Yeah, so I found the Marketplace last night and then continued south, like the instructions said. Probably wasted an hour or so looking south of Marketplace. Finally got tired of it and got my 2 hours of sleep before work. Not very good directions, ANet...now I'm at work and will have to wait for up to 12 more hours before I can log back in! Gah!

Yeah, it would be nice if someone from Anet could clarify. The headstart has been extended, but does that mean that the Day of the Tengu has also been extended?

For Prophecies chars, once you've made it to Cantha, if you pick up the defend the soup chef quest in Kaineng Center it will lead you to just shy of the Marketplace. Its an easy quest to do (just take along a full party of henchies). From there you can easily follow the Anet directions to the docks.
There's not much of a need to farm fangs, doing the three quests will give you enough fangs to go with the quest reward fangs to reach 250 easily.
I'm not sure, but has anyone been able to get a mask without completing all 3 quests (ie just buying your fangs straight?)

From what i've read on the GW site, it seems that the EVENT is also extended. Awesome ness too, cuz i won't have to buy the actual game for a few days. woo.

Has any of the event masks been able to be dyed, NO, only runed.

It kinda sucks that they used the every 3 hour system to hand out the masks, especially on a week night. To travel quickly to cities in a whole new area, complete some quests and then hang around for the next three hour event is pretty tough going in one evening.

You aren't kidding. I don't understand why they do that. Whoever came up with that idea should probably be fired because they obviously have no common sense. I have to work all day today and dont get home until 7pm. Then I have to figure out how to get my guy to Cantha, then get to wherever this quest is, do the quests, get the fangs, wait 3 hours for the mask. It's ridiculous. Im thinking I probably cannot get all this done tonight before I need to get to bed for work tomorrow. Thats why I was wondering if this event went on for the next few days.

Well, if it's anything like the Mad King thing, once you get to where you will recieve your mask you should be able to go afk. Don't quote me on this, I'm just saying that it worked for the Mad King.

it took me 20 to 30 minutes with a level 20 warrior your fighting level 2 to 10 naga
i went to bed before i found out how to turn in the mask

I realise this has no stats, but does it replace your head armor or is it just a face mask ?

Im pretty sure it replaces the head armor, most of those special event items do, like the pumpkin head and santa hats.

The masks are nothing like I espected them to be and frankly, I find them very ugly. I'm going to be spending the event just exploring, if I happen to get a good stock of fangs, I'll just sell them for a low price those who have work/school ect. and can't really build the stocks themselves.
