast.

I preordered the CE with EBStore, and I still haven't heard a word from them. I called twice, and a woman said they had some in the warehouse, and would ship one out. Still nothing

Its the Euro version but the North American one looks the same but does not have the cloth pic.
One thing about the map is that its an older one.
All the cities are there but the icons for them are older and the outposts have the icons of the ch1 ones.

I e-mailed anet about it and they said talk to your retailer. I was pissed when mine didn't show up! At EB. It goes to show how much anet really cares!
They should have gotten me a CE. I made a preoder. it will be the last time I shop at EB! The store owner was kind enough to give me a disccount for my pain.

laughs himself almost sick.how in the hottest hell is Anet having any control over what an independent dealer does.
blame EB but leave Anet out of it.
blame the PUBLISHER for any shortages as it is out of Anets hands and control.

Never, ever ever trust Eb. Only thing that is relatively workable with them is online orders... and other stores of course. i hope you get your CE soon man!

EBgames got 350 copies for the ENTIRE COUNTRY! That's pathetic. No wonder I didn't get mine. What pisses me off is when I hear about people in america walking into Bestbuy's and getting off the shelf. Meanwhile dumbasses like myself call EB everyday like a goof hoping our copy has arrived...well I won't make that mistake again. But when I call bestbuy here in canada...no they don't have any...

For people living in the lower mainland BC Canada (Vancouver, Richmond, ect.) Best Buy has some copies of the CE in now. Not sure about Futureshop (technically the same company). The store I went to had 3 copies. But from what I hear, they have over 100 in their warehouse available for 6 stores. I guess that's the power of being a huge company. Publishers will make the big companies happy with more copies while thumbing their noses at smaller chains like EBgames which outnumber bestbuy stores by like 3 to 1. Oh well, at least I finally got one.....

My gamestop still has not recieved them, and now the gamestop website is out of them. I am beginning to think I have wasted $75 and I will never get the game. And if you are wondering, no I don't have the money to just buy a second normal copy of the game

Hey EndoftheSyringe, i'm in the same boat. I preordered it online at ebstore.com months in advance, and still no game. Called 4 times so far, and each time they say there's some in the warehouse and they've given me High Priority shipping. I think that's the equivalent of getting a note on your chart, like elaine from seinfeld lol.
