You get a present when your character is 12 months old, not your account.

And I just bought another Miniature Charr Shaman for 100K + 18 Ectos, after selling my old one for 100K + 20 Ectos

At least I made profit..

When you guys mean 1 year, does it mean ur playtime, or like i made a char called Sasuke The Betrayer January 1, 2005. Then i hardly play it for only like 60 hours. Then on January 2, 2006, am i gonna get a miniature? or is it based on the playtime.

It's based on the time created, not play time. If it was play time not a single person would have one.

We should be able to choose a gift to fit our liking, and make them none tradeable.

It's pathetic people making 100's of plat on these "gifts".

That's Anet for ya, thinking everything through before putting them in game.
I got an idea, how about next near Anet can just give out random stacks of rare mats? Some people get Steel while others get Ectos. K Anet?

Minipets can be knocked down by the way by stuff like Giant Stomp ^^ Pretty cool.

And which Pets all make sound? Troll does all the time, and Charr Shaman does it when he's running, pretty cool

I have a character that I made the day before GW: Prophecies came out, and I never got a pet. Can someone tell me what the deal is?

When I type /age, it says I have played for 528 hours over the past 10 months. This implies that I have had my character for 10 months, but I made this character the day before GW came out, I had preordered it and played the day before and after. Why is my character bugged?

I would expect that kvdoom would want a mini-Hydra as a testiment to how many of these he's slaughtered over the past year...
