you know. since this exists. it would be more practical to allow the rangers to have minis of their pets wouldn't it? I mean then you can show them off in town. I love my lizard. had him for a very very long time... Almost as long as I had the character. But until recently (I went full beastmaster in Cantha and FPE) he had not been getting much attention... I had a Black Moa in FPE, and everyone wanted him... Now I'm off to find the Phoenix I think. But I'll tell ya its gonna be really hard giving up my Godzuki Dune Lizard... And I swear it seems like he is getting bigger then he used to be. I wonder if as is evolves it changes size? If I could just get a collar for him like is on the black moa... lol he would be good for another year at least. lol

I think the mini pets are awesome but think that the selling price on these is totally outrageous. They are selling for more than most weapons. Rurik and Shinro for 600k+ ?!?...wow

I sold my bone dragon for 127 ecto's which I ended up selling @ 5.5k each.
Essentially, I said 700k and the guy didn't even hesitate when he said okay.

Hmmm, the presents keep coming for characters as they hit 1 year, correct? This isn't just for characters that hit 1 year on GW's 1 year birthday? 
In other words, if I have a character that's at 6 months, they'll get one of these 6 months from now, correct?
If that's the case, there are going to be an ass-load of these things in the game before long and the prices will plummet in a hurry I'd think.
I hope it doesn't get too annoying with a million of these little buggers running around everywhere (they don't show in towns, do they??? Please tell me they don't show in towns).

I got a mIni Jungle troll. I have two toher chars that are a month or two away from their birthday, I can't wait! I want a CHarr and a bone dragon o.o; Or a mini Melandru Stalker, or a mini wolf or osmething XD OR hum, a mini Tengu or mini centaur thing. I'm trying to think of other cool things o.o; like a mini devouerer.

the bulk of my friends and I remake our chars constantly to keep interested in the game... ( it also is a great plat sink)
when factions was on the horizon we all deleted chars En mass to make room for factions charicters...
kinda sad people who remake a lot of charicters and sink a great deal of plat out of circulation get the short end on this..

Maybe it would be better to choose what kind of 'mini-pet' you get, although they are birthday presents I wouldn't be that happy with a whiptail devourer (IMHO, the worst monster ingame) than I would be with Rurik (now you're my bitch rurik!). Maybe choosing your pet is not the best solution, somebody got a different solution?

As for the presents, i think this was one of the most intelligent move from Dev Team! I think you guys understand the wisdom of it.
I have a friend of mine who is a devoted PvE'er but he didn't bothered farming or grinding throughout GW thus was maybe one of the poorest gamer in GW, I helped him most of the time donating plats cause he didn't have even the tiniest plat in his inventory to unlock skills, now he gets 3 chars. I think in the end his devotion payed off ...

I dont see why people dont like the jungle troll, I traded my Turtle for a jungle troll and 5 ecto, And i wuld have done it strait up but they really wanted the turtle and offerd 5 ectos. IMO the jungle troll is one if the top 5 best ones.IMO the pet should fit the charecter. I use my necro and mes the most and just didnt think a turtle was as fitting for a necro as a troll is. Now for my ranger I would want a turtle but I dont use him much currently. A turlte is supposed to be small and slow so I just didnt find it as cool as a Growling Mini Troll.
